Lol. I won't lie, the main reason i went for the 8GB one... Was the color. I had to have that BLACK!!! If not, Omo! 6GB/64GB. Because.... 6GB is plenty RAM. And i never got my OP3 filled up to 90% and even then. I had up to 15-20GB of data i could delete at ANYTIME. However, dseeing that i have 81GB free space now, feels very very nice. Haha!

Okay guys. Building up to my full review... Here's a quick one.

Battery : Fantastic. I've found myself at 50% more than a few times with 5hrs screen time already. I cannot and will not complain about this. Well unless it explodes. (Cough! Cough! Note 7 Cough!)

Screen: It's brilliant. It's not the best one out there as it's only 1080p. But it's better than the one on my OnePlus 3. It has this contrast i like.

RAM: After loading most things i use on the device, i still have like around 5GB of RAM free, lol more than the S8 has as a whole. I don't know if you'll notice any difference between the 8GB model and the 6GB one, maybe micro seconds? And who that wan epp? Lol.

Design: It looks like the iPhone 7 Plus. Yes! But there aren't many ways to put two cameras behind the phone and have it not look like something else with 2 cameras. DEAL WITH IT! Midnight Black is GORGEOUS! I paid $60 more just for this color lol. I take it out of the case just to look at it at times. Sue me!

Asthetics: Out of the box, maybe including the thing in your head that you are holding an iPhone 7 Plus. Lol. It feels premium right out of the box. Feel in hand is better than the OP3. BUT! It's also more slippery, you want to use a case on this one. Well, i am!

Speakers: In some scenarios, i hear an extra punch that definitely wasn't in the OP3. A certain roundness to the sound. However, sometimes it's not like it changed at all (compared to the 3). I think it's when I'm watching like a video online and not playing a song or maybe it's because i hardly use speakers. I'm a very earphone person. Lol. But whenever i hear that extra OOMPH, it's always nice. Really nice.

Audio DAC: Definitely better. Music playback via earphones is fantastic. Whenever i plug in my Brainwavz Jive, there's a party in my head. Plenty plenty loudness, yet amazing quality.

Lol. That felt like a full review already. I will write more later.

And yes, people that don't know OnePlus will think you bought an android iPhone 7 Plus. They know nothing, they are all Jon Snow.

Thanks, the One plus one (2014) has aged remarkably well thanks to the android community, its no longer seeing updates but there are quite a lot of custom ROMs based on Nougat that has kept this phone going.. The hardware was good from the start anyway,
I have been running the Resurrection remix ROM and its been awesome. The only issue I have is the battery, its now showing its age, am only getting 4hrs screen on time; still not bad for a device that's almost 3 years old..

That's the good thing about Android. Also, 4 hrs SOT is not the worst. Depends on usage too...

But the number one thing that OnePlus has going for them is that software. Oxygen OS is a DREAM!

MIUI, not a fan. Too much skin over Android.

Modded my OP5 to have red accents. Red+Black. Best color combo IMO.

what made me decide for the oneplus 5 is cos of the lte/4g bands...oneplus 5 supports more bands than oneplus 3t, especially band 28-glo
