Not that I was expecting a reformed electioneering process, I'm a Nigerian and I know that whenever we promise more we will always find ways to deliver less when it comes to politics. Our democracy is an eyesore, patriotism is dead.

So, I sit out today election.

Maybe that sole responsibility of the INEC in Nigeria should be opened for bidding by private companies. One may not be totally wrong to say that INEC can not be relied upon even though electronic voting is adopted in Nigeria. YAKUBU has failed Nigeria and he should be investigated.

I do not support the Naira redesign policy in its entirety but I must state that what the supreme court did was an affront to the corporate administration of the apex bank.

The apex court should have told us that the apex bank has no power and constitutional right to redesign our note, unless they get backing from the court. I don't know what the law says in this regard.

Why would the court give a validity period of till 31st December without due consultation with CBN? This, by extension, means that the apex court controls the economic policies of the apex bank and its implementation. This is not so right.

Politics / The Lawless Giant, What Do You Think? by Starpro87(m): 12:01pm On Mar 12, 2023
Senior advocate of Nigeria, Samuel Jibrin Okutepa has said Nigeria is a lawless society.

J. S Okutepa(SAN)

Okutepa who recently refused being part of APC’s defence team in the legal battle between INEC, APC vs Labour Party, said Nigeria needs deliverance.

He cited a 2018 case in which a Supreme Court ruling that mandated a certain Friday Makama be paid his salary allowances after an unjust suspension, was blatantly disregarded.

“Disobedience of court orders is normal in Nigeria. Many orders of our courts are always not obeyed. In 2018, the Supreme Court made orders that Hon Friday Sani Makama be paid all his salaries and allowances following his unlawful suspension from Kogi State House of Assembly.

“That order remains disobeyed till date. There are many other orders that lawyers can point out.

Orders that INEC should allow for inspection of electoral materials made by the court of Appeal for the just concluded presidential election is not being obeyed.

“Nobody respect the law of Nigeria. Nigeria is a lawless society. Like satanic agents, it gives people and institutions joy to be lawless. There are no consequences for disobedience. That is why impunity reigns in geometric proportions in Nig. Nig needs help and deliverances.

Jibrin Samuel Okutepa is a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, SAN. He is the founding Partner of J.S. Okutepa SAN & Company; a law firm based in Abuja, FCT, with branches in Makurdi, Benue state, and Lokoja, Kogi State, North Central Nigeria.

Wike's OYO State visit is healthy for Makinde's second term bid. The visit will serve as a reminder of the efforts of the G5 in getting electoral justice for a southern president. It will also remind everyone especially the APC members of the role played by GSM that guaranteed victory for BAT. I am sure votes will come in for Seyi Makinde from all voters irrespective of their affiliations. OYO VOTERS ARE INTELLIGENT VOTERS.

In as much as I don't have so much against the Asiwaju presidency, I only have so much against the processes and procedures that brought about it. If it stands, may God help him to succeed and bring about the positive changes that we campaign for. I would, categorically, say that WIKE deceived MAKINDE. PDP in Oyo state losing all the Senatorial seats to the opposition APC obviously poses a great danger and threat to MAKINDE's success on 11th. MAKINDE did not play this politics like a politician, or maybe he knows what he is doing. Obviously, Wike has played a dangerous politic that no one can predict how he will benefit from it.
Be that as it may, I subscribe to that political MANTRA that "PARTY IS SUPREME"

No lecturer will go around asking year 1 student to write their names and pay them so as to pass Chen 131.1 guy.
Senior colleague can go around deceiving gullible year 1 students that they know the lecturers and they should give them money so they can talk to the lecturers and pass them.
Reasons for mass failure in year 1 can be as a result of missing script or maybe they did not set past questions i.e that brought new questions for student.

As long as you are in year 1 as a uniport student in sciences you dont need to sort any lecturers to pass your exams.

The same dept of chemistry your insulting here, i have never had any carry over in any of their course, the least i has was a C and that was because they set new set of questions( Dem no repeat past questions) 😢😢😢😢

Even when me and my coursemates had an issue with a course in our year 2, we went to meet them and they helped us sort it out. we no pay shishi

Now I'm not saying lecturers do not collect sorting though but they dont go around forcing student to sort especially year 1 students in sciences in uniport.

You guys will not read neither will you go for tutorials, then when you fail you will start blaming the lecturers.

My year 1 was the easiest year for me, no be small pet them pet us, that was until we enter year 2 , and they started showing us the demons 🤣🤣🤣🤣.

Year 1 questions that are mainly objectives and some subjectives .

Some lecturers do fail student they know personally though, but that is in higher level when they are taking only your dept.

But who know you for year 1, when about 3 faculty they learn for one small hall 🤣🤣🤣.

Chief, lecturers do it. It's happening.

Truly, a mob has no brain.

Today, there are millions of Yorubas, old and young who have endorsed Peter Obi and Atiku, two men who had contributed ABSOLUTELY nothing meaningful into their existence or to their region -- people like Mr. Macaroni, Pa Adebanjo, Obasanjo, Bishop Oyedepo and there likes. They are not declared the enemies of Yoruba.

I cant just fanthom, how an entire tribe became so warped in tribalism, that the only response to any form of opposition: thief, criminal, kill him, kill him and kill him. Now after 2023, after Peter had woefully pander away the political bargaining chips of the Ibos, and come a distant 4th of 5th, they will start showing BIAFLA up and down --- LEFLENDUM -- SIT AT HOME.

All the best!

There is a clear difference between opposition and demarketing.
Soludo is not just opposing Obi, he is demarketing Obi and it takes high level of hatred to demarket someone that holds nothing against you.

I see lots of sense in what Governor Soludo wrote.. especially as it bothers on Igbo and the Nigeria's politics. Any region that wants to rule this country, in as much as we are using this bicameral system of government....will have to unite at their base first, then seek alliance with other regions. That's how it can work.

But, I hate the fact he said Peter Obi cannot win...that's a low one for me...Peter Obi is his kinsman.. irrespective of their political differences..

He is trying to stay on the track of a moving train...his statement on Peter Obi's chances mask the sense in his writeup.

He was trying to sabotage his own brother..

It's a very sad development

But Obi is not contesting for the Igbos nah.
