Happy weekend! How are you all doing my people?
So I went to my farm yesterday to observe my crops, I was about leaving before I remembered to go and observe my trap if I would be lucky. So sad it was a very small bush mice my trap caught.
The meat is small but wastage is a sin here.
Your guess is good as mine
Better luck next time, but this is not mou(i)ce, it's actually rat.
PoliticsRe: 2027 Wont Be About Tinubu Failure, It Is About Stopping Obi At All Costs by Starpro87(m): 12:48pm On Jul 07
manmade:
In my view, Peter Obi has not demonstrated that he has practical solutions to Nigeria's challenges. I see him as someone whose rhetoric has not been matched by a convincing roadmap for governance. Compared to former President Buhari, I believe he would perform no better, and I also question his willingness to make difficult and politically costly decisions.

Meaningful reforms require courage, political will, and the willingness to make difficult decisions despite public criticism. In my opinion, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has shown more of those qualities through the reforms his administration has pursued. While reasonable people may disagree about the outcomes, I believe Nigeria's long-term progress depends on leaders who are prepared to take tough decisions rather than simply make attractive promises.

A good student of history would understand that countries such as China endured periods of severe economic hardship and international ridicule before achieving rapid development. Through sustained policy reforms, long-term planning, and determined leadership over many years, China transformed itself into one of the world's largest economies and a major global power. My belief is that genuine national transformation requires patience, consistency, and leaders who are prepared to pursue difficult reforms in pursuit of long-term progress.
In all of these, there is absolutely and absolutely one thing that is posing a great threat to the development of Nigeria.

If we get a leader that can fight that, then we may be getting closer to solving this problem.

Corruption can demystify any kind of clever reforms.

If you don't steal, it will be difficult for your children to steal.

Same Tinubu told Jonathan to resign.

Pastor. REST!
He is simply saying that Baba has done very well, so he has no reason to protest against his government.

We have politicians here, not leaders.
I'm sorry to say we have a long long long way to go.

You're correct.
Even the insecurity ravaging Nigeria is a global issue, so no need to complain.

Nairaland GeneralRe: My Landlord Increased My Rent By 108% by Starpro87(m): 4:40pm On May 03
skultrick:
My landlord has increased my rent by 108%. So instead of paying 1.2m I will now pay 2.5m for a 2bed.

That's above my budget. So I am moving out.

I wanted ask, is it okay to inform the landlord a month before rent expires that I am not renewing or is a month too short?

Rent expires July ending, so it okay to inform in May or June?

Thank you.
If you inform him ahead he might start unnecessary victimization.

For me, I will just inform him the very day I'm moving out.

PoliticsRe: Kwankwaso Popularity Is Restricted To Only Kano State- Atiku by Starpro87(m): 7:29am On Apr 16
Any opposition that has Atiku as a Frontline member is a losing opposition.

He doesn't understand how best to take power from a ruling party.

I wish Kwankwaso and other high ranking members like Obi, Tambuwal, Elrufai etc, can beat him to his game.

What happened to the biased CAF referee, and why did he allow the match to continue?

So if a player on a particular team walks out during a match, victory will be declared against them?

AFCON is a joke.
PoliticsRe: Nigerians Express Outrage Over Recent Petrol Price Hike by Starpro87(m): 3:02pm On Mar 08

This is exactly what I said, increment twice in a week? It seems dangote just sits down and adjusts price with a slight move in price of crude oil. That man is ruthless and doesn’t care about us one bit like he made us believe. It’s no longer dollar and now crude oil determining the economic ground of our country. Government must do something to curtail Dangote.
Sorry you believed it in the first place.

PoliticsRe: Petrol May Hit ₦1,000/Litre As Dangote Hikes Price by Starpro87(m): 7:13am On Mar 03
nairalanda1:
The problem with running a business is that you have to set prices that enable you to replenish stock, pay maintenance costs, pay for upgrades, pay staff a decent and competitive wage, pay taxes to the government (and you can be sure Lagos is taxing dangote well well), pay for liabilites, pay shareholders (yes, the refinery is about to go public) and pay for expansion costs, and pay back loans and so forth, and have someting left over.

Dangote cannot set prices that would satisfy the poor or the people laboring under harsh economy, because if he did that, his refinery will be scrap in a few years.

What you call wickedness...is how many people, not just Dangote, are able to earn enough to survive.

Unless you want dangote to pay his workers something like N3K for refinery workers, and N100000 for management staff, so that you can buy fuel at N100 per liter

And if you want subsidy, ask for your senator to pass the laws...but know that e go chop the oil money well well, and e go push us into more debt.
You made a great point, but you missed something here.

Dangote must not be allowed to be the only company controlling the market because this is what we will continue to experience.

Do you know that Dangote did not load out to people who already paid for product because he wanted to adjust his price, something you hardly experience if we were importing.

If we were importing, by now we should have, at least, 5 MV at sea, meaning that price adjustment wouldn't have been as sharp as Dangote's.

The adjustment, to me, is so wide and that would put more pressure on the native economy.

Iran should watch how it attacks fellow Arab nations so it does not lose their support and sympathy because that would be a big mistake.
We hope the possible rise in fuel price would not cascade down to affect our pump price in Nigeria too?

He has already suspended sales.
Even to those that already paid before the breakout.

Iran has struck Saudi Aramco facility, the war appears to be spiraling out of control. Dangote might also see heavy cash flows as markets react.

Good day, bro.

So I was able to move the funds in my wallet, after which I was able to place order for stock.

For almost 2 days, it is saying executing .

Is that alright, or something is still missing?

Please note that I'm new in this whole stock stuff.
Thanks and thanks again.
