500k in Ph is way better than 250k in Lagos, provided the coy has a similar or better career prospects. House rent in Ph is quite better than what it is in Lagos. Prices of food are almost the same. Transportation in Ph is better. Ph is calmer than Lagos, and life in Ph is cooler.
seunmsg: If you see nothing wrong in Peter Obi attempting to bribe Northerners with borehole and food, why are you crying over Federal Government’s decision to subsidize hajj payment for Muslims? What’s wrong with two can play the game?
You termed it bribe? BTW, a bribe that will benefit the poor masses is better than the bride that will benefit the (already) rich.
FarmPlanetNG: There is a reason they are called " PERISHABLES " in the forst place.
You are indeed a clown and a joker. Who buys tomatoes for preservation for a year. This only happens when the misinforned becomes weathy. And to make such a post only does nothing but project your IQ and poor level of understanding of life. In atomic chemistry and physics, a phenomenon exists that is called half-life. By principle, it also exists in biological sciences. The half-life principle when it comes to food and its kinds theoritisizes that the quality of all kinds of foods in life reduces in quality each day until ut becomes ordinary shaft ( death process )
What i am saying in essennce is that it is to your great disadvantage to buy raw foods for long term storage because the nutritional components of the foods becomes broken and broken down by each day. You will eat it but what makes it nutritous and nourishing for the body completely breaks down molecularly and by the time you eat it after prolonged storage the butrients in it would have diminished by as much as 50-70% hence life by this principle encourages continous work so no one stores and refused to work further
I am saying aby storage of tomatoes, vegetables, pepper for long term is a disadvantage. Do not repeata this again. Eat, thank God for provision and pray to have for the future
Na person wey chop bellefull dey talk of nutrients. Make em chop first.
Donwilson88: The deliberations and complaints won’t help! How then do Naira get a solution to this?! If not to be productive! Thats if the Right policies are provided by competent Government!
Now the question? Do Naira owners(Nigeria) have competent Government??
Shore up power supply to boost local productions. The demand for dollar is more than the supply, so no magic would be able to save the naira. It's as simple as that. We must be strategic about it or it will maintain the downward trend.
DesChyko: Reno: Dangote Refinery bought US crude because Nigeria's crude has been purchased far into the future.
Still Reno: Dangote Refinery can purchase its crude from anywhere because it is a private establishment.
Why the fuss if it was never really meant to be a Nigerian thing then but just a private show?
Factos: Dangote will import crude with dollar purchased at N800 - N900. Local man will import for their businesses with dollar purchased at N1500. But local man should spend more time shinning teeth for every Dangote news that emerges.
That's if it's actually crude that is being imported
Exactly. They may be importing refined product while telling us it's crude. Reno is always scratching the truth, he doesn't go deep into the truth even when he knows the truth.
cenaman: A calender year is 12 month not 13.... Na thief u be?
It is supposed to be September to September. If you said it's August and you keep calculating that way, there will get to a point where everything will close in and your rent will expire the same moment you're paying it. Let them not use your brain.
You can get what you're looking for from the gym, I have evidence.
Gideonski: Hello guys, I'm a 25 year old male and close to over 6'2 inches tall. Right from childhood, I've always had this thin physique that has made me look very lanky. Infact, I've never experienced what it feels like to put on weight or be fat 😁. Over the years, i have done a number of research and it i read that i have the endomorph body type or something like that, but i really want to bulk up so that it will fit my height. I can't afford to go on a diet or eat 5-6 times a day as suggested by the internet, but can i get bulky if i join the gym?
Rich kids would think you were preparing a diet for the god of thunder.
dominique: Interesting . What you should have done is put the onions earlier on, onion actually makes beans soften faster. That style is how I cook my cow legs now since my pressure cooker is no longer pressure cookering. I boil the meat for about 30 minutes, leave it in hot water for hours or even overnight. By then it would have softened after which I boil again for another 20-30 minutes, dem no born am well make e no soft. Na to improvise sure pass with the way things are going in this country
Only a selfish politician will play the kind of politics Tinubu wants to play in Rivers. How can he hand over APC party structure to Wike who is a PDP member also? What it means is that Tinubu is only interested in winning his presidential election in Rivers, without considering other party members who may be interested in other elective positions. It's a desperate game.
Let's agree, in all fairness, that he inherited a dead economy. If Tinubu says and wants to convince us that he's not complicit in the allegations then he should go after those that allegedly killed the economy. It is as simple as that.
Nothing different from the normal. If it was a move that wouldn't go well with the governors they would have contested it. It's still business as usual.
I resumed for work a few minutes to 0800 today and went straight to the workshop to continue my rag cutting task. I had already being told by my cabin mate that I should always endeavor to get to work by 0750H. One of the ladies working in the ECR (Engine Control Room) came to call me and said that the chief engineer didn't know I had come that I should always come to the ECR first or else the chief engineer(CE) will think I came late. On getting to the ECR met some other officers of the engine room. The CE addressed all of us on being hardworking and avoid being negligent. He said he's watching and will take disciplinary action if necessary. He then dismissed us. After sometime he called me to ask for the ship I had worked before and I answered that this was my first time on board. He said I should be very careful being a first timer I should take things easy and should stay away from moving machinery until I know how to operate it. He asked for my career ambition which I told him I wish to progress to oiler then upwards. He then informed me that I should come to his cabin on Saturdays or Sundays to collect his boiler and civil suit to wash. Below is the hierarchy of the engine room ( from top to bottom): Chief Engineer 2nd Engineer 3rd Engineer Electrician Fitter Motorman Oiler 1 Oiler 2 Wiper (I may update in the future in case it's not correct) One of the expatriate (of which I am yet to know his designation) came to call me that the CE wants to do some work that I should assist him. I went to help him bring in some of the things he wants to use to work in the workshop. He later instructed me to empty the dustbin which I did with the help of my cabin mate and the motorman. I also went down the engine room with both of them to clean the filter of the high sea check. Veronica one of the ladies came to call us that provisions for the ship had arrived and that we should collect and put in store. While we were collecting the provisions I moved close to Alhaji Sariyu He told me he wondered why people are so selfish. He said the monthly allocation for the ship for food provisions is 1.2m but that everyone wants to cut their own share. From the captain, Chief Cook up to the people bringing it. We both agreed that that is the general attitude of Nigerians always wanting to get selfish benefits for any chance given to them. I was called to the 'Bridge' (Office of the captain and the ship's navigation center)today at several times to get my personal data and documents.
My little advice is that you should stick to it because you have a very great prospect.
Most importantly, that your department is a great place to work, onboard.
Democracy, as we were told, is the government of the people, by the people and for the people. Maybe the definition has changed in the case of the Niger Republic. The Nigeriens have declared their support for their current government, which other democracy are USA and ECOWAS talking about?
Tinubu must not yield to this pressure, unless he is another puppet of the states. The USA are pure hypocrites and conscienceless opportunists.
