It’s not your fault that you are very busy at work,
you are actually busy because you are very relevant at work,
so don’t blame yourself that you could not prepare well for the CITN exam.

The big question is……
Is it possible to study and Pass CITN exams even if you have a very busy schedule?
Yes, it is.

Wondering how it is possible?

……You need 1 hour per day for 30 days to finish a paper (inclusive of questions and answers).

……You need 2 hours per day for 30 days to finish 2 papers (inclusive of questions and answers).

You may ask, “how can I spare 1 hour per day”?
These are my suggestions;

• You can wake up very early on a daily basis and study for at least 1 hour before going to work.

• You can study for at least 1 hour before going to bed.

• You can study during your break hour at the office.

• You can spend at least 12 hours studying on Saturday (not at a stretch though).

• You can spend at least 12 hours studying on Sunday (not at a stretch though).

You might feel you still have enough time to prepare for October Diet exam,
but “You may delay, but time will not, and lost time is never found again”— Benjamin Franklin

Based on research and experience, to form a study habit, try to study specific thing
at specific time on a daily basis for 21 days.

It actually sounds so easy but getting started is always the issue,
but if you are really determined to form a study habit, you will put in the effort.


These are the simple step by step process to start studying for your CIS exams;

1. TRY NOT TO DO TOO MUCH STUDYING AT A TIME.

Don’t try to study for 1 to 2 hours at a time,
If you try to do too much studying at one time,
you will get tired, bored and your studying will not be very effective.

Start by studying just one topic for 30 minutes on the first day. After the first 15 – 20 minutes you can take a short break, this will help you to restore your mental energy.

2. HAVE SPECIFIC STUDY TIME:
Have specific time for each day throughout the week for your study.
For example, 5:00am – 5:30am from Monday to Friday.
Note that the time must be the same for a week.

This will help you program your subconscious mind to be ready for study at that specific time.
Just like when you set an alarm for specific time, after some time,
you will wake up at that same time without the alarm

I get lots of mails from ATS students who complained that they are finding it hard to study for their exams.

If you find yourself in this situation, you are not alone,
But
You don’t want to remain in the situation if you must pass this NEXT Diet exam.

The first thing you need to understand about studying is that waiting for the right mood might result in procrastination and
procrastination could lead to FAILURE.
Just start, even when you don’t feel like.
Like medicine, you just have to use it for you to get well, not because you feel like.

Here are some tips that will help you study more effectively:

START WITH THE EASY TOPICS FIRST:

If you start with difficult topics, your mood will get
worse after realizing that you wasted a lot of time without finishing anything to the end. The trick is to start with the easy topic in order to convince yourself that you have progressed in a short period of time.

ISOLATE YOURSELF:
Isolate yourself in a calm place, and leave your mobile phone, tablet, PC, and everything else that could distract you out of the room.
When you do so, you won't find anything to waste time on and you will progress much faster

TAKE 5 MINUTES BREAK AFTER EVERY 33 MINUTES OF STUDY:
Take a short break of 5 minutes from studying after studying for 33 minutes and 33 seconds.
According to research, this will keep you refreshed and
prevent you from becoming mentally exhausted.
This will help you to replenish your energy and prevent you from sleeping.

DO AWAY WITH STUDY PACKS AND USE VIDEO LECTURES:

You don’t need 100% to pass ATS exams,

This is not to say that the study pack is not good, what I am saying is that the fact that the study pack is voluminous, it could discourage you from reading.
Just like a student mentioned in her email
“Any time I see the study pack, my mood just will just go from good to bad” So, concentrate on the video lectures. After you finish the video lectures at least twice, if you still have time, then add ATS packs and other materials you have.

P.S: Don’t let your mood dictate when you should study, remember that
ATS exam does not understand your mood because ATS exam date won’t change as a result of your mood.

Based on research and experience, to form a study habit, try to study a specific thing
at a specific time on a daily basis for 21 days.

It actually sounds so easy but getting started is always the issue,
but if you are really determined to form a study habit, you will put in the effort.


These are the simple step-by-step process to start studying for your ATS exams;

1. TRY NOT TO DO TOO MUCH STUDYING AT A TIME.

Don’t try to study for 1 to 2 hours at a time,
If you try to do too much studying at one time,
you will get tired, and bored and your studying will not be very effective.

Start by studying just one topic for 30 minutes on the first day. After the first 15 – 20 minutes you can take a short break, this will help you to restore your mental energy.

2. HAVE SPECIFIC STUDY TIME:
Have a specific time for each day throughout the week for your study.
For example, 5:00am – 5:30am from Monday to Friday.
Note that the time must be the same for a week.

This will help you program your subconscious mind to be ready for study at that specific time.
Just like when you set an alarm for a specific time, after some time,
you will wake up at that same time without the alarm

For over thirteen years, I have observed a common thread with ICAN exams, when you miss a diet exam, it’s almost certain that you might miss the next diet exam if you don’t deliberately plan and act.
I understand the challenges you face as a busy working-class individual, workload and family responsibilities could be overwhelming. Sometimes you are denied exam leave, which could prevent you from writing the ICAN exam for that diet.
