It’s not your fault that you are very busy at work,
you are actually busy because you are very relevant at work,
so don’t blame yourself that you could not prepare well for ATS exam.

The big question is……
Is it possible to study and Pass ATS exams even if you have a very busy schedule?
Yes, it is.

Wondering how it is possible?

……You need 1 hour per day for 30 days to finish a paper (inclusive of questions and answers).

……You need 2 hours per day for 30 days to finish 2 papers (inclusive of questions and answers).

You may ask, “how can I spare 1 hour per day”?
These are my suggestions;

• You can wake up very early on a daily basis and study for at least 1 hour before going to work.

• You can study for at least 1 hour before going to bed.

• You can study during your break hour at the office.

• You can spend at least 12 hours studying on Saturday (not at a stretch though).

• You can spend at least 12 hours studying on Sunday (not at a stretch though).

You might feel you still have enough time to prepare for the Nov Diet exam,

We all have days where we don’t feel like studying,
we just keep postponing it and sometimes this feeling can last a whole week without studying at all.

I can’t forget my experience back then in the university,

You think it would be feasible enough to use one month or three weeks to get yourself ready for the
exams and still make it?

Well, no doubt a very small percentage of students can still thrive on the last-minute “cramming”. But most of us aren’t able to do so not to talk of the uncalculated risks involved.

You are definitely better off being well-prepared in advance for the exams than waiting to cram at the last minute. You need to give yourself enough time to study and you need to plan this in advance.
Starting your preparations now will not only increase your chances of success, but will also give you the level of confidence that you need to conquer the exams.

But how do you get started and what do you need to do?
The best place to start is to determine what type of approach and techniques that will best suit your learning style and schedule
Should you allocate two hours every day for your studies? Or you should allocate one hour during weekdays and dedicate more hours during the weekends?

All prospective candidates with genuine proof(s) of failed efforts to register before the closing date,
are to visit any of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board offices between Monday 31 May and 15 June 2021, (including JAMB owned Professional Test Centres, PTCs) across the nation to:

1. obtain at no cost, and complete a Form which is being made available to candidates with genuine reasons for missing the registration;

2. submit (for the Reading Test and the Application), a certified Bank Draft of N4,000 only in favor of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board - JAMB (and obtain a signed duplicate copy from the office);

3. submit the completed form with a recent passport photograph at the same office of the collection;

4. collect a copy of the Reading Test;

5. Await further directives through the registered phone number and Public Service Announcement through 9 pm NTA Network NEWS as soon as the screening is completed.

6. Accordingly, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board reiterates that:

I. There is no registration for 2021 UTME/DE without a properly obtained NIN which has to be verified/validated by NIMC.

II. Anyone who submits another application after having successfully registered during the earlier registration period will have the two attempts disqualified.

III. Any false claim will attract severe sanctions, including forfeiture of the deposited Bank Draft, cancellation of application(s), prosecution, etc.

IV. Due to the fact that some parents and school proprietors have been found to mislead candidates for illicit gains and personal aggrandizement, the Board advises all to allow each candidate to personally go through the process. JAMB does not tolerate the involvement of any third party or group in the registration process.

1. TRY NOT TO GO OVER THE EXAM QUESTIONS:

On our ICAN Telegram platform, I saw a student saying that there was an error in one of the questions…….. You have already written the exams, nothing can be done about that, just pray for God’s favour.


Do not go home and start checking your textbooks for the correct answer to the exam questions. This will only increase tension and anxiety. You have written the exam, so put your mind at rest.


When I was in the hostel, back in the university, my roommate checked all the correct answers to the exam questions, he shouted “Mogbe oo ” that is, “I am finished ooo” and he fainted.
I guess he noticed that he didn’t do well.


But to our surprise, he passed that exam.


Why put yourself under unnecessary stress and tension? You have done your best, so leave the rest for God and the examiner.
