“That dividend didn’t come because the NPL ratio was a bit higher than expected for a dividend payment. However, the good news is that this is a one-off thing.”
Medicine after death. Why did the bank not issue a profit warning?

Must the CBN always make them do the right thing and how are we sure this would not continue into Q2 and 2026 result.
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by stcool(m): 9:41am On Apr 27
Release Accesscorp results....No. The CBN can come and mop it up. Why delay results and allow for insider trading. Let them enjoy their nonsense.

UBA...Tony can have it all. It's that simple.

Moving to more reliable banks ; Zenith & GTbank.
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by stcool(m): 10:54am On Apr 26
Investors in UBA should be worried about the growing provisions for bad loans in Q1 which is pointer to challenges business are facing in the economy today.

This should begin to worry any serious investor if it continues into Q2, and is a pointer to what most of the banks will face going forward.

Are we going back to the era of huge non-performing loans threatening shareholders funds huh
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by stcool(m): 12:13am On Apr 26
7 to 8%...You go cry grin grin grin

Bigdeal01:
The convo on UBA is beginning to look like that of Ellah Lakes. Make una relax. Max 7 to 8% loss on monday and back to ranging price action before moving up again.
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by stcool(m): 9:05am On Apr 25
It's not by hopping up and down a private jet and entering the back of a Mercedes Maybach for meetings...

GTbank and Zenith that paid N12.76 & N 10 dividends don't have 2 heads. As an investor on the NGX shine your eyes 👀 with zero emotional attachment.

Baba don port to Oil and Gas ....it has all his attention for now.
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by stcool(m): 8:33am On Apr 25
You keep draining the bank... taking loans to finance other business at the expense of shareholders funds. Make it make sense.

NGX has only 3 bank...GTbank, Zenith & others!!! 👂🏾

Monday I will exit Access and settle for Zenith & GTbank going forward.

Nobody should tell anyone otherwise here....UBA result is a mess for a bank that just raised money last year via rights issue.

Q1 is even a write off....₦801B revenue but only ₦147B profit.

Since TOE has done his own....on Monday the market will reward him.

Average entry for Access Bank is N26...I am left with no choice than to dispose most of it on Monday.

UBA clearly tells what is expected of CBN. Monday go bloody 🩸
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by stcool(m): 2:41pm On Apr 23
Zenith overtaking GTbank is crazy.

Hopefully Access corp delivers....else they would be severely punished by this trigger happy investors.

On the issue of the result....the CBN is to be blamed. A bank submitted the result and till now, I can't explain what CBN is looking for. Makes zero sense ....in all, hold your Access, the dividend will be above 2.50k

20k units is what i bought on public offer directly from Fidelity before i open Investment-one. And when i decided to sell my 20k units, i saw 40k Qty/Unit in my account worth ₦700k., i was even suprised too, so i assumed my 20kunits now overdouble? And i instructed them to sell with hope of getting ₦700k+, only for them to sell it at ₦388k grin
You wan run them street abi na your eyes grin

So why did they not pay the promised N1 interim
Access would pay nothing less than N3 in total dividend.
Those that wait patiently will reap bountifully.

InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by stcool(m): 2:10pm On Apr 16
Congratulations to ETI holders grin

If you are in Access Bank stay put...this should give you a clear pics of target price grin grin grin

For some of us, we would hold for long, as we may not get it this low again.

Oga stool Happy New Year smiley
How genuine or close to reality is this?
ACCESS better behave and pay up to that because....hhmmm 😊
I carry overload here grin grin grin If I perish I perish. If Access Bank does anything N2.50 or above, the price can never remain the same .

If it works, na to dey collect dividend in millions every year as retirement here.

It's a high risk for me. I went all in with a total purchase price of N26

Quite frankly,I am maniacally bewildered by his cowardice.
The way some of you people reason is appalling. Do you know the damage done to Iran will take years, if not decades to fix. At some point you expect the oil route to reopen and that is why just happened but the damage done to Iran and their leaders can't be fixed.

GTBank is clearly the most efficient bank in Nigeria....Share price should remain bullish 📈

Let investors leave Zenith, FCMB amongst others and switch to Access .. Let’s push the SP to 50 .. grin
No need to push SP and I don't see that happening soon. E get as them take dey trade this Access despite their good balance sheet. Last year the market felt they are stingy with dividend....if they pay up to N3 dividend in total this year, keep accumulating below N25

Is like you don't know Ote?

Ote likes money doubling.

He did it in Forte Oil.

He did it in GEREGU.

And he is going to do it in FBNH.
If people know what it took Ote$ to finally lay hands on a Bank like First Bank as the largest shareholder after fighting so hard with TOE.

You will understand that FirstHoldco is a gem that you should keep accumulating. First Bank is the last bustop for Ote$

USA wants to increase local production of its goods. Many feel that the country is too dependent on foreign products, forgetting that there was a reason those factories moved overseas—mostly to China. Another goal is to boost domestic oil and gas production, but it will take a few years for the U.S. to become competitive in that sector as well.

Trump is betting on the thesis that the world needs USA more than USA needs the world. I think he is wrong, but time will tell.

I don't think this will affect us much tbh. Short term cautiousness is all I see in the US

May be the word is "Sell Off" as Market Crash may be too strong. Just a word of caution, as I can already see people convulsing under the post.

The current Global trade war may lead to a stock market crash...just prepare your minds and trade with caution!!!

If you are in profit, learn to take some profit out of the market and invest into something else.
