kolaish: That means you are highly principled. I went to his office at Onipanu to buy 70,000 units of Geofluid for myself @ N5 and also 50,000 units for a close friend, not to talk about others like Union Diagnostics. His papers (Stockwatch) are still in my archives. Everything is now history. Besides the losses made from those investment, it exposed me a lot to the intricacies of stock trading which I am now enjoying to the fullest now. Those days I no dey miss Stockwatch...sometimes i dey go round to look for the paper as not every vendor has it or mostly finished. I always look forward to the next week monday to buy the paper |

Most religious country and yet most corrupt. What is spiritual analysis? Bamidele that scammed people and the man crying of his 40M is a Christ Embassy pastor and one of the highest givers in the church. Let he/she carry the foolishness to the religion section. |

4tunebest: Spiritual analysis led me to buy UCAP @ 3.00, Nahco @ 2.20, UPDC Reit @ 2.87, Access at 8.00, Zenith @ 11.00 and six other stocks during COVID (when I entered into the stock market newly) whose prices have skyrocketed @ multiples of the BEP as at today. Unfortunately, I didnt know the Holy Spirit is interested in my finances, so I wasn't aware He was the one leading me to buy those stocks at that time, cos i was new in the game (I allow Him to lead me in other areas of my life, but I was ignorant to the fact that He was also interested in my finances). Result: I sold majority at about 100% profit, not realizing the Lord saw my faithfulness in sacrificial giving to His work and He wanted to reward me massively beyond my wildest expectations. Anyway I have learnt my lessons.
Less than two weeks ago, the same Spirit working through Christ led me to some stocks which I accumulated massively because I knew it was only a matter of time if I could wait it out and be patient enough. Interestingly, majority of these stocks are not what I would have gone for naturally, although they are fundamental, I just didnt fancy them. I didn't know that a massive bull was lurking around the corner. Thank God I yielded. In about 10 days, I have made over 1M/day (of course considering the capital invested). I have made in 10 days, my monthly salary of several months, and still counting because the bull keeps getting stronger. As a matter of fact, the bull just started this morning for one of the stocks: Eterna which I accumulated greedily @ 15.50 BEP, and few of the stocks are yet to proceed on their own bull. I monitor the stocks bumper to bumper so I am on standby to hit the "sell button" when necessary.
What a way to start the year. Knowing Christ is the best thing that has ever happened to me. I didnt look like it during my childhood days, I was a dunce and not smart at all. When I gave my life to Christ, everything changed. My story changed. People that looked down on me are now looking up to me. Without me, major decisions cant be taken by thesame people who told me that I could never amount to anything in life and that I was going to serve my siblings.
If you haven't yielded completely to Christ, you are missing a lot irrespective of whatever great things you have achieved. You can achieve more. I also want to thank everyone who spend quality time to give investment advise on this platform. The Lord will reward you massively. Please keep up the good work Please stop this, what do you mean my spiritual analysis made you buy this and that!!!! Most of you are sick in this country...instead of appreciating the brains here that God gave the wisdom to provide free analysis, you are talking nonsense! |

aj8: May be it’s best to wait till the Q4 results since it’s for the long term. We are like in injury time. Really not the best time to accumulate. Aim must always be to buy at a discount of value or at worst at value. The aim of DD is to improve vision. The way people queued up today...Wema may likely overtake fidelity and FCMB in the Short term. |

Yoast: Taking profit from just a single day of full bid after several months of price consolidation? We easily forget that DS/NS were not part of the earlier bull. Take what you can take my brother with Index at historical highs 😁😁😁 I have exited some major positions and even removed the money from my stock brokers account and invested into property. What is left is for dividend in a worst case scenario and monkey hunting...like me chasing WEMA |

We are now entering a period of controlled dumping...the Red may be cripping in little by little. But I think everyone that keyed in on time has had a good run. Secure what you can and leave some for long term.
Inbetween, I could only get 300,000 units of Wema, tomorrow we go again. |

crownprince2017: Nobody is expecting a perfect system but they can't be worse as well, they must have some standard interms of service delivery that will differentiate them from others who charge less, I believed we are paying more for better services and not for popularity.
There is huge difference between popularity and quality.
Someone should tell me how to move from them abeg. No need to overflog this issue. Just pick a new broker and visit or reach out to them via email to open an account. Tell them you want to move your portfolio from Meristem, they would give forms to fill and you may possibly be required to write a letter authorizing that. Your new broker knows what to do. |

crownprince2017: The way people come here to defend Meristem despite their clear inefficiency called for attention, I couldn't use any of their interface since yesterday, the same thing could continue today and some people here will still defend them despite their big commissions and lack of value for money to justify the commissions being charged. Sometimes, I wonder if this people understand the meaning of time value of money, imagined you just sent them money to carryout a trade and suddenly the platform stopped working for complete trading days.
I believed if you are charging more than other brokerage company, you should be more efficient than other ones that charge less but the reverse is the case and their marketers will come and defend them.
If you send them money on a normal day to credit your wallet, you will not spend less than two hrs before getting the money in your trading wallet, very unreliable people, big for nothing.
If you talk now, they will say they have billions worth of structure in ikoyi, abeg sey na big building the customers wan chop abi quality services.
Pls someone should tell me how to move my portfolio from them, this people are just over hyped company in my opinion. I have been using Meristem for years now and have not had issues with them. They resond to my emails promptly, so you would not expect us to say otherwise. Before the recent migration to the new trading interface, i have never had an issue trading onlne. Infact with the issue yesterday due to the migration, all I did was send an email with a price and they sold yesterday. If the platform did not work yesterday, it is understandable due to technical issues, and did you explore the option of sending an email. Sometimes, I send an email and if i have delayed response, I call the CS and it gets attended to immediately. If you feel unsatisfied with their services its okay to move to another broker. I was also once trading with Morgan Capital and moved to Meristem. The day I feel unsatisfied with them, I will port. Its your money and you deserve the best services you can get. |

emmanuelewumi: Be careful. Transcorp hotel made a revenue of N31 billion in 2022, assuming Transcorp will make a revenue of N50 billion in 2023.
At a market capitalization of N1 Trillion, that is at a multiple of 20 compared to the revenue which is on the high side
Even BUA foods at the current price should have a market capitalization/ revenue of 10 which is high..
Price/Sale ratio of 3 and below is better depending on the industry the maximum should be 5.
At a Price/Sale ratio of 20 for Transcorp hotel, it will take 20 years for payback assuming all the revenue was used to buy the company. The current PE of Transcorp hotel should be more than 50.
Enjoy the ride but don't be caught unprepared.
It is advisable to invest with figures Thanks Oga Emma, I not invested in Transcorp hotel, just saw the news on Nairametrics. I am even planning to take out my capital from Transcorp at this point and let the profit run. The rally on Transcorp & hotel has been great! |
