Guys, I guess its best we purchase the items with our money and ensure we have them in our custody before collecting money from clients because logistics for shipping items is not as easy as you think and bugging @lagtech on status of items being expected even after his clarification on how the shipment is handled would only keep your health status at risk (because of too much thinking and disturbance from your clients). No ill-feelings and neither do I know @lagtech, but my experience over the years on online purchases have shown me that shipment of items most times does not work out the way the shipper/receiver expects from the shipment company. Moreover, its better to communicate with the client by just showing him pictures of what to expect, telling him/her that the payment should be made available once the item is in your (sellers') hands. @lagtech , I would like to suggest that your own items being sold should be made available in Nigeria so that once we make payment we pick up immediately while you face the logistics for other areas of the business (that's clients making payments to e-commerce site for specific items). Because when we see the items on your website, and interested in buying immediately, one gets surprised to hear that the items are still in the USA and when payment is made, delayed logistics leads to waiting by buyers who desperately needs those items immediately. Thanks and this is just my ideas (once again, #nohardfeelings for anyone please) |

tonididdy: first thing first scan your proposed location thoroughly for competition, youth strength and business. Thanks @tonididdy, the first and second points are in check already but your third point is where I need more details as regards: 1. Is it DSTV that is needed or another decoder? 2. What's the monthly subscription rate? 3. I intend dedicating 3 TVs for the football viewing and the other TVs for games, how do I get different matches on the 3 screens same day because some weekends would have different games at same time going on but different stations. Thanks as I anticipate your response. |
Guys, I am planning to set-up a viewing centre but a novice in this business and I would appreciate if the gurus in this forum can direct me on the right approach to ensure a succesful set-up of this business here in Lagos. EbuGeneral: The should be declared wanted, there pictures released. They are enemies to the public just like Patrick Sawyer and BH nodullin: Put their pix out there in the public and place a bounty on their head! Trust us... We'll find them.you guys just read my mind, moreso, if the dead nurse was in contact with her family before she was tested positive. This thing we are joking about is a very serious issue o. Yesterday I was discussing on the rate at which public buses are being boarded and what if an ordinary man on the street contacts this virus,......hmmm,one should wonder what would happen. |
femmy2010: "African Time" means till evening.Interestingly, I sent him a stinker SMS and he immediately called me and opened up saying that he was facing a problem rectifying some typographical error noticed on the vehicle documents as against what is seen on the vehicle. Although that he was through with the last stage and he is in the vehicle at that moment driving it out of the terminal but incidentally he can't drive down to my house because he needs to get back to continue other jobs at the terminal.I replied telling him "no problem,I am on my way to your house now". I got to his house this evening and the vehicle was parked there with all the items intact. We got talking and I poured out my dissatisfaction in his action in as much as all the blame was not on only him but to be shared with the shipper('cos of the error on the document).I am only disappointed because he did not come out plain to me from the beginning and despite my explanation to him as to why I need the vehicle out on-time because of the conversion and onward movement to the East for an important occassion on the 18th of this month. Bottomline, all suspicion would have been avoided if he was plain with his challenges from the onset, regardless of the fact that I have already paid him his complete charges. But he kept giving assurances that he was taking control of the process and yet I am not seeing the vehicle as at when promised until today. Who knows,if I had not sent the stinker SMS or insisted on going to his house, maybe it would have been another tale. Next stage now is to face the mechanic that would change the dashboard to LHD......may God see me through,Amen. Thanks @femmy,looking forward to doing business with you. |
femmy2010: Just be patient till he brings out your vehicle after wich you should RUN RUN RUN from patronizing him again. Its almost 2:30pm and yet to hear from him. I am still waiting. |
So i am seeking advice from honest nairalanders ..Please help out.
