Celebrities / Re: Korra Obidi Attacked With A Knife & Acid By A Lady During A Live Stream Session by STENON(f): 8:20am On Apr 12
I don't believe this was real!!! She is always a drama queen to get more views for her newly released songs.
She would always bring something up against her ex husband , like school fees, court and all that, this drama always tend to be tend to be few days to the release of her new music !!!
Her New song would be released today but there is nothing to fight the husband for again to get more views and she decided to fake her acid and knife attack. SMH for this bad wagon !!!

Whatisurproblem:
Good day everyone, I need your opinion on this matter.

I've been dating this lady for like 4months now. Anytimee I try to visit her, she will only come to a junction for us to meet. I requested to know where she lives and also for me to know her people, she always decline the request claiming she's staying with someone not her relative, at a point I asked if she's a ghost 👻 which she deny.

The problem now is she suddenly came to my house with a pregnancy test strip, she carried out test in my present and the results came out that she's truly pregnant.

I scheduled for the following day to take her to hospital, she left my house that day and never return, anytime I call her on phone, she will not respond to come and see me, and I don't know where to locate her. I threatened her that if she refused to show up that I won't take responsibility for the pregnancy, she blatantly told me she will keep the pregnancy and take care of it by herself.

I began to worry if this is a baby factory things or she just used me to get pregnant and run or what is her mission?

Sorry bros but that part got me laughing, I have never read something like that before from a Man cheesy

Yes. But this may not be a good idea as the airport is not too clean. Toilets and all that. Also there is nothing to keep you busy. My advice is stay home/hotel till 4am (depending on where you stay). Lagos is almost a 24hr city so you should be fine leaving home 4am or even 3am. That airport is not where you want to pass the night. Sometimes getting chair to seat is even an issue.
They are actually coming from Osun state a day before. Thanks, I would start checking for Hotels nearby now wink

They are just jokers!! UK universities would start shutting down once they don't make money from international students again, ordinary covid period, so many lecturers were sacked because they could not afford to pay their salary sad

Nairaland / General / Re: Help On The Career Path To Choose by STENON(f): 11:07pm On Apr 12, 2023
Peacelois:
Good evening everyone.

Please I want people of vast knowledge about career to help me make a proper decision.

I am am HND holder with Upper Credit class in Computer science.
I graduated over ten years ago.

After graduation, I worked as an office administrator / IT for over 5years.

Got married, resigned and have 5 years of employment gap.

I started a teaching job as an ICT teacher over 2 years ago.
Now,
I wish to add more qualifications to my career.

I have these options but confused on the best career path:

1. Do an HND to BSC top up in any of the Nigerian university and after for MSc thereafter.
This might take up to 2years to complete.

2. Do a PGD in Education at NOUN since I've been teaching for over two years.

3. Apply for PGCE(post graduate certificate in education) UK to be a trained teacher
Or
4. seek for HND to MSC admission in UK.

Sorry for the long post
Thank you all

Hi, if you are still interested in Teaching , don't resign from your job, try direct entry route with your HND to B Ed or BSc Ed in Nigeria or try to apply for PGDE instead of PGCE with your HND in the UK ( it is 50/50 chance for this).

You are good to go. Don't listen to those preaching for you to wait until you are 27 -30,
Start your life early and enjoy life the best, imaging having your first child at 25 and You would be 50 years old when he is 25,
Do you want your child to be 25 years old when you are 70?
Start your family early and enjoy life the most ,but please marry a graduate or working class lady.

Romance / Re: Have You Seen Any Nairalander Face To Face Before? by STENON(f): 8:01am On Mar 06, 2023
ravensckar:
Back then in the University, I met a nairalander with the username Toyde. In our NYSC camp, I connected with a few others who were really nice guys. After my NYSC, I met Deji, Mr. Oyenekan, Miss Patricia, etc. All of whom I'm still tight with till date.

Several other monikers that I've had interactions or transactions with; Avicky, Stenon, initialize, Bobby, etc.

In all, nairaland is a great forum. It's not as faceless as some of you may think. Hence, I pity all those whose only mission here is to cause mischief and engage in tribal wars. They are missing out on the good things of life. cheesy cheesy

PS- I once worked for a former special adviser to Governor Ambode who singled me out because of my post here on Nairaland. She said the moment she heard those words, she knew immediately that I must be a nairalander. Since that day, son of man has become careful of what he posts here on nairaland. It's not as faceless as I thought. cheesy cheesy
I was thinking we met in Person at another nairalander's wedding? If not, we must have had a good communication on WhatsApp than in real life cheesy. I hail you my Boss !!! You are always full of Knowledge (Ogbon ati Imoye Agba) wink
