You really don't know how the military work....the air force, won't leave the rescue of their pilot in the hands of AFSF, when they have well trained specialists for just this eventuality.any afsf, sent would just probably be playing defense for the main team doing the work, and the air force still has a team trained for this, and would reduce the logistical burden needed to rescue the pilot.
If the pilots fly with their phones, I would expect them been tracked with that, though network might be bad...... if they have a map, i would say they are in the outskirts of settlements in that area, not even inside settlements and I hope they have water before food, I wouldn't be expecting them to be lingering around a crash site, where boko haram would be on top in search of them and prices to use as propanganda.......the best minds to track them, are their pilot buddies and loved ones, that knows the way the pilots thinks and the decisions they make in critical situations.
