Five smart Nigerian electrical electronic engineers from Akwa Ibom State, Jones Joseph Bassey, Ekemini Abner, Ekpo Esua Ekpo, Gabriel Umoh and Faith okon, have completed the designing, fabrication, production and testing of an unmanned aerial vehicle (drone).According to them,it was a daunting task.They failed many times, discouraged because of high cost of components importation and frustrated because most items were not found in Nigerian market.

A police officer attached to Okwelle Police Station, Onuimo L.G.A shot and killed a young tipper conductor this morning over N100.The incident created a scene as people gathered and nearly lynched the officer.

This afternoon, I sat at the entrance of the A&E Ward of the Benue State University Teaching hospital. Then a bus drove in with  Aondofa Ufa'ave (in the picture here with his mother and other relations) from Imon, Adudu in Obi Local Government of Nasarawa state. He was  brought in, writhing in pains. His crime? He's Tiv and the Fulani won't allow him bath in a stream where he and his friend had gone to take a bath. The duo were macheted and left to bleed to death. His treatment was being compromised at a local clinic so had to be rushed to the BSUTH. This is what the Inspector General of Police says it's Communal clashes'

His Excellency Nyesom Ezenwo Wike CON GSSRS is presently in Makurdi,Benue state on a condolence and solidarity visit to the Government and people of the state.

Benue State has recently been in the news for attacks by Fulani herdsmen on the people of the state.On the visit with Governor Wike are Sir Celestine Omehia, Senator George Thompson Sekibo,Sir Abiye Sekibo, Chief OCJ SAN, Chief Ferdinard Anabraba, Senator Olaka Nwogu, Hon Tammy Danagogo and others.



Governor Wike and his delegation were led by the Governor of Benue State to the grave site of the fallen heroes, where prayers were offered for the repose of their souls and on ending the blood shedding in Nigeria.

According to a report shared by an online user, Nnaji Nkiru, a graduate of Parasitology and Entomology, from the Prestigious University, Nnamdi Azikiwe University (Unizik) got an acid bathe through a mistaken identity.She has undergone series of surgeries but needs more especially in the neck and ear regions.She needs at least N5m for the surgery.


Her friend said she exhausted all her monies and needs financial assistance.However she did not mention who poured her the acid.

Four armed robbers were shot dead today in Sapele by police officers.According to report,the robbers were robbing at some point at Amagiya by Orhiaki when police stormed the scene.During shootout with police,2 died on the spot while 2 others got seriously injured.The injured ones were rushed to hospital but later died in the hospital.During interrogation,they confessed that they are Sapele boys.According to them,their friends always come from Jesse to join them in their operations.

'It's all about phone calls from Odedegho community in Ughelli, Ughelli North LGA of Delta State last night because of these same people called Fulanis who always cause insecurity all over the Country because they own all the security agencies.

According to a reliable source from Odedegho, at about 02:00pm, three Fulanis were seen at the roadside of Odedegho as a responsible people. And at about 07:00pm, they already turned hoodlums causing havoc on the roadside.

They attacked the guy whose face carries bandage. They injured him and blinded one of his eyes while a woman and her daughter ran away to raise alarm in the community when the young man was being attacked. It was because the young man intersected them that's why they couldn't attack the woman and her daughter.

And when the information got to the community, they all mobilized and entered the Bush searching for them. They were seen but they took on their heels and only one was caught which is the one sitting, looking innocent. That's how they always look. Innocent! They always look innocent but, they're devil incarnate.

But guess what! Since last night till now, the Nigerian police are yet to respond after several phone calls from the community. What a country?'

Here are the seven (7) charred bodies of the Hausa- Fulani passengers intercepted while travelling in a bus, killed and burnt beyond recognition by the Tiv mob in Gboko motor park, Benue state, yesterday.

All the charred bodies have been buried this morning in Gboko according to Islamic rites.The passengers were heading to Yola capital, Adamawa state.

My heart is bleeding profusely as fulani herdsmen is currently taking reprisals attacks bearly after 24 hours of Tiv militias killed 73 cows and kidnapped 2 at Kadarko, Keana LGA of Nasarawa state neighbouring Benue state  yesterday.

Reportedly the murderous Tiv militias numbering over 1000 invaded the Fulani communities across Kadarko mid night and unleashed mayhem by sporadic guns shots killings cattle and people.

A PRIMARY SCHOOL HEADMASTER AMONG THE OVER 11 TIV PEOPLE KILLED BY FULANI HERDSMEN AT KADARIKO TODAY.

Fulani herdsmen attacked the Tiv people living in Kadariko in the early hours of today and killed 11.
One of those murdered in the attack is Mr Augustine Yaagee,a headmaster of LGEA  Primary school Umalai, Kadariko, Keana Local Govt,Nasarawa State.

The attack which lasted for hours started from 1am.Mr Augustine was shot straight on the head.His remains have been deposited at  General Hospital,North Bank Makurdi.

His brother,Hon Matyondo John,claimed the body and conveyed the corpse to the mortuary.He described the attack as evil committed against his family by the herdsmen.

An online who visited the mortuary said...

'While I was at the mortuary, my heart was bleeding blood especially when I saw the wife and the two little children crying for their husband and dad respectively that was then been prepared by the mortuary attendant.

My cry is to the world to know that what is been said about herdsmen attack on the Benue nation is not fabrications, the killings are real, and the Federal govt has not done enough to address the situation.

I also want to call for the arrest of the Miyetti Allah leadership by the federal Government to stop this killings.

Since we have refuse to give up our land, we don't have a choice but to protect our land and our lives, so this is the time to act.

RIP Mr Augustine yaagee and all souls of the departed'.
