constancefriday: The problem with some of my fellow Freedom fighters is that they politicize their freedom fighting. Once a pure representation of the voice of the People or the masses gets colored with some political undertones or overtones, it exposes the freedom fighter to lopsided views of his/her motives of fighting. Could it be self centered? (is he/she fighting for his/her belly or bank accounts?) Or Could it be Politically motivated? (is he/she directly or indirectly campaigning for the incumbent or opposing political party?) Freedom Fighting or campaigns for the welfare of the masses of a nation should just be purely what it is: A clamour for the respectful delivery of the dues of the citizens of a country and citizens of the world. There are People who wouldn't do the due except the fighters and protesters slap a protest on them. As a Human Rights activists there's absolutely nothing political about my participation in protests for the masses, no matter which political group is the incumbent party in political leadership. However that doesn't mean i'll turn a blind eye to some things that are not right, right now. The blood-shed in various parts of the country (in places like Benue, Taraba, Kaduna, Zamfara States etc), the fact that almost 200+ Schoolgirls both from Chibok and Dapchi in North-Eastern Nigeria are still missing and are yet to be re-united with their families, plus many more. All these have nothing to do with politics, they are plain issues of humanitarian crisis, and need to be addressed responsibly by the government on seat. Did you know Naira Marley for example has a networth of at least $500k and he hopes to double that figure in the nearest future? Those who have are looking for more. Think clearly, and see things clearly. In about a decade or more those who follow these celebrities blindly will become unemployed, frustrated, broke, poor, in one terrible life crisis or the other while the so called stars they follow smile to the bank with "more royalties". Think twice, think more, think.and grow rich. Dear Marlians read and study your books. (Also study the Bible, get closer to God). Don't throw your future away.

He must have tried to let People know, but no one listened, very few cared and according to him, they added extra days to his stay here. Then i realise that adding extra days was only Extending his silent suffering and pain, rather that do that the goal should've been to take that thought away from the core of his thoughts, but it was there until.he made up his mind. To Self Destruct. Let us take issues of depression and suicide amongst us more seriously than we presently do. Suicide is a mindset, if thoughts of ending it all just for the heck of it keeps recycling in the subconscious mind (psyche/heart) of a person, it could grow and transfer to the conscious mind (cerebral cortex) and then when it matures via the CNS such a fellow will boldly carry out the act of self snuffing (aka Suicide). We tend to look at being suicidal with insensitivity and tactlessness, "eh go and kill yourself na" , "person wey don die don die" and "wetin dey worry you gan sef, na only you get problem, all of us get issue" plus several and many other careless and insensitive remarks we often make thinking a person is "Strong and aggresive enough to bear them" What if your own child is involved? Do we think that way? These Young folks who snuffed themselves last week were leading life like normal but just thought it better to end it all. And like i said it's a mere thought which the words of GOD can uproot because they're sownin their minds and heart by Satan. Speak the word of GOD to someone today and be sincere with it as you do. You may not know whose life you're saving. I remember during my active days as a Youth Leader in TREM Church, i met one Sister after an evening service (very beautiful she was indeed) and while chatting with her i began instinctively (Holy Spirit led instincts) to quote parts of the scripture to her e.g Jeremiah 29:11, 32:27, etc etc. Then just that moment she smiled (that was the first time i saw her smile since she joined us in the TREM assembly i was active in) and then she said "I wanted to do something (very bad i presume) but because of these words i've completely changed my mind, i'll no longer do it, i feel much better now" Many folks are in Church with dying souls or dead souls, and some Pastors don't know how they make matters worse, when they keep shouting "make money, make money, get rich all you poor people amongst us or die trying, our pastors have turned our Church sermons to 50 Cent's sold out concerts while a soul is waiting for just one true Godly Holy Spirit inspired Word to jerk it up and out of black waters by unplanting the seeds of the Devil tormenting it. May the Souls of the Music Minister at Abuja, the UNN undergraduate and other great people across the country and abroad who couldn't bear it any more and decided to self snuff rest in peace In Jesus name.

constancefriday: It's no news that most communities within these Localities have noticable high rates and spate of Crime, Cultism and Tyrannous activities without adequate Checks even by the Police. Frankly and Truthfully speaking, the amount of Policemen and mobile Police operatives within the region are not sufficient enough to curb the crime within the region. An Average Criminal or Cultist in Lekki, Ibeju Lekki or Epe isn't afraid of the Police, this has to change if Crime is going to reduce remarkably in this part of Lagos city. Over the past 365 days alone lots of lives were lost to Crime, Cult Clashes and other petty criminal actions within these areas mentioned. A heavier Military presence can turn things around in these parts of Lagos, because we can't control crime successfully in our Country if criminals are not afraid of Policemen or afraid of the consequences of breaking the law. It's up to the Federal and State Government to decide, as i speak, Lekki Peninsula ranks very high in crime rate within Lagos.

There's no doubt that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is pretty much influential in the South East, IPOB, ESN etc has become the offspring of the rise in influence of MNK. However the latest tangentials has brought questions to the minds of Folks who see far from the immediate present.
*How is the Sit at home campaign developing the South East?
*Killing of notable or random taegetted People by unknown gunmen? When did that become a norm in the South East?
*Burning and destruction of Properties; is that the best way to portray a movement that's supposed to be perceived as Civil?
*How about a referendum? Has that option been trashed and replaced with tactless violence?

When i mention the word "Gamble" the first thing that comes to the mind of many are the multiple Sporting Bet shops across the city, or poker games and so on.
But i define "a gamble" as anything you embark upon in which you're not at least 50% sure it will work.
Many Religious minded people will label this as a wet blanket to faith, but it is very necessary to have a healthy dose of reality mixed with your faith.
Reality is part of the "Work" that the Scriptures talk about in James 2:26
Questions like: What kind of terrain am I operating in? What are the pros and con's of operations in that terrain? etc etc These and more are necessary when you venture out for new accolades.
Whatever you do, don't gamble. Get your maths right.

Texts: Luke 11:42, Matthew 23:23, 1 Samuel 15:22-23
What things are more important to God than paying your Tithes regularly without failing?
The benefits of paying your Tithes are numerous, but the truth is; how many dollars or pounds you toss into the Church treasury are not more important to God than these things about to be talked/taught about.
"Tithe Payment" without failure is not the most important aspect of being a real born again Christian.
In Luke 11:42 and Matthew 23:23 Jesus Christ aggressively attacked the Pharisees, Scribes, Saducees, so called teachers of the law etc as Jesus mentioned "The other things that really matter much much more than paying tithes". What are those things? In the next segments of this message, we'll talk about these other things that matter a whole lot more than mere " Tithe paying " which isn't unimportant anyways.
1. Obedience to God's Commanents: God releases blessings to People who obey him, and releases curses to those who disobey him. Paying your Tithes without failure yet disobeying God's Commandments is like trying to run your gasoline fueled car with water instead. It doesn't work. God doesn't appreciate sacrifices above an express obedience of his commandments. God doesn't value the highest tithe payers on earth much more than he values those who strive to keep and obey his every commands and keep pleasing him close and inseparable from their hearts. Read 1 Samuel 15:22-23
2. Having a Pure Heart: Matthew 5:8 says "Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God". Anyone with a heart full of belligerence and truculence can stroll into your Church and toss a bundle/stack of Benjamins into the offering box and then bark obscenities at the officiating Clergyman or in extreme cases of no reverence or fear of what/whom they're dealing with bark obscenities at God. Such kind of offerings or financial gifts disgust and offend God. God isn't moved by the quantity of your offerings, God is moved by the quality of your offerings. The offering that has quality and pleases God is the one given with a cheerful and grateful heart. In Genesis 4 God didn't accept Cain's offering because it lacked quality though the quantity was much.
3. Genuine Love for God's Creations/Creatures: God doesn't expect you to love him but destroy his creations. I believe that this is the reason why he's installed mechanisms in nature that makes those who neglect the important roles his creations play in the global ecosystem regret doing so. Issues such as global warming, desert encroachment, water table leaching, glacial meltdown, green house emissions etc are all retributions that indicate that God doesn't take the destruction of natural ecosystems lightly.
4 . Living in love and Peace with your Neighbors: People who make Peace or pursue peace with all men shall be called the Sons of God. God loves it if all you have to give are vegetables but with genuine love. Read Matthew 22:36-40
5. Preaching and Living the lifestyle of Truth: God wants you to establish his Kingdom here on Earth on a foundation of Truth. Trying to establish God's Kingdom on a platform of lies is like trying to lay down the foundations for a five star estate in the middle of the ocean. Hmm, that seems quite possible! Matthew 18:18
6. Honesty, Genuineness and Sincerity: God is particularly interested in your secret lives and secret sins. What he sees in the secret [/color], he rewards in the open. Read Matthew 6:8b Hiding your sins from God thinking you could outsmart God is as dumb as what a dumb person would see and call "very dumb." Read Proverbs 28:13, Isaiah 6:5-6
7. Uncompromised/Uncorrupted Worship: God is a Spirit and those who worship him must worship him in Spirit and in Truth not in flesh. There's no indirect way to worship God. Any so called second party worship of God is pure idolatry and it pisses God off. If you sow in flesh you'll only reap corruption. Q: What is Corrupted Worship? A: Corrupted worship is the kind of worship done openly and half heartedly primarily with the intents of drawing the attention and applause of men rather than the acceptance or approval of God. Beloved, in front of everyone here, I will eradicate poverty from your life pray for God not to punish me .. bla bla bla ... Na dem be dat, shine ya eyes.
8. Having Compassion for Lost Souls: God does not desire that the sinful person should perish but that they should turn from their sins and begin to walk in righteousness. He expects us to put in much importance to searching and seeking for lost souls much more than we harp on the strings of money, donations, offerings and of course our celebrity topic "Tithe" Read Ezekiel 33:1-33
9. Having Eternity in Perspective: Being the richest Christian that ever lived, isn't more important than being amongst the number when the Saints are marching in. Is your name, surname and middle name in the book of life? If you made God smile above 50% of your time here on earth, your nick name will also be included.
10 . Not neglecting the poor and needy: If you oppress the poor and deprive them of justice, God takes it personal to come for your behind. On the positive flip side, if you take care of the poor and needy and make sure they smile, God smiles back at you along with them.
11. Rendering/Delivering Justice to the oppressed, and to those denied or deprived of Justice: Of what use are your fat envelopes and tithes when you're the harbinger of injustice to those who need it most? Injustice causes the love of many to wax cold. If you're Preaching the Gospel and People sigh, hiss and close their ears, injustice may be lurking in your closets. Deal with it. Read Matthew 24:12
12. The Establishment of God's Kingdom here on Earth as it is in Heaven: God wants you to do more than just be a money bag or financial pillar in your nearby Church, he wants you to be a channel or annex of establishment of his Kingdom here on Earth as it is in Heaven.
13. Be Humble before God: God is not your dog that you toss stacks at where you've kept him in the boot of your car. Many Folks treat God as if God is their dog. I say this because I've encountered such People. May God forgive and deliver them. The wiser a man or woman becomes the more he/she knows that being humble before God is the key that opens the gateway to upliftment and prosperity.
