Holla

Hello nysot,

hope ur doing well.

I saw this post and checked from August last year till now and I must say, I'm impressed by your sheet doggedness and no-holds-barred approach to your business.

I'm Steven, a small business marketing consultant and strategist based in Lagos and I have some suggestions to help you improve on this:

First, this needs a massive credibility booster. Let me explain...

I believe from August last year till now, you must have gotten some clients for your service...Now what you do is take pictures of yourself and your "happy" clients - after successfully working with/for them - you'll need their permission for this...

You should also get their names, phone numbers and website address (this is optional)

You then post their pictures and contact details here and caption every single one stating what you did, and other significant information.

You post this on the PAGE 1 of this post.. .here's how!

Nairaland allows you to modify your posts so you edit some comments and replace them with the pictures...make sure its one picture (with caption, contact, etc)
per comment, then you spread them over the thread.

Know that pictures of your clients are not the only thing you can post here. You can also put up pictures of their companies.

The places you visit, some unexpected things that happened (maybe obstacles to completing the service and how you overcame them)

The next thing you need to know is nairaland is not a blog, its an online community where anybody can put up a post in the blink of an eye...so naturally you'll have competition.

Many people have a lot to do online and 90% of them read just the first page of any thread before jumping to the next one.

This is why I emphasized on putting the extra details in the first page, it allows people to save their valuable time while building a solid reputation for you.

Another thing I noticed is your continuous comments, I'm assuming you do this to keep the thread alive and trending so new people have access to it.

This is good but I advise you take a look at your options...

Your topic was created in the "Adverts" section and it has over 10,000 views.

Now pause for a moment and imagine what that would look like if your thread was created in the "Business" section of nairaland - Yes, where business men and women go to look for solutions to their business problems and ideas to grow and improve on their businesses.

This is possible and you should create a post there.

I remember creating one post for a friend 5 years ago that was a big help in getting his business to move forward.

Then, if you have made some money, you should talk to the admins and find out cost of putting a sponsored post on nairaland's homepage.

Here you are guaranteed of over 100k - 250k Nigerians reading your post (depending on title and position)

Not to talk of the new floods of clients you would be getting...and the money too.

Though I have to add that you shouldn't use this option if you're not ready to expand your business service.

So nysot, that's what I have for you this wonderful evening, I really do hope you make the best use of it.

I still have lots of strategies you can use in moving your small business forward.

If you're interested, call or whatsapp me on 09038801777.

Have a great day and God bless you!

Steven

Business To Business / This Foolish Oyo Man Started A New Business And Made Profit Of ₦42,520 In 5 Days by stev1e(m): 8:35pm On May 04, 2016
"He Is a big idiot... a very foolish man, jobless mumu, shameless fool. Na
only for food he dey get sense. no be him mates dey drive beta car. wetin
make me marry am sef? Nonsense"

By the time Mrs Atinuke finished narrating their family issues to her Aunty,
Mama Janet turned around to look at him with such complete and utter
PITY
.

Mr Lanre covered his face in shame...

What exactly had he done to deserve this treatment from the bone of his
bone and flesh of his flesh?

The one and only true love of his life?

The one he exchanged such loving marital vows with and had faithfully and
sincerely honoured them for the past seven years?

The woman who had given him three lovely children and swore to be by
his side for better for worse till death do them part?

How had things gone so wrong?

Let me start from the beginning...

Mr Lanre was your average Nigerian man who graduated from the University
of Ibadan with first class in mechanical engineering and was part of the lucky
few who got employment with one of the top federal I.T firms in Nigeria.

He was also blessed with a darling wife...the mother of three wonderful
children he loved so dearly.

One Thursday morning, Mr Adeola went to work as he had done for the past
5 years and immediately he arrived, he had this gut feeling that something
was strange.

Some of the office work stations were vacant and he knew a few of the people
who worked in those places...they had never missed a day of work all their lives.

As if to confirm his suspicion, 20 minutes later he was urgently summoned to
the office of his ''oga at the top''.

On getting there his employer explained to him that his company was not
meeting up to its expected monthly quota and decided to downsize to save costs.

Then his boss dropped the bombshell...

"Mr Lanre, you have been a solid employee but we simply have to cut staffing.
This is really hard for me, if there is anything I can do for you, just let me know..."

Then his employer handed him the much dreaded white envelope.

His world came crashing down in a matter of seconds...

He simply thanked his boss, packed his belongings and walked out of the
building, never to step a foot in there again.

What just happened?

His mind was still in shock...

All the countless hours of sweat and blood he had poured into the company
had gone down the drain.

He had heard of similar cases happening to other people, read about it on
the newspapers and saw it on the television news.

He even witnessed a firsthand experience when his dear cousin was sacked
from her job of 8 years and he silently prayed to never experience it.

Unfortunately he was not spared...

After dinner, he mustered courage and told his wife he was back in the labour
market.

"ehn, darling what did you just say?"

She consoled him and assured him that he would soon land himself a better job

And so it begun...

Armed with his carefully written CV and application letter, he scoured through
lots of newspapers and submitted his CV and application letter to different
companies in his field that had advertised vacant positions.

He even told his family friends and relations about his condition and some
promised him help which never came.

With the advise of a friend, he took his search to the internet and subscribed
to different jobs and career sites like jobberman, ngcareeers, w3jobs
and visiting different job forums that could help him get different openings all
over the country.

This gave him some openings and he was contacted for some interviews.

Having done serious research on the company that contacted him, he had
dressed in his best suit and struggled through the terrible traffic just to be
very early for the interview where he did very well and was praised by the
interviewers who promised him the job.

He got home happy and told his wife he had been successful and hoped to
get a call from the company on when he would start his new job.

All this while, it was his wife, Mrs Atinuke who had been taking care of their
family and the three children.

She earned much less than his previous salary and she had to put in many
extra hours in hope of receiving bonuses just to cope and prayed God her
husband get the job.

Two weeks passed and still no call, no mail, no sms from the company.

Mr Lanre was beginning to get worried so he went to their office the next
morning to sort out the problem but instead he got bad news.

The job the company promised him was given to another man...one who
was not even as qualified as himself for that position.

He left that office in tears and later discovered the new employee was a
close relative of the 'oga kpatakpata'.

His wife was not happy to hear this but encouraged him to keep on searching.
He then submitted his CV to some other companies and was hoping that the
result of the interviews will be good news.

On Easter Tuesday, as Mr Lanre was coming back from yet another failed
attempt to get a job at Apapa, he was thinking about what his life had become,
if there was any hope for the future...

Immediately, he started feeling a sharp pounding in his chest with beads of
sweat running down his face and he felt so sleepy that he did not notice the
BRT bus approaching...

If not for the timely intervention of a LASTMA official who pushed him out of
the road, he would have been crushed by the BRT bus.

He thanked the LASTMA official and went to get himself checked out at a nearby
hospital where he discovered that he had high blood pressure reading of 145.

The doctor said that he had a mild case of heart attack and if he does not reduce
the stress levels in his life, he may die.

This made Mr Lanre to stop physical job hunting for over 4 months to recover and
he continued sending his CV's to companies online and prayed for a miracle.

Meanwhile Mrs Atinuke was not happy that her husband was not helping the family
financially and after some time started seeing him as a nuisance and found fault
with almost every thing he did.

He tried to please her and did his best to avoid quarrels, even apologizing when
he was not at fault but she treated him like trash and he could not say a word
because he dared not bite the hand that was "feeding" him.

One Saturday afternoon on 17th May 2014, his in-laws came on one of those rare
visits to see how him and "their daughter" was doing.

If anyone had told him that was going to be one of his worst days on earth, he
would have run away from home.

Things were going fine until one of his ''big aunties'' said he had added weight
since she last saw him and said "life dey treat him well well".

That was the last straw as Mrs Atinuke bitterly narrated to her aunty, Mama Janet
everything that went on in their house...leading to her raining a lot of unprintable
insults on him.

This single event proved to be a great turning point of his life he swore it would
never repeat itself.

Two weeks later, As Mr Lanre was browsing a popular Nigerian forum, he discovered
a business that can make him some extra income.

He took a loan and started this very profitable business and it gave him over
14,000% in profit in his first month.

And in less than 16 months...

He was also able to move his family from their one-room apartment in
Surulere to a 2 bedroom duplex in Ikeja, Lagos.

He also transferred his children to a new school with better quality of education
where he paid 3X more than the fees of their former school.

He bought a Toyota Camry for his wife and an Acura jeep for himself within
3 years of doing the business.

How was Mr Lanre able to achieve all this?

He did it thanks to an incredible business idea that transformed his life, his
marriage and his finances.

I know it is hard to believe, but you just have to see it for yourself and
then decide.

Business To Business / Do You Want To Start A Business That Will Make You Good Profits In A Short Time? by stev1e(m): 9:01am On Apr 29, 2016
Are you thinking of starting up a business with some savings that
you made from your former place of work?

Or maybe you are a hardworking man or woman who has saved
an amount like ₦65,000, ₦100,000 or even ₦1,000,000 and want
to use it to start a business?

A legal business that will give you good returns on your investment
as soon as possible?

The truth is, there are many options for starting a business in
Nigeria today but most of them are hard. You can't ever turn a
profit and you end up losing money.

If you will like to start a business part time that makes you enough
money to take care of your bills without worrying, here are 3 things
you can do:

1. You can go to Lagos Business School and learn how to start a
business. The only problem is that it will cost you ₦1.4 million
naira and will take you 9 months to complete.

Do you have that amount of money and do you have that amount of time?

2. You could write JAMB and start a new Bachelor's degree program
to learn business. It will take you 4 years and a lot of hassle.

Do you want to do that?

3. You can read about an incredible business idea that i just found
that will give you up to 14,000% in profit every single month.

How do I know this?

Because I showed this business idea to my neighbour, Mr Lanre, a
31-year-old man from Abeokuta and he made exactly 14,000% profit
in less than 29 days of doing this business.

I know it is hard to believe, but you just have to see it for yourself
and then decide.

Education / Re: SSANU Threatens Universities Shutdown by stev1e(m): 11:03pm On Dec 19, 2015
ADEWUMIMichael:
The Senior Staff Association of Nigerian
Universities (SSANU) has threatened to shut
down all universities in the country over a
directive by the Federal Government for
universities to retrench workers of University Staff
Schools.
The National President of the association, Mr
Samson Ugwoke made the plan known at a news
conference in Abuja on Friday.

He said that failure by the government to honour
the agreement between it and SSANU on the
schools would compel the association to declare
an indefinite strike

“SSANU wishes to notify the Federal Government
of our intention to resume our national industrial
action on rejection of the directive to Vice-
Chancellors of Federal Universities, by the
National Salaries, income and wages Commission
to retrench over 2,000 workers.

“This set of people has been employed by the
universities councils for upward of decades and
productively contributing their quotas to the
development of the Nigerian education system, “
he said.

He said that the directive to retrench the workers
emanated from a circular written on behalf of the
minister of Education.

According to him, the implication of this directive
is that this category of workers from over 30
universities will be thrown into the unemployment
market.

Ugwoke said that University Staff Schools were
an integral part of the university system,
established as welfare and municipal services for
scholars and staff.

He said the children of university workers should
have access to subsidised elementary education
and that education should be considered a matter
of right and not favour.

Ugwoke said that the implementation of such
directive would be a gross violation and breach of
the 2009 agreement between the association and
government.

According to him, the agreement is that the
university shall bear full capital and recurrent cost
of University Staff Primary schools.

“Having engaged the government in prolonged
negotiations which culminated in the signing of
the 2009 agreement, we hereby declare that we
will defend the sanctity of every part of that
agreement, “ he said.

The association president said that if the motive
was to curb wastage in governance, then
government should beam its searchlight on other
areas of the sector.

Ugwoke said although it was the desire of the
association that industrial peace be maintained in
the universities, such situation should not be at
the cost of its members.

This one no good ooo

spunk10: making money on 2go?are u kidding me?are nigerians going to fall for this again.that's serious.this is a big scam.be warned.once again,be warned.

Hello friend, although I do not know you so I don't know what form of biz orientation you have gone through but please if you do not know something then keep quiet or hold your peace.

This system works, is working and will keep on working due to the changes I make on it constantly and some of my students who were able to get my full 2go kit can testify to this.

Just for the doubting people, See this testimony that I received some days from one Mr Inyang after he got my package and fully implemented the strategies that I taught in it.

Note that I got this message directly to my mobile phone.

This shows you that it works and if it can work for him, then it will also work for you.

I do not force anybody to go for my kit, that is a a decision you must make on your own but i know that your ability to succeed in anything lies completely in your own hands...

Now you can keep on raving that this is scam (which I strongly detest, search my name on Google for proof) but Those that will make it with this kit will keep on smiling.

Have a fulfiling day and God bless.
