in saner climes, soldiers are meant to protect and serve the citizens. Outside the barracks and military zones they can exercise their authority but not where civilians are. The meaning of soldier has been so misused in Nigeria

I grew up around military barracks and I went to a military school, I intentionally refused to join the Military cos u sign up to a code of conduct like Amy other serious profession and they are highly disciplined. Nobody cares about ur age or ego. u will always obey ur senior officer.

The worst u can do is report to a higher officer than the one ordering u and even the most senior officer will tell u to follow orders 1st unless he just want to help u.

It is a law in the military. And it maintains the peace.

DAT u grew up in d barracks does not.mean u know d work ethics costom n tradition.it is rong for a superior to assault his subordinate.I am very sure d army will look into her case

did I just hear you say people's father okay let me give you the break down. In as much as I condemn the attack on the soldiers but Nigeria soldiers are weak and cowards. How could one of the fleeing soldiers who supposed to make use of his training and fight when the boys came knocking decided to shoot a youth who was going his way? This is how the soldiers always start problem. Tomorrow now, the youths may decide to provide information to unknown gunmen on any fleeing soldiers and this may result to more deaths to the soldiers.

You ran away from the battle area only to kill someone going his way. What a coward soldier - always running away from the battle but likes killing innocent and unarmed people. Whoever kill an innocent person deliberately will die by God"s grace but the real brave soldiers who have not deliberately killed innocent and unarmed people will be protected by God and no harm will befall them on Jesus name. Amen!
