hinwazaka:I want to be punished by God with prosperous Nigeria. Your president a bastard? I pity your life. No cause for you. If u feel u are right for calling him a bastard then,u are safe. If u feel u are wrong then u are a cause to urself, family and generation. It's a game of conscience. ![]() |
tempest01:Try and make sense sometimes. If u grow up like this it will be a disaster. |
It has been with mixed feelings reading all the comments on this issue. In as much as I don't want to deviate from the topic. I think the man that wrote the other article on God fatherism nailed it. It is of real concern to me as a middle belter to see my Igbo and Yoruba brothers wail, argue and fight on the social media after the election. The truth is that both tribes are the most enlightened and socially exposed in this country. I state my disapointment at this juncture. It's rather sad cos this has affected the youth of the country. The sole reason for our irrelevance today in politics. We prefer to queue and idolize corrupt politicians. Well, there is still chance for us, cos I have hope. The hope I have is that if the smart ones amongst us ( either from North, south, East and west) come together to form parties that will take care of all the ills we come here to rant about; both social, economy, religious and tribal. We will be done ever arguing. I see smart youths willing to work together to make things work and put pressure on all this inequality perceived to be authorised by the old block. Where we have lost dreams for creating grandchildren of Arewas, OPCs, Biafrans, Creek boys etc. My success can show little. But we will get there as I have started the forum. I will reach you all soon. Let's come together as we use to watch Super Eagles, golden Eaglets, Falcons, falconets, tigress, Tigers. We criticize the players not as igbos Hausas and Yorubas and we celebrate them also not as the aforementioned either. God bless you all. One love. |
ichidodo:U can't shot him up. I think you the one that needs to be deleted from here before u develop incurables. Cos negativity of the heart is deadly toxin to your body. We just want to save ur life boy. U need to grow to understand shut up. Please make sure u reduce your shots to 5 ML |
kossyablaze:He is not far from the truth bros. I work with Govt, just that we don't say things like that. The most tolerant set of people are Hausas. Am not one anyway but that's just the truth. I liked the guys piece yesterday. Igbos need leaders that can move out of hate and intolerance. Goal getters like Emeka Ayouku. God help my Igbo Brodas. |
Missy89:I don't think you can read. So the resume states that he was working as? Please am a government official and this is good enough to go in my ministry. His wealth of experience in cooperation and integration is a diplomatic assignment , what do u want? Envoy to Sec Gen? Or UNESCo director? Big shame. Please stop playing mediocrity here. Saad for this generation. Go and read again. |
Ruggedman:In as much as I don't want to be so active on this blog, I had to register today after reading your comment. I have only one thing for you. Give your life to Christ and let him be your Lord and personal saviour. Please go and get help also, the hate is worst than Book Haram's. What do u want us Christians from the North to say. We have suffered lots that can't even be imagined, we have lost friends and brothers but we still pray for them. The worst we pray is for confusion and lack of peace in their midst. Not murder Bro. When I was still in the world people like you are called Mice. You talk to much to get yourself in trouble. Be warned. Don't let your emotion override your intelligence |
I shake my head for this country; Simple interpretation we cant cos of emotion; i will state again am not a partisan citizen; @Chukwudi pleeaaaase be objective abeg biko! Hmmmm! but the law is so clear on this. If PDP can just use 50(2) to sack him from office, i will be the first to congratulate them but otherwise it is going to be resulting to the act of Anarchy; OOPS! please don't quote Section 58 cos it states "stands to loose" because we all know thats a probability word that makes him vulnerable cos he is now in a minority party but it is not the Party that elected him but our representatives so we are waiting for them to vote him out or keep him. Gbaaaaam! |
Hmmmm! A lot about this Tambawal thing but the law is so clear on this. Gbaaaaam! |
AZeD1:please tell him and let him understand he is swallowing his own pill; A word that should also be deleted from the constitution. |
betrani:Bros Emotional U are; Not being Lawful and Making sense is alil bit different from law. Mind you your representatives voted him in to be Speaker not the President or the Party. Infact if GEJ can vote him out using 50(2) i will be the first to congratulate him. so no fight my bros it is enshrined in the law. |
southsouthman:"STAND TO LOOSE" does not mean must vacate or looses automatically; It is obvious he stands to loose if he is a minority but if he is not voted out by the Majority two-third then does he loose now; stand to loose is probability but if not then he continues; Guys just read, thats all. He needs to be voted out if PDP wants him to Vacate the seat. It is a pity! |
aby1976:Thanks my brother; we are not any bias citizen here; as i told you i vote individual. I wanted Nigerians to go read it but thanks for pasting it here. Please am the first to congratulate GEJ here if he gets the house back by section 50(2). |
[quote author=aby1976 post=27576233]It is very unfortunate that some Nigerians including public office holders are too lazy, to read the elementary sections of our Constitution, some of which are self explanatory. Now, let us examine what Chapter V, Part 1 (Composition Of National Assembly) sections 47 -50 of the Constitution Of The Federal Republic Of Nigeria holds: There shall be a National Assembly for the Federation which shall consist of a Senate and a House of Representatives. 48. The Senate shall consist of three Senators from each State and one from the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja. 49. Subject to the provisions of this Constitution, the House of Representatives shall consist of three hundred and sixty members representing constituencies of nearly equal population as far as possible, provided that no constituency shall fall within more than one State. 50. (1) There shall be:- (a) a President and a Deputy President of the Senate, who shall be elected by the members of that House from among themselves; and (b) a Speaker and a Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, who shall be elected by the members of that House from among themselves. (2) The President or Deputy President of the Senate or the Speaker or Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives shall vacate his office - (a) if he ceases to be a member of the Senate or of the House of Representatives, as the case may be, otherwise than by reason of a dissolution of the Senate or the House of Representatives; or (b) when the House of which he was a member first sits after any dissolution of that House; or (c) if he is removed from office by a resolution of the Senate or of the House of Representatives, as the case may be, by the votes of not less than two-thirds majority of the members of that House. So where did PDP find the supposedly "loophole" or authority in law, in asking Hon. Tambuwal to resign? The only option left for them, is to rally their members and see if they can muster the required number when plenary resumes in decemeber, in order to satisfy Section 50, subsection 2 C as highlighted above. Anything else is calling for anarchy! Don't let pdp deceive u folks Thanks my brother; we are not any bias citizen here; as i told you i vote individual. I wanted Nigerians to go read it but thanks for pasting it here. Please am the first to congratulate GEJ here if he gets the house back by section 50(2). |
dickoflife:it shows in you screen name "dickoflife" whats that.... YOU; thats YOU! so u agree; u think with your........; and that's why u can talk of my "papa" huunn spoilt brat! thanks for remembering my father in this u are a true spec of this generation i hope you think of your children. |
chukwudi44:Hmmmm Chukwuuuuudi 44, please we need to just check that up; and please he should be the one to go to court again. hahaha Naija Ninja's. Blindfolded and covered to the brain just to fight for their bellies. PASSS! |
dickoflife:Please learn; this generation should learn. It is just a click from you on the internet. Nothing like changing makes you loose your seat, pleeeeease learn. Let them vote him out in the house then nobody will argue; haaaaaabaaaa learn. dont think with your anus abeggggy! |
geophyscist:Shame on you; i pity your generation. |
isrecole:Hmmmmm! it is a pity to have people like this on board. I think we need age and qualification to admit people in this blq; where in the constitution says 'if you are in opposition you should vacate the office' shame on you guy; no matter what, the guy is still the number four man and let me tell you something, doing this to him is a security breach and tantamount to treason on the parliamentary arm of the govt. I have realized that it is my civic responsibility to vote so i have resolved in my heart that i will vote individual; as i am talking to you am thinking of voting out the Chairman in my area, an APC member; i voted him in before now but he is not performing; so guy think with your head not your stomach. |
