Hello Nairalanders, I'm not here to brag, I just need advice before I get lost.

I have two relatives living abroad (UK), both are from my mothers side, same father and same mother...

Just few days ago, I was called and told that they are making plans to send me to the UK early next year to go and stay with my uncle and find something doing there... they already communicated with my uncle abroad, and they just wanted to surprise me.

I'm 29 years old now, I graduated from school last two years as a petroleum engineering. Though, I'm not doing any work for now. My girlfriend is pregnant for me, and I have not disclosed it to anybody yet.

But the truth is that my mind doesn't want to go, I'm not ready and I have told them. They have already started telling me this is a one time opportunity, and that if I miss it, I won't see it again, but I have made up my mind that I don't want to go.

I just can't leave my friends here, I just don't know but I can't..

I need advice,

Why should I go, when my self and my mind is not ready...

Where is the wickedness of the family please? Have you used the word “wickedness” because they all disagreed with the young man? Would you report your own sister in such a circumstance? Be honest with yourself. If someone in your family does so, will you not crucify that person?

Where is it stated that the family agreed with the adulterous behavior? The family only disagreed with the report the young man made to the husband. Do you know that the family members would have been warning her too?

Reasonable people get out from offenses, including adultery and move on with forgiveness. I think you too many youths with no marriage experience are here commenting. By the way, who says she was not grateful to her marriage? What if the same man forced her marry him?

You all need to listen to married people and get some lessons on marriages and homes.

Let’s ask some pertinent questions:

1. If the sister did not marry that husband, how would the reckless young man have found his financial freedom as he mentioned?

2. If his sister did not allow him and his family members come around her husband, how would they all have come out of their family poverty?

3. Now that he has forgotten the one who covered their family’s poverty, has he found peace? His sister helped him become somebody in life and he paid back by breaking her marriage?

4. If his business fails and the same man does not help, where will he find help?

5. If his sister settles with her husband, will she ever allow him come around her husband?

Do you see why some people visit native doctors and hired assassins to kill their family members.

The young man is arrogant and very proud. His downfall is close to him.

OP you are an ungrateful person. You will learn your lesson the hard way.

Inasmuch as what the sister did is so so wrong, but also what the brother did is also wrong . It's okay to be all mad at your sister and threaten her for such an unethical and shameful behavior, but going as far as reporting it yourself to her husband is the greatest undoing. It's okay for others to report her ,but not a sibling or family member, except you people are enemies. Today you've reported her and you're the best, very righteous brother, but remember tomorrow the consequences may come. Same people hailing you today will use that to taunt and ridicule you tomorrow.

Hello guys! I am already established in scrap scavenging business, I have my push cart and I make a minimum of N3000 per outing. My relations did not support me doing the business but I like the business because of it's profitablity, green nature and freedom of work.

I need to know from experience men that have been through these and how they were able to navigate through this situation to cheap in their advice on how to make me deal with this situation and presently on.

What's the best and wise way to deal in situations whereby you got separated from your wife for years and because of that, she have been denying you access to be in the life of the kids despite all your intentions, you doesn't allow it. Presently I don't know the exact location of where my kids are right now and can't even speak to them. I am aware those kids are with her parents and anytime I call them, they refuse to pick my calls, I informed her to give me the address of their location but till now,she has refused to give me the address, I told her to give me the name and details of the school they attend but she said she doesn't know, maybe she feels I want to take the children away from her reason she is doing all these. I told her I can pay for school fee of the kids when I don't even have idea of the school they attend. This has really being an issue for me cos she knows I love those kids and reason why she is using them to manipulate me emotionally. Now am at the verge of just moving on and forget about those kids and start a fresh but I don't know if this is going to be a good idea. I want to take custody of the two girls age between 8 and 7 and don't know how to go about it. It's really draining me up and needs men that have been in this situation and how they sort things out.

Should I seek to take custody of the kids and what are the challenges of having kids custody as a man, despite the fact that I want to co-parenting, she is trying to frustrate me doing that. Pls matured and experience people, kindly advice on how to navigate, this issue have linger for long and just need a final solution to this, am making underground finding to know the location of where the kids are in her parents place and am going there, to pick up those kids but just want to be sure am doing the right thing.
