I think it's best to take a general theory of random payment instead of coming up with new theories that support one each time alert drops on him.

People like us from July 1 with alert prefer to assume random payment as our source won't give exact answer to alert query.

The speed of the process to me is to minimize the level of influence, before some pple link go click, water go don pass garri(the case don pass d level of their link)

From my source:

1. 1000GTs to get Apl’s and 250 EH’s needed.
2. Competition is stiff all round but most especially for EH cadre because interview scores are close and about 5 to be selected per state and about 8 in oil producing states.
3. No consideration for CBT scores as they were aggregated as just pass on their database
4. It’s all down to fine margins.
5. Selection is being worked on now and we should hear from them by early August

Posting is based on discipline and vacancy slots. It has nothing to do with individual score. Interview is meant to determine those who will join the corporation. That is where it ends. I'm not sure there is any organization that determines posting based on interview scores.
So I will advise not to build unnecessary tension inspired by anxiety and which can lead to delusion.

Like Jarus said, go to naijahotjobs (which was the hottest job site back then in 2012), and you will see people still hoping for 2nd NNPC list seven years after!

In 2012, all the successful underwent a 2 (or was it 3?) weeks orientation program in the Abuja headquarters. During that period, medical examination and security screening were performed. Also, we registered our banks.

After the orientation, the non-STEM GTs and experienced hires were posted immediately to different subsidiaries. And it's all dependent on your discipline. For instance, all the microbiology / biochemistry graduate that I met during orientation were posted to refineries as safety officers. A friend who studied quantity surveying was posted to IDSL, while a number of accountants were posted across several subsidiaries (accountants are needed everywhere) Experienced hires were posted based on their discipline and the role they applied for. Many experienced geologists were posted to IDSL and NETCO.

The STEM graduates had to undergo 9 months intensive training called FSTP (cant remember the full meaning but TP means training program). I was told that the overall best graduates per discipline were sent abroad for further studies. But the rest were posted based purely on their discipline and had nothing to do with their training score. Most chemical engineers ended up in the refineries; most petroleum engineers ended up in NPDC, and so on and so forth. A few who had solid network influenced their posting (typical everywhere even in private firms). Married ladies had the opportunity to choose the state of preference. For instance, a friend whose family was based in PH chose PH. She was posted to PH refinery.

This was all in 2012. Things might be different now.

Someone once stated that in a recruitment conducted by Access Bank some time ago, those who were not successful after the interview were given transport fare, most likely as compensation, while those who were successful weren’t give transport fare, but were employed instead. So, this information has resulted in a controversy in the present NNPC recruitment exercise where those who have received transport alerts have refused to be happy, and those who haven’t gotten alert, like me, are ecstatic as everyday goes by without an alert.

Also, from a pm someone sent, i think there is a real threat of people abusing this so i'm now identifying those who kind of communicated real interest and prioritizing that. by tomorrow morning, i would be definitely done with anything LOMS and stop

Lol...I read the one for 2011/2012 recruitment exercise, although the thread started from after the exams.... Exactly in june as it is now...The anxiousness was at its peak, people bringing up all sort of news from different corners... eventually towards the end of the month after the exams, people started getting invite for interview, I think some were through DHL or so

I followed through till the end and after the interview about some months later, people started talking about medical screening and all.... eventually they started dropping posts about their appointment letter, been posted to different parts of the country... I was forced to say "Ehyaaa" at the end.

May we have the same testimony here...
