@ laquetee to the best of my knowledge it kinda depends on the school. Cause I can remember I was reading some info under FAQ on NTNU website which states ur account statement should not be more that two months old. Go through the schools website and see if they list it out. Some can take something some won't. If ur not sure I guess six months is okay or 1 year will cover all your fears. Maybe lnxyz can clear it out.

@ kennycanny I think once you've deposited the money into the schools account I don't think you will need any account statement, that won't be necessary.

Mechbeejay just calm down and apply the both universities. There's no need to be tensed, the dead line for ntnu is 15th January. But u have to hurry and make sure uv uploaded all that needs to be uploaded and send your transcript too from ur school directly. With a first class u stand a chance but I will advice you to apply both of the universities and at the end you weigh your choices. I also applied ntnu chemical engineering and stavanger environmental tech. Just calm down and apply so u don't make and silly mistake.. Goodluck

@ Genfront you can send your application as soon as possible, as Uis does not have pre. Application. For the document u want to verify, I don't think it's necessary to stamp ur c.v, resume etc... Just ur certificates to show it's a true copy of the original... Hope this help..
TravelRe: Nigerians In Oslo, Norway by stewiepeter: 7:43am On Dec 02, 2014
@ Genfront you are on the right track.. U need to have all your document stamped either by ministry of education or foreign affairs. Then send them the document. Note in addition to that you are suppose to send them a transcript directly from ur school. So ur school is suppose to send them ur sealed transcript.

@ Monica the money is for masters, not sure of undergraduate. Your sure bet for undergraduate is Uni of Oslo. They accept international undergraduate but it's very competitive as stated on their site. U should give it a try...
TravelRe: Nigerians In Oslo, Norway by stewiepeter: 10:10am On Nov 30, 2014
For those who want to apply to Uni of stavanger, which the application process starts around December. Note that the prove of financial statement of account has gone up a little.. It's now 100,000 krones as to the 97,850 krones. So these should be noted in your application..

@ maxi dj that's true no harm in trying by what I meant by that is I read chemical engineering at undergraduate level and iv not seen a course I will be accepted in, cause you know they check what u studied and what ur applying for. What did u study in ur undergraduate level?
TravelRe: Nigerians In Oslo, Norway by stewiepeter: 8:11am On Oct 11, 2014
@ maxi dj that's a very nice course wish to apply too but I read chemical engineering. So don't know if I have the minimum requirement at undergraduate level.
TravelRe: Nigerians In Oslo, Norway by stewiepeter: 8:28pm On Oct 10, 2014
@ maxi dj what course did u apply @ Uni. Of Oslo
TravelRe: Nigerians In Oslo, Norway by stewiepeter: 3:39pm On Oct 10, 2014
@ amii ur transcript is in your school that you graduated from. Just go to your school admin and tell them to send your transcript to ntnu. The address ur suppose to send it is on their website.
TravelRe: Nigerians In Oslo, Norway by stewiepeter: 7:14pm On Oct 09, 2014
@ Gen front well for me I added work experience. If uv worked anywhere you can add it. Have u downloaded the Microsoft word doc that u sign and use ur passport photograph?
2. No there's no need for certifying ur documents such as ur recommendation letters, cv or ur motivational letters. This is done when there is preliminary application but as for now no preliminary app. Just make sure your school send your transcript and Bsc to ntnu b4 15th January. If ur univ can't make the deadline then u can certify uv transcript and send.
TravelRe: Nigerians In Oslo, Norway by stewiepeter: 7:03pm On Oct 09, 2014
@maxidj amen and amen. @ amii no not Uni. Of Oslo, but I think theirs is starting 15th am not sure please check their website so you can be sure.
TravelRe: Nigerians In Oslo, Norway by stewiepeter: 11:03pm On Oct 07, 2014
@ maxidj I applied for chemical engineering as first choice and chemistry as second choice.
TravelRe: Nigerians In Oslo, Norway by stewiepeter: 4:22pm On Oct 07, 2014
@ all those who applied to ntnu hope this helps
Applicants from Cameroon, Canada, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Ghana, Nigeria, the Philippines, Sudan, Uganda and USA must supply hard copies of their university grade transcripts and diplomas, in addition to uploading them. This must be sent directly from all your college/university in a sealed envelope to NTNU. Applicants from other countries may also be asked to provide hard copies.
TravelRe: Nigerians In Oslo, Norway by stewiepeter: 4:10pm On Oct 07, 2014
@ maxidj you don't need to send any of your document only if u want to send your recommendation letters by mail. But mind you after uploading all your documents online in soknads. You need to send your transcript from your Uni. to ntnu this is done by your university only. So I guess that's all you have to send to ntnu. Have you downloaded the Microsoft word document? Don't forget to sign it and attach your passport @ the last page. Ntnu stated in their website that there's no longer prelim application
TravelRe: Nigerians In Oslo, Norway by stewiepeter: 1:11pm On Oct 07, 2014
@genfront I also applied for chemical engineering @ ntnu. It's stated clearly on their site what u need for the prelim application. Take your time and read carefully the required document needed. You also need to send your document that is certified. And also your transcript from school is also needed hurry and do these as the dead line is January 15th. Note: make sure you read all the instructions carefully as that can lead to refusal of admission.
