I'm not from Ekiti so why should i care what happens to the state.Because it'll affect you someday either directly or indirectly. As a matter of fact, what happens in Sokoto state should be your cup of tea because the adverse effect may still breeze on you. |
they have destroyed the credibility of the election even before a vote is cast. WHICH WAY NIGERIA? cos if this isnt rigging/election buying then what is. ![]() |
articulate God Fathers work in silence. This man is just a brute. Are you jealous or what? |
Who can resist him?. Young, vibrant, suave, rich and articulate. His presence alone at the podium was orgasmic. The sexiest man i've seen from Ekiti. |
Ekiti: PDP bows to Fayose Written by Gbenga Ariyibi Wednesday, March 4, 2009 ADO EKITI — IN a bid to secure the support of former Governor of Ekiti State, Mr. Ayodele Fayose, towards ensuring victory in the governorship election re-run, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has acceded to the former Governor’s demands, conceding 40 percent of political appointments to him, should Mr. Segun Oni win the re-run polls. https://odili.net/news/source/2009/mar/4/vanguard/images/Fayose23.jpg Mr. Ayodele Fayose wins another victory? In addition, 30 percent of political appointments at the local government level will also be filled by the political group within the PDP led by Mr. Fayose. Meanwhile, more than 150 groups, with a manpower of close to 2,000 drawn from within and outside the country are to monitor the re-run election in Ekiti, officials of the Civil Society Coalition for Mandate Protection, (CS-CMAP) said after the coalition’s meeting in Lagos. Disclosing this to newsmen in Ado Ekiti yesterday, chairman of the party in the state, Chief Bola Olu-Ojo, said the party has been able to identify seven aggrieved groups within the party, stating that 40 percent sharing formula would take care of all the aggrieved party men in the state. “We have agreed that 40 percent of the political appointments would be allotted to all the groups who are aggrieved at the state level, similarly, 30 percent of the political appointments would go to the aggrieved party men at the council level, if Engr. Segun Oni wins the gubernatorial re-run election in the state. Other parts of the resolution, according to him, include appointing some of Fayose’s men as special assistants and other aides of the Acting Governor of the state, Mr Tunji Odeyemi. On the demand for the dissolution of the state executive of the party, Olu-Ojo said the party has rejected the demand. It will be recalled that both the Abuja and Ado-Ekiti meetings of the leadership of the party with Fayose were deadlocked, as the former governor insisted on the party meeting all his demands. Some of the demands of the former governor include the dissolution of the party’s executive at the state level; payment of severance allowance to all the political appointees who had served during his regime; unconditional release of all members of his faction who are presently facing criminal charges in court and harmonisation of political appointments. Fayose had threatened that should any of his demands be dropped, he would work for the success of Dr Kayode Fayemi of the Action Congress (AC) in the re-run polls. 150 groups to monitor Ekiti re-run polls About 150 Non Governmental Organisations, NGOs and civil liberty groups across the world will monitor the election for which a date is yet to be announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission. The contest is mainly between the candidates of the Action Congress, Mr. Kayode Fayemi and that of the Peoples Democratic Party, Mr Segun Oni. Both have equal members in the subsisting local parliament. Dr Funmi Ajakaiye who spoke on behalf of the CS-CMAP said several NGOS across the world are interested in monitoring the Ekiti rerun election partly because of the curiosity the election has stirred, and the subsequent global interest the Court of Appeal judgment has generated across the world. She also listed the character of one of the candidates who is well known in the human rights circles across the world, as a factor that propelled the interest in the re-run polls. http://odili.net/news/source/2009/mar/4/306.html |
my eyes have been shined. you have also shined urs but u went ahead to look at it through a lens instead of direct. thus ur shined eye shined after all.Shine your eye oh. Somebody is repeating the harassment of Yorubas by the Abacha regime. Do a background check on Waziri and what you may discover will startle you. I suspect the Abacha squad infiltrated the EFCC. |
None of you have at least a crush on your church brother or sister that has high rank status in the church ehn? ![]() |
no i wont ask myself that because im not looking at it thru the same lens with which u r looking at it.Well you better shine your eyes. This is Nigeria. |
hopefully they would follow through till the end and not sweep it under the carpet like they did others.Have you asked yourself why they didn't follow Odili's or Ibori's case to the end but they will be quick to jail Bode george, Fani Kayode, Tafa balogun and now innocent Agagu(until proven guilty). ![]() |
Insert QuoteWhy should he shut up in the face of pure tribalism. Waziri and her minions are nothing but core tribalists and now I know why they removed Ribadu. Have you wondered why EFCC close their eyes on Northern and eastern crooked gov's?. Why is Odili,Ibori, Nnanamani and dariye still walking around scot free?. Why does the EFCC pounce only on Yorubas. It's quite intriguing i tell you. Something is definitely wrong and while i support every criminal to be brought to justice, I still think the due process of law should be followed. |
am not Ijaw or Igbo, am efikStop disgracing Efiks please. |
what non Igbo would ask people to join Biafra? She is no 1 Igbo basher here if you don't know. check the other thread, she already said she is efik. Weren't Efiks part of Biafra?. was ojukwu's second in command igbo or Efik?. Col Effiong or something. Biafra is not exclusive to igbos alone. Those little dime a dozen tribes east of Ondo are very cunning and can swing on you any minute. Better be careful. |
After weeks of fighting igbos, you've turned against yorubas. You are slowly walking towards your grave on this one. Nobody is holding your ijaw people back from secession, lead and we shall follow. ![]() |
well now they are talking about you CheesyTamme is a celebrated Igbo and yoruba hater. Calling her igbo is a gross mistake. Check her other responses and threads. I think she is ijaw or ibibio. |
I don't see any reason why the dominance of Igbo threads should raise any dust. Competing with them is as simple as just bombarding here with Yoruba or hausa threads. This complaint, I think, lacks base. It is another thing if all the threads are on the same topic, in which case we could have had point, accusing them of multiplicity of threads. Let the omo nnas continue with their talks while we Yoruba Yoruba and mallo continue with our oro and magana , respectively too. No need for mutual rivalry. You misunderstood me. The igbo threads were opened mostly by non igbos. It's always igbos do this , igbos do that etc. If you view the threads closely, you will understand what am saying. |
ashewo ![]() ![]() |
so na Jesus i need now? anyway it is YOU so im not even going to wonder where that came fromAre you rejecting my Jesus again? |
im more than a phenomenal tribalist. dig deeper you'll find more names. but if my telling you to match the igbo threads by posting threads about other tribes, YORUBA included makes me a tribalist. then i wonder what you are.You need Jesus. ![]() |
roflmao if only you would take my advice. I'll take it only if you lay off connecting any ogbo hatred here with yorubas. Indeed, you are a phenomenal tribalist. ![]() |
nobody dey envy yoruba? if you feel intoxicated by the threads or if u feel we yoruba or the other 248 ethnic groups are being marginalized by these igbo threads on NL, simple start bombarding NL with yoruba threads or whichever of the 248 u wish. u can becomerichinize it if you wish.Resident mugu ![]() |
you opened one too many. IGBO ENVY!Yoruba envy ![]() |
Here comes Billygoat's coz again. ![]() |
did you have to start one as well. i think ur own case is IGBO ENVYWhatever rocks your boat but these threads are intoxicating for real. Igbos are not the only ethnic group here. Over 250 of them in Naaija but it's igbos did this, igbos did that everyday. Tell me how many igbo threads I've opened here? |
Yesooh. They are not the only people here. Some people are working hard to push their tribal sentiments without knowing they are making igbos superstars here. Haven't you noticed that too? Is there any day you come here and would not see an igbo related thread? |
Is it igbo phobia or just plain envy?. Why must igbo related threads pop out here everyday. Some days 2 -3 threads on igbos?. It's intoxicating and becoming unhealthy. Igbos are not the only ethnic group here. Let us discuss Ogojas, Ebiras, binis, Bwari's etc. After my complaint yesterday two more popped out within 12 hrs and many more will pop out before the end of the day: https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-241979.0.html https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-242508.0.html |
Very ugly dude. We don't want anybody that will scare away potential investors with his ugly face. |
hope you remember that when next you point at Islameeeeyyaa |
These are isolated cases of cannibalism.@Bold, I agree ![]() |
Sauron is a cannibal who eats only females from ages 18-26. |
There's enough naija in UK to make a small european countryRoflmao ![]() you guys can form your own republic there na so it'll reduce the burden at home and also be a place where Nigerians can run to in times of trouble. ohhh, i forgot the igbo hausa yoruba syndrome will not let the republic draw a common constitution. |
