I think a lot of persons are yet to differentiate the LP from the Obidatti movement. In Osun, it was contested as LP candidate but at the presidential,
it would be the personalities of the respective candidates that would be the deciding factor.

Sir the youths voted in Ekiti and Osun. In fact, for Osun, the two leading parties had to bring in musical artist with huge following among the youths yet lp got 2k votes. These two states of Osun and Ekiti are among the states with the highest literacy rate and internet penetration. If you pay close attention to the numbers and dynamics in those recent elections you will even place SDP over lp.

Why did I refer to the huge polling station numbers and having political office holders?

it is to emphasise the huge scale of planning, funding and logistics that a small party like lp can not deliver. Presidential election is huuge and reaching far flung places in large lamd mass states especially in the north is an uphill task. So uphill that you need political alliances to achieve it. There are far flung places where the only parties they know are just PDP and APC.

I love numbers and it is easy to create an emperical model from the numbers and extrapolate. As at today, the best model so far is the Osun result and it is a disastrious outing for lp. All our diaspora guys are out of tune with the reality and are not voting but hope that the hype will help when 90% of registered voters in the north are not even on social media according to HE Atiku.

Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), says he will dialogue with agitators if he becomes president.

Speaking on Wednesday when he was interviewed on Arise TV’s ‘Prime Time’, Obi said there is a need to restructure the country but added that constitutional restructuring will take time.

“We need to restructure the country, it is for the good of the country. It will be constitutional restructuring but that will take time. There’s one you need to deal with. You don’t need to wait for that kind of restructure before pulling people out of poverty,” he said.

“To deal with issues of security, you don’t need to wait for constitutional restructuring. Those ones will happen and it for the interests of the whole nation.”

Obi said he would not dictate to people as president, but will, instead, encourage dialogue and help society.

“For those who are agitating, and disagreeing, you first start by dialogue. No matter who they are, I will discuss with everybody so that you will know when to throw a line and say we’ve tried this and it’s not working,” he said.

When asked if he would dialogue with bandits, he said “they are not among people I will discuss with”.

Bandits are bandits, criminals are criminals. I’m going to deal with it decisively,” he said.

“Those who want to be discussed with will be discussed with. Those who are agitating, those who feel unhappy, my job is to bring them to the table.”

Political parties officially kicked off their campaigns on Wednesday, September 28, ahead of the 2023 general election.

Members of the LP kickstarted their campaign activities with a mega rally in Jos, the Plateau state capital.

If you gave 1 billion each to manufacturer in that area that focus on import substitution or exportable products ...you would have 350 multi billion factories

Let's take a garment factory for exam ..a 1 billion Naira garment factory can easily ... easily employ 2000 permanently and pay them over 80k per month ...their tax would be 12k say worse case 8k ...that's 16 million revenue from that business alone add profit tax you have around 50 million guaranteed revenue for government ...say you have around 20 garment factory funded and say 15 survive that's 750 million revenue guaranteed and 30,000 people permanently employed and reducing pressure on dollar demand for import

1 billion can build you four 50,000 capacity poultry farm ...you can look for the biggest poultry farmers and invest 1 billion each for 50 people ...or you can ask smaller farmers to form cooperatives ...do you know the effect this would have on our food security ? That's 50 billion ..this can create 2000 permanent jobs


We can do the same for fish farmers ...say 50 billion and create 3000 permanent jobs

Buying fishing trawlers for $1 million dollars and giving them to local fishermen would create employment ...50 billion can buy minimum of 75 trawlers...each can employ 15 people ...that's over a thousand people permanently ...

This is just less than half of that money used for that bridge ..half ooh ...

We will likely be stuck with an Atiku or a Tinubu presidency in 2023...I don't see any hope for Obi, even though he's my preferred candidate. One thing though: a Tinubu will remain a better choice than a thousand Atiku

I remember back in 2018 when NLC president (this same Ayuba Wabb) claimed he will mobilize 6million workers for Labor Party back then in 2019 election, I am not sure if that party got over 100k vote in the general election.

They have started promising Obi Pandora too while forgetting state governors always keep the state NLC/TUC in their bag and they dictate their tune.

I will see who will influence Lagos workers to vote Obi Pandora for example when most of them are card carrying members of APC.
