That's the present number of LGs the proposed state...
Oyo has 33
Oshun has 30
Egba/Egbado part of Ogun has 11

That's how it got to 74
I know... Oyo state itself is too big, why add the whole Osun? Not satisfied, you still wanna add Egba/Egbado. While Ijebu has 9 LGs, what the sense in it?

Una for join Kwara sef..... grin

21]Oyo: with capital at Ibadan, this state would comprise of present day Oyo and osun States in addition to the Egba/egbado area of Ogun. The number of LGs is 74

It's our right to attend the NYSC and it's also our right to be allowed to observe our religious obligation. Wearing of HIJAB is compulsory on any sane Muslim woman who has attained maturity.

DG has to be careful in taking decisions that affect people's believe.
And if the Security challenge we're currently facing hasn't re-shaped your thinking, head for the court of law.

It remains banned even in more islamic countries than Nigeria for safety purposes. Keep placing dogma over safety undecided

i never said dat. My point is waht has happened to the campaign since Buhari took over or has d girls been rescued?? I remember Oby organized protests on a regular basis and always tweet abt hw security agencies harassed her group.

I know a campaign strategy when i see one and #BBOG was one. The people behind APC presidential campaign deserve a freaking medal.
Ok, I see the angle you're coming from but I remember Oby saying they will give Buhari time to settle down well before they resume their march. The grace period she said they will give Mr Buhari is what I can't remember.

she was used unwittingly to discredit Jonathan. The BBOG was a targeted campaign against GEJ's administration she bought hook, line, sinker. For someone of her pedigree it was digusting to watch her foolery. She is now trying to regain some respect.

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Between A Multi National And Lecturing Job by stinggy(m):
To be sincere, I wouldn't even think it twice before I take the Multinational job, only if they are into 'hiring and firing'.

MNCs will expose you to the outside world - world of unlimited possibilities.
Fantastic pay and working conditions.
Unlimited travels for an adventurous spirit like mine.

And forget those advising you to take lecturing job because of pension. All serious organizations use PFAs these days, so pension is no issue.

No state in nigeria has the funding to invest in agriculture. Enugu state budget is 93 billion Naira, that's nothing in d agric sector.
Oyo budgets around 150B, Delta budgets more than double yet workers are always owed, are these money draining into ocean?
Do you know how much the Governor pockets as Security vote even in the paltry 93B you say Enugu budgets?

Agriculture can only strive with government funding......Which is actually massive...billions of dollars
State and Local Government isn't government?
What Agriculturalists need are subsidised seedlings, cheap fertilizers, cheap tractor services, etc, then maybe farm settlements and access to water through irrigation and a functional Agric board. All these can be handled by SG and LG, if only they are serious

Diversify this shittty economy; Agric, Tin, Limestone, Metal ore, etc.
Each state has one thing or the other her land is good for but we have visionless and lazy governors who depend solely on handouts from Abuja at month end.

It was very painful to watch Ajimobi talk about 3rd bail-out fund at a time when talks should be intense on how to look away from FG money and grow each state's IGR.
