Though unthinkable that Kogi is more than Oyo. Nasarawa shouldn't be where it is too. Osun is bad but shouldn't be sitting behind Kwara.
Food › Re: NAFDAC Hits Guinness Nigeria With One Billion Naira Fine by stinggy(m): 10:28am On Nov 12, 2015
anonimi:
Bros, the timing of this fine so soon after that of MTN is more than suspicious. Why weer they not fined during the previous visits/warnings?
Guinness may go to court or may decide it is not worthwhile taking on a potentially "hostile" government.

As I said if businesses are being fined ANYHOW, it will lead to higher prices first and increased UNEMPLOYMENT subsequently, as owners will do everything to keep their profit MARGINS.
If you tighten a screw too much you are likely to break the wood/metal material that you are working with. Hope you understand the analogy huh
This is standard business modus operandi anywhere.
Bros forget the timing and assume it was done when their cup was full.
Like I said too, if they feel they are unlawfully charged, they should head to court.
We can't because we don't want them to see us as hostile allow them to kill us with contaminated products. Don't they follow safe practices where they come from? Does mtn disobey orders in SA?
These people have taken us for ride too long.
Safe products don't raise production cost.

Moreover MNCs are fined the world over whenever they mess up, be it in effluent control, degradation or what-have-you. This is the same way Oil coys in Niger Delta have to be held responsible for the spillage and pollution in that region.
It is the same way Exide was not cautioned in Ibadan till people cannot get safe water to drill in that area again.

Follow safe practices, it's never too much to ask for. What you wouldn't try in your country, don't try it here....
Food › Re: NAFDAC Hits Guinness Nigeria With One Billion Naira Fine by stinggy(m): 9:02am On Nov 12, 2015
anonimi:
This looks more like a REVENUE generation exercise by Buhari than a concern for hygiene.
If it were a concern for hygiene, NAFDAC would have fined more risky companies but with LESS funds to pay heavy fines. Don't you agree huh
Can't they start with Guinness? Or do you know how many times they've visited and cautioned them about their unhygienic environment? They don't just slam fines anyhow bro.

The weight of the fine will depend on how many times you've be warned, the effect your bad practice will have on the overall quality of your product and the distributed quantity of your product; you and I know how many bottles of Guinness will go down today.

Baseless talk. Football is their only business for now and it's all about money! They should sign for wherever the money is and when they fall short in the pecking order, find a way out.
Just don't do a Mikel and accept sitting on bench for too long.

Buhari is a complete olodo

May God help the unemployed

Besides all this talk of rodent is pure lie

Do you believe an international company like Guinness won't take its hygiene serious angry
You've never been exposed to the industrial life and you won't STFU.
If those rats weren't found in their warehouse, then they should head to court.

You guys are so blinded by your hate that even when you find live maggots in your KFC chicken and SON/NAFDAC prosecutes them, you'll still shout 'Buhari is an olodo'

anonimi:
Buhari is really desperate to raise money oh since he cannot stabilise oil price as promised.
Customers, aka fellow citizens be ready to pay in the form of higher prices and increased UNEMPLOYMENT!
So if these companies keep an hygienic environment, the unemployed will still suffer?
You should know better than this undecided

Yesterday it was MTN and today Guinness

By the time you guys create a very wrong impression about government attitude towards foreign companies, don't cry unemployment when they run to Ghana.

Things must be done properly but we must apply wisdom on how we go about it. cool
I still don't get your rambling. Were these companies found culpable or not? Answer me!
Are many companies can you see in Nigeria now that care about their consumers' health? Practically none... is this right?

Do you know how many people suffer kidney/liver problem due to all these wrongly-brewed drinks?

Let them run to Ghana if their government will allow them kill Ghanians.
So you know, Ghana coke is more quality than Nigeria's.

I hope those APC small brains won't complain when some of these companies relocate to nearby countries. angry

Before you know what is going on, those government officials will start demanding bribes using fines as threat. angry
So they should not follow best practices, and give the populace low quality products?
So that in turn, we may end up treating diseases and ailments which are avoidable?

Let them go wherever they wish to if they can't follow simple hygiene!
