I have been asking this question with no valuable answer.
If I am asked to believe in God.. What purpose will a believe in God serve in my life?
I will still hustle to make ends meet, work hard for my daily bread, f"*k my wife to get her pregnant and she would still go through the painful labour to have my child. Believing in a God will not stop me from dying from either accident or sickness.
Believing in a God does not make me abnormally better than my peers.
I don't really see what the hype is all about.

Yes. Nigeria needs the bravery and resilience of "the Lion of Africa". He is not perfect but he is no coward either and won't be intimidated. Those are qualities very scarce amongst our self-serving leaders . Chances are Amaechi will achieve a lot because he is the sort who will not back off, back down or be intimated by anyone if determined to gain results.
Ask them. His only sin is going against 'their son'.
Amaechi is not perfect, but he wouldn't have been hated had it been he worked with Jona.

What's bad in having your mind and following what your principles are?

Truth is no really busy igboman has a clue as to what is going on dats why d so called protests have been taking centre stage outside the core igbo states. . Why haven't there been disturbances of such magnitude in Enugu, Imo, Anambra, Abia, Ebonyi .... It's only online mischief makers are creating the impression dis whole nonsense is generally supported by vast majority of igbos. I am an igbo man and all these agitation is arrant nonsense. . Those already insulting the generality of ibos over the agitation of a few misguided and sponsored elements are obviously dumb if they actually think an average igbo man who's adventurous and keen on anywhere dat is hustle is real, is ready to come back to the east to an uncertain future.
It's a pity shallow-minded people generalize a tribe because of the silly behaviour of a few misguided online representatives.
All right-thinking Igbos I know are averse to this biafra noise. Sorry for the insults these fools have brought on well-meaning Igbos.

Politics › Re: Reps Probe N52M Fraud Allegations Against The CCT Chairman by stinggy(m): 6:58am On Nov 11, 2015
Among the allegations was the payment of N1m in July 2011 from the coffers of the CCT to sponsor his wedding.
Most public officers are given certain amount during wedding.

Umar was also alleged to have spent N15.2m to purchase a Toyota Prado Jeep SUV “without following due process.”
But for the omission of 'due process', that's the price of that SUV.

In March 2011, Umar was said to have awarded contracts for the supply of office furniture and fittings in the sum of N11.3m.
The contracts were reportedly executed by a “supposedly engineering company and not a furniture or supply company.”
Prices quoted to furnish even a Director's office in the Ministry is always higher than this. And 'supposedly' remains mere unsubstantiated accusation.

He also allegedly paid N4. 2m for the “purchase of welfare items” in a contract executed by a private individual.
Further information needed on this...

Another N4.2m for the procurement of external light bulbs was described by the petitioners as “entirely fictitious contract.”
N4.2m is outrageous if found true, except a step-down transformer is bought alongside.

Other figures listed against Umar by the petitioners ranged from N1.5m to N3.7m.
Incomplete...

In conclusion, but for 'electrical fittings', most of this allegations are mere waste of time.

Rose2014:
You called them hungry and jobless etc
Let's assume they're hungry and jobless, whose job is it to provide employment for the citizens. So either way you look at it, the govt has failed them woefully. Biafra or any protest whatsover is usually championed by the oppressed.

While our leaders jump out of Nigeria for any slightest headache, Biafra is for that woman in labour that has no access even to a quack nurse in the village

While our leaders are laundering money to and fro Nigeria, Biafra is for that family that cannot afford 3 square meals a day

While the children of our leaders are in the best schools abroad, Biafra is for that family that have no access to ordinary clean drinking water
Of course Biafra seeks to address the plight the poor & the oppressed I would've bn surprised if it were otherwise.
Or do u want the likes of Joe Igbokwe and Okorocha to be the ones protesting?

Thanks for all the insults on the hungry(as you called them). On their behalf, I return all the adjectives u used back to u and yours

Don't bother quoting me cos I won't reply.
So bye
And those Biafrat youths are the only unemployed people in Nigeria?
Speaking of which, is it the sole responsibility of FG to provide them jobs? Whatever happened to their individual State Government huh
Were they employed during the last government and recently lost their jobs?

I understand you.

but, if we keep looking at our harsh economy, we will never move up. we just have to make do with the little we have and give ourselves peace of mind.

I don't feel anybody looking for a partner should make wealth his prayer point. Rather, it should be God give me a partner that will give me peace of mind.

If you have such, even if you drink garri, you drink with peace and love.

All every couple needs is planning. Don't live above your income. After all, some of us here are children of security guard, carpenter, okada riders, barrow pusher, etc. Yet, we didn't die of hunger. and, the home was peaceful and loving.
