Exactly, there was no MASSOB or IPOB in the time of Abacha.
So only MASSOB and IPOB can do something...? What about the Igbo elites?

I wouldn't be so sure about that.....probably the "bandwagons"
So how would be sure...? In your dream or illusion...? Surely there must be some kind of emperical way to get the numbers?

You are not the one spearheading the agitation lolz...so I won't be sure you don't want the oil.
You have no idea of what is going on...If you make you point based on what you red here, then you would be missing the point..seriously..We are not Yorubas that depends on oil...

Is it safe to say out of the 97%, 30% constitute the unemployed, 40% constitute the illiterates and 27% constitute the Bandwagons? With the hope a Biafra will be their "Heaven"?
You warped illusion would be clear, once and for all, with a referendum...I support Biafra so where would you put me...? I can pay the salaries of the people that work in your local council every month...

Did you see the distribution of the said vote?.... "Majority" voted against... What is the ratio of the for to the against? Those that are not in support of it, how many are Igbos? Please help me with the figures.
I don't even care..Did you see where I listed Igbo elites as those who also want One Nigeria...?

The North rejected it because they wrongly believe the Southern Governors want to control the major resources for themselves(especially oil) to the detriment of the North. Want we need in Nigeria is a round table dialogue, the campaigners for restructuring must come clarify things on their position to avoid misunderstanding. I kid you not, oil binds us together in this useless unitary system of Government. We need a roundtable talk.
Oil is not binding the Igbos with Nigeria. We have said you can take your oil and just leave us alone...

I am a Biafran only if it could lead to a Nigerian revolution. Let's not deceive ourselves no national leader would want to give you referendum whereby it would be said in his time Nigeria was divided. Nations don't separate easily, Morocco and Western Sahara is still debated till date, lsrael and Palestine, etc. Even today you don't know the states that make up Biafra or the boundaries, Biafra is just an ideology for a better Nigeria.
I am from the South South, and it baffles me that Jonathan couldn't build a port in warri or calabar but still in all of these secession OF AN ETHNIC GROUP is never a peaceful process and it's difficult even outside Africa, how much more Africa? Sudan and Eritrea fought for many years, in Nigeria's case there are lgbo communities all over the SE and SS, would Nigeria let SS go, considering the fact that corruption and oil binds us together?
Others can start the revolution. You can even state one from your base in SS. The only way for Igbos to progress in life is to go awayy from Nigeria. Igbos are talented in creating things, but Nigeria government tries very hard to destroy whatever they have created...Did you see how rhey have now moved over to kill Nollywood, even when the government has no hand in its creation...That's just an example...Nigeria is evil, that's why NOTHING is working there despite huge oil and gas resources with huge manpower and population.

I am sure you are aware that the "Government" does not only constitute the Yoruba's and the Igbos". These states you are talking about don't they have Igbo governors to represent their interest? Why do you think Igbos at the herm of affair are doing nothing about the problems you mentioned?.....
You don't need to go far...At NASS they rejected devolving powers to the states or region...Didn't the Igbos there fought for their interests? The NASS also rejected the SEDC but approved the NEDC, didn't the Igbos there fought for Igbos interest? Nigeria is at cross roads at the moment...The status quo MUST not continue.

Nobody has tried anything for over 50 years grin......If we have an Igbo as Nigeria president, do you think this issues would be resolved?
Not at all. Did you notice I didn't include Igbo presidency in my list. It is inconsequential. The Igbo president would be picked by the north...He won't be any different from OBJ and GEJ presidency. Tell me any dramatic change made by those two southern presidents. NONE!!! 97% of Igbos both home and in diaspora, want independent state of Biafra...The remaining 3% are the politicians, some elites and other how have investments outside Igbo land...and also those whose other parent is not Igbo.

grin Thanks for your candid view. But is Fct and Lagos the only resourceful state in Nigeria?
Yes. They are the ONLY two cities where the federal government has spent trillions in infrastructural investments...When you visit UK, the difference between London, Manchester, Liverpool and even Bristol is not too glaring...What would stop the government from getting a loan and giving it to every region to develop their infrastructure, than just putting everything in the north and SW?

I may not be in support of secession but l think you are the only one who has made an attempt to answer the question unambiguously even though l do not support your conclusion.
I have not concluded...

But to do so, I prefer Biafra...To remain in Nigeria, would mean our suppression and subjugation continues...We need freedom to do things ourselves...I don't see why it wouldn't be allowed...

Since you want ONE Nigeria, how can those items enumerated be resolved? Ohaneze and the Igbo elites have tried for 50 years and they have not achieved anything...

1. 2nd Niger brige will be built with Biafra, just like Nigerian governemt built the 3rd Mainland bridge.

2. My child will have equal opportunities than needing to score 213 to get admission into unity school, while your own child need to score 5?

3. Our people will have equal opportunities in the agencies of Biafra government and can raise to the highest rank, unlike in Nigeria where they are retired even when they are more educated, leaving the northerners and the SW people to chose among themselves?

4. We don't need to travel to other regions in order to travel abroad?

5. Our roads which are the worse federal roads in Nigeria, will be built by ourselves, we don't need to go the Abuja to beg and get permission to do them. We also don't need to beg them to be allowed to reactivate the coal corporation in the East...etc.etc.

6. Abuja belongs to the northerners as you can see all FCT ministers are ONLY from the north. So also Yorubas claim Lagos belongs to them, We easterners have nothing. We would build our own political capital city and economic city with Biafra.

7. With Biafra investments in R&grin for technology advancement have more chances to succeed, then in Nigeria where there is no trust beween the north, the SW and the SE. So any invention is thrown away so long as it wasn't from the north...

8. In terms of security...there won't be any Fulani herdsmen terrorisng communites in Biafra.

9. We can build our own rail network, unlike in Nigeria where we are excluded...from the $5bilion loan meant for that in the north, SW and parts of SS..

I stop here for now...

etc
etc
etc

Really?? Then why is SE region competing with NE in terms of IGR?
..because people are mainly importers and since rthe federal government made sure ONLY the ports in Lagos is working majority of the importers decide to move to SW for easy access...and they contribute heavily on the IGR...To break it down for you...check the IGR contribution in SW per tribal region...and you would know...

God forbid that I'm IPOB. I don't follow charlatans like a programmed zombie.
..but you follow Ohaneze like programmed zombie...so what have you achieved for 50 years...now? It is only an irrational person that wants to continue doing the same thing all over again and expecting different result...
