This here is why you always get it wrong. As flawed as the 1999 constitution is...it still remains in place until it is reviewed by a democratic means. IPOB shouting up and down cannot change the constitution. Eventually, the 1999 constitution will be reviewed and a more "people's" oriented constitution will be made but not by IPOB.

Stop deceiving yourself. The same constitution was skweded in favour of the north, ging them more states so they now have majority in NASS. What do you expect in its review? That's why the agitation for self rule is being internationalized.

The Arewa Consultative Forum and the Northern Elders’ Forum on Wednesday defended their opposition to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan when he contested the 2011 and the 2015 presidential elections.

The groups, in separate interviews with The PUNCH, indicated that they had no regrets for their position in the two elections.

On its part, the ACF adduced the same reason for working against the former President and his party, saying Jonathan contested in 2011 and 2015 against the arrangement of his party that zoned the presidency to the North.
