paBuhari: While northerners have been producing ministers of the federal capital territory, Abuja since it was created by military FIAT based on northern claim that it is located in the north, and their undocumented vow that no southerner will ever be appointed as substantive minister of Abuja, Northerners have been heading ministry of petroleum, NNPC and virtually all its department despite the fact that oil is located in the south. Even NPA and Customs is headed by a northerners. When was the last time you saw a southerner heading customs for example? Who is the bigger fool here? Is this charade an illustration of ONE NIGERIA? You didn't include EFCC! I have created many threads on this...but it doesn't go more than half a page....and it is gone...I believe most people from the south except IPOB, have agreed to live with it....I am baffled when people shamelessly claim Nigeria belongs to all... |

How does the thread title concern the Hausa Fulani? Why not focus on the question posed by your fellow southerner?
You don't have to derail the thread if you cannot answer why you lack the capacity to play opposition politics. It's definitely no fault of the North. Was the post meant for you? Why would the OP drag the Igbos in his own diatribe? |

igwebuike01: So what exactly is your point? Is Nsukka not an upcoming city, is it an abomination if Enugu gets a second city? Are you comparing 8 years of high allocation with massive borrowing to two years of small revenue with heavy debt burden? Not at all...but urban improvement in the capital city shouldn't be stopped...even US, UK have huge debt burden...What I am saying is that projects in the capital city should not be stopped because another city is coming up...Development across the state should be a continous thing...For example the state government has many estates in the city, why is taking a long time to tar the roads in the estates, simulatenously as the local community roads are tarred...? Do you know that if the estates are developed, properties would completed by private individuals, who would in turn improve the IGR of the state because of tenement rate payments to the government...See that as recurring income...The development of this estates will also improve the economy and physical environment of the capital city...This will bring more investments and businesses to the state. |
Politics › Re: Enugu, The Pride Of The East. by Stingman: 5:13pm On Sep 03, 2017 |
igwebuike01: The last administration did that and other aspects of development suffered with huge debt incurred, right now, maintenance will go on with other aspects of development being touched within the limits of whatever remains after debt servicing. Economic empowerment like the one above should not be considered a "push over", Enugu city is not lagging behind in urban renewal. Secondly, the road you talked about was built by Sullivan, i expect this governor continue the dualization from Opi to Abakpa before the end of his tenure The past administration did well for the city...debts are okay, so long as the projects are there to be seen. Can you mention one big project done in the city for this past two years? Investment in the city should be a continnous thing...Big projects have been done in the Nsukka axis which is a welcome development... |

I was socked! oladeebo. "You are Yoruba. Biafrans have never included you in their business. The agitation doesn’t pose any danger to you whatsoever. Yet, you spend time mocking their agitation and insulting Nnamdi Kanu who has succeded in troubling the waters of the Nigerian polity enough to force a conversation; a feat your Oodua Congress has woefully failed to achieve. One of your own, Osinbajo, is currently being humiliated. He is the acting president, yet, he can’t swear in ministers, he can’t even sign budget. Why? Because he is a southern Christian deemed inferior by the fulani Oligarchs. Rather than allow Osinbajo sign the budget, six months into the 2017 fiscal year it was meant for, the whole country should grind to a halt. You are seeing all these, yet, Biafra, which is a product of the injustice in the system, is your only headache" Peter

2. Cry like toddlers to the UN?
3. Hide Under Fake Militant Groups To Issue Ultimatum?
4. Declare War On Nigeria?
5. Start Accompanying Nnamdi Kanu To Court?
