It has become common for those who want the Nigeria unitary system of government to continue because they gain most from it, than those who want some form of autonomy so that they can progress and develop at their own pace. These group of people in Nairaland would call those people who want autonomy, like the Biafrans of dreaming. The question is, why can't they dream as well? Does it mean Nigeria has no dream? Does it mean that Biafra will become a better country than Nigeria?

Most of the people who accuse others of dreaming are the people from SW and this is despite claiming to have the biggest IGR, sophistication, educated and most industrious in Nigeria. They have never professed Nigeria DREAM. Why

The Federal government through the Federal Aviation Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), issued a shutdown date on August 24, 2019, for rehabilitation of the runway and upgrade of its facilities to meet international standard.

Ohaneze, SE governors and NASS members told the agitators to channel all their grievances through them to the unitary federal government. These Igbo leaders have done that... even to the previous government and nothing has changed. The question now is what will they do if they continue to be ignored, as we are seeing?

Would any of these leaders be bold enough to internationalize the continuous marginalization and exclusion of the region like Kanu is doing?

In Cameroun the anglophone separates movement are working so hard with their leaders, forcing their central government to call for national dialogue.

If Nigeria is restructured so that every region will have some kind of autonomy like we have in Scotland, Hong Kong and Catalan...people will build their own airports to any standard they desire. They will have their own police the way they would want it. But seeing what we have in a unitary federal government is very painful and will alienate the Igbos further away from the conscience of Nigeria.

If the governor can dualize the Opi-Nsukka road in a record time, why not dualize the Ibagwa-Abakpa road now as many estates are along the road..with more people moving to the area, with resultant traffic hold up? The funny thing is that this governor sets up more committees than any governor in Nigeria, but there has been no result from their works yet. Governance is about being proactive and thinking ahead.
