Tinubu tried to dissuade them from towing that path but they said he knew nothing about politics except activism.

Tinubu tried to sell his vision of the party becoming the ruling party in Nigeria but they told him that will be impossible. Please fact check this.

This incident led to breakdown of relationship and trust between Tinubu and those elders and he teamed up with some of the former AD governors to found AC. He was the founder and major financier of AC. Please fact check this.

On his quest for political territorial expansion, Tinubu accepted other political groups and pressure groups into AC and the name was changed to ACN. This same ACN teamed up with other parties to form APC.
