What was written in the electoral act. Have you confirmed that

Yes.

The Electoral Act doesn't make it compulsory for INEC to upload the results immediately after counting.

What will they do, that was the confidence instill till the matter got to court. You don't understand, this is election and not child's play. Gone are those days

You really don't know what we are talking about here. That's why most of you people do think they cheated you if you lose a case in the court.

This has nothing to do with confidence in the INEC but nitty-gritty of the law.

Making promise to you doesn't mean I must fulfill my promise.

And that includes Peter Obi. The embassy has records of how LP suppressed and prevented APC voters in Anambra, including the old man seen on video being pushed out of the polling unit. Peter Obi must not be given visa to visit anywhere outside Africa.

IfnobeGod20:

It seems some of you doesn't know the grouse in contention. Let me simplify it for you.
In many states of the federation there were votes suppression, meaning where LP got 20 and APC got 50, the structure of criminality changed it and made it looked as if LP got 10 while APC got 60. You see the same number of accredited votes still stands but the distribution of votes to parties changed and that was what happened in many states because of their dubious criminal structure.
Now if we have to use your logic. APC was said to win Rivers state for president but why didn't APC win same for governorship? Same thing for Zamfara. Governorship election is a local thing and quite different from presidential election where there is less interest, especially if the contestant is not an indigene of the said state.
Comparing state governorship election to presidential election is unwise for anyone based on the impulse of the country.
If the election is conducted again, the south east will still go absolutely to LP while south west will go for APC and the core north will still go for PDP because of the son of the soil in each zones. Please let us think deep when making submission on political configuration.

You only gave a statement that upholds Labour party's defeat at the polls.

Let's look at it from another angle.

Labour party scored more than 99% of most ballots cast in many eastern state. APC even scored less than 1% in one eastern state.

You people focused all your attention and strategies on the southeast, expecting support from the south-south, 50% from the north central and substantial amount of votes from Lagos.

The only hope you guys had from the core north was from Kaduna south and other christians from the north.

In the north central, it was glaring that you people will never get anything tangible from Kwara, Kogi and Niger.

Northwest has 7 states, northeast has 6 states plus 3 states from the north central, it all amounts to 16 states.

Please note that I didn't include any Yoruba state in the calculation.

36 - 16 = 20

If you guys got 25% from each state in Yorubaland, then you only have 20 states in the kitty.

Please note that I removed tribal or ethnic colouration from my explanation.

With the above stated hypothesis, do you think your candidate stands any chance of being declared aa the winner of the presidential election?

The process of the announcement isn't in line with what was promised by INEC. That alone is a strong reason not to talk of Tinubu drug case and 25% FCT.

Too much confusion from INEC because Mamood was so much in haste to announce his Father

INEC's promise is not tenable or enforceable in any court of law.

Have you heard of "intention to create legal relation"?

Absolutely! Go to court means no justice. They believed they own the court. Let's see what the Nigerian Judiciary will do as it concerns this case. The world is watching.

Even the court can't say Tinubu should be declared as President without sorting out all necessary issues. Why did INEC Chairman hurriedly mentioned Tinubu as the winner despite the fact that IREV couldn't upload results as promised.

No explanation when Dino Melaye openly questioned Mamood. Mamood knew his game plan, kept mute without any explanation. I don't see Tinubu winning this. No matter how far they think they can confuse the people, GOD has exposed them all.

The method INEC used is very disgraceful and extremely dubious. No explanation to the people when they asked you, you kept telling them in the middle of the game to go to court.

What a stupid INEC Chairman. It shows he lacks the experience to rig despite they planned rigging and GOD exposed them through the loopholes.

They all messed up with the wrong man which is PETER OBI (Our President).

Tinubu, you're a thief and you surely know this.

Your education is a waste!!!

Uploading on the IREV is not a condition for announcement or declaration of results.

Don't expect any court in this country to declare Obi the winner of the presidential election. Your candidate came third and he didn't even win 25% of votes cast in 24 states.

You people should not believe your candidate is the only one that must win or can win in the presidential election.

It was PDP who rigged the governorship election but they still lost.

Seun has always Been part of the problem... But it's sad that it's now that you people are seeing it because the Igbos are directly affected!!

I joined nairaland with my heart devoid of Tribalism... I'm not even a Muslim but an agnostic atheist who deviated from religion a very long time ago... So there's no any element of religious bigotry in me...

I only come here as of then to tell people about the north, the development, culture and political happening that most southerners have no understanding of...

I do come Here to clear Major misconceptions about the north... I spent years Here on Nairaland defending my region from people who their only aim in life is just to paint her black in every ramifications...

Yes the north is not perfect... And no region in Nigeria is better.... What we all need is consistent development in both human and infrastructure to get there....

I came here and discovered that the only thing sustaining this forum financially is ethno religious hate... The only thing keeping the forum alive is tribalism especially against the north.

At least the Igbos and the Yorubas on this forum get some protection And immunity... But northerner!!

Do you know how many times I was ban for posting beautiful picture of the north??

Do you know how many time I got ban for firing back at trolls?? While non of the trolls get banned??

Do you know that most beautiful thread I creat about northern development don't make it to the front page at some point??

Nairaland made it an agenda to frustrate every northerner out from this forum.

I stood strong... And remain resilience until I decide that it's OK, let move to somewhere that is more free, civilize and better which is Twitter...

And Thanks to the universe i have made a lot of progress there...

You are not alone on this.

I am a Yoruba man and I was banned from Nairaland because I called an Igbo guy "WERE ALASO" when he insulted me, my tribe and my party.

The worst part of the whole thing is that nothing was done to the guy.

Ceoangelcee:
I think the Igbo people still have a good shot at this presidency of a thing if they can field a candidate like Prof. Ngozi Okonjo Iweala.
.
With her vast knowledge of economies and her experience at the world stage, we can be certain she has all it takes. Wikipedia currently quotes her age to be 69 which makes her much younger than the incumbent president.
.
She is known for her neutral stance in ethno-religious commentaries and she has worked with several Nigerian presidents and world leaders.
.
.
In my opinion, most Nigerians will vote for this woman if she ever runs for office.

She can win if she does the following:

1. Shun tribal card.

2. Do away with religious card.

3. Let political bigwigs from other regions promote her.

4. Run on a platform of a party that has nationwide acceptance.

Ignorance is a sin.
The election is inconclusive because they have not held election in some places and the population of the registered voters there is higher than the margin between the two contestants.
