SAVE OUR HUSBANDS! Why do husbands in Africa die most times before wives? A husband in Africa in most cases is under intense tension because he is responsible for: Children school fees House rents Electricity bills Medical bills Generator fuel & repairs Car fuel and repairs Feeding of family Clothes for children Xmas and New year bills Furniture &House maint In-laws wahala/demand His own aged parents His siblings most times His wife's demands Vigilante bills Erecting Building Religious demands Family social bills Electronics bills Recharge cards Extended family bills Community demands On top of the above, he also faces: Wife stress/insults Boss stress at work Police stress on the way Area boys stress Kidnappers fear Friends stress Economy stress Fear of job loss Unemployment pains Armed Robbery stress Children misbehaviour Neighbours stress Bank loan paymnt stress Witchcraft stress Demonic attack stress Sex stress ....and so on! OMG!! Are these reasons not enough for all African Wives to understand and give their husbands peace at home? Are men not trying? How can an African man with this kind of load be romantic like an American man? Women, please give your husband peace at home. Encourage your husband. Stop being sarcastic to him. Except if you like to join the widows club early! Note: That club is not funny. Ask members. Help your husband. Contribute to the family. Be a helper. Be submissive. Stop nagging. Build your home and marriage. It is not greener outside there. Don't be deceived!! Let our men and husbands live long like you. Men dey beg una o ![]() |
This is just a tip of the ice berg...I am very sure that those who have really seen Akwa Ibom babes, will agree to the facts that many of them are very beautiful. This is just to counter a previous thread which showed about 5 ladies who where contesting Miss 'something' in Akwa Ibom, and they actually didn't really fit the contest. Here is Miss Nigeria International, an Akwa Ibom beauty, Christy Daniels. What can you say about this creation of God? ![]() Raise your hands if you are a proud Akwa Ibomite

NNAMDIII:Sir, what if I tell you that I am a well cultured individual who believes that respect is reciprocal ![]() |
juman:If you read the first and the last paragraphs of the post, maybe, you will understand the context of the post... The point isn't really, if we have fought and won wars before...Of course, we do make great marks in those we fight in... It equally not about North Korea...The country just came into my head... [b]The essence was to talk about some of their unprofessional actions against civilians...[b] |
DEATHMACHINE:A typical ill - bred fellow. Certainly not your type... |
DEATHMACHINE:You certainly have expressed your level of intelligence via your lack of capacity to understand the context of a writeup before you comment... Na you like Naija pass ![]() |
Emenandez4lyf:Hello...I am still awaiting such friendly...I was only worried about the NA treatment of civilians and not minding that they are superior so to say... Didn't know that someone will be so pained to call himself names... Anyway, I doubt we can win them ATM because I feel those guys are only surviving to fight wars... They train kids right from very tender age... |
Rossikki:Who are you, please? |
femolacqua:Honestly...I don't think we can match them o. We are so backward...not only with weapons...We are good in double rolling civilians and also 'peacekeeping" |
Emenandez4lyf:No...They make it free and fair...only with the artillery that each country has... |
Please, I am wandering when our military that intimidates civilians anyhow, will ever go to proper war...I don't mean boko haram o. That is not war. Honestly, since I was born, they have been training and the amount they spend on training should make them strong by now... So, I propose they should have a friendly war with any country and I suggest North Korea... Yes, you heard me well. Maybe, they will meet their mates and stop intimidating civilians... You can suggest a country...

omenkaLives:My dear...you are so right...I was still trying to reason the picture, when I decided to let go and read few comments...woolaaah...you made life easier for me, as too much cracking of brain these days no too good...lol Anyway, the op should do a better job with picture - writeup correlation next time... The can actually could have exploded outside the car and it burst the windshield, the reason the bottom of it is inside the burst windshield. On a second look, it could equally have busted the windshield from the inside, as stated by Mayflowa, taking a close look at the surroundings of the can...The splinters of the windshield seems to be pouring outside... |
Gkemz:Yes...however, in 1 Cor 7:15, Paul advise that if an unbeliever husband or wife leaves, he should be allowed to leave...He didn't conclude of the spouse can now remarry or not... so, what should one do in that case, if you where still very young and of a marriageable age? |
Toks2008:I won't try too hard to explain that... 1 - When it comes to Christianity. ..everyone is the same in God's eyes. No man...no woman. .. 2 - Your point of specificity in gender as it relates to marital instruction doesn't suffice...Just like we won't conclude that when the bible said "children honour thy parent in the Lord" meant only our biological parent. However, I will allow you to have your view as I don't claim mine to be superior... just don't see it as a debate dear "friend" |
I am writing this in an attempt to reason with OR correct the views held by (I hope, my friend) Toks2008. He holds the view that "a woman is permitted to divorce a man only due to DESERTION(abandonment) and he made attempt to quote 1 Cor 7:15 to buttress his point... I rather will advise that to understand Paul in his message to the churches in corinthian, one may have to read that portion of the bible from verse 1. When you do, you will see when Paul referred to God and when he stressed that he was speaking of his own and not from God...from vs 12 -15 (he said that it was his own statement and not from God) This portion actually was trying to explain the 2nd reason for divorce which is ABANDONMENT or DESERTION by an UNBELIEVER. And it was meant for both men and women. Matt 5:32 has Jesus confirming the law of Moses again in Matt 19:9...This doesn't mean that the law was meant for only men here rather it is by extension also binding to women...(reason being that in the kingdom of God, there is no man and no woman). AND REMEMBER Jesus was responding to the question raised by the Jews who specifically asked due to their selfish and domineering laws over women (Matt 19:1 - 9)... However, the bible says in Mal 2:16 that God hates divorce...this means that even though there are two grounds for divorce to be acceptable (Matt 19:9 & 1 Cor 7:15), it should be used be as a final resort...barring failure in every attempt for reconciliation... |
ChangeIsCostant:please no vex o...I ain't beefing the man...just ain't see the biggie about this post. KidsNEXTdoor:Ok Sir. ..me no just want people to be forced to do what they don't wanna do...There is recession and some persons eat from the petty trade they do daily... Nice and sometimes funny comments I read here... Well, I happen to have studied one of the much sort after professional courses in Nigeria cum the world... (ain't boasting but it is true). Finished my final exams...waited for about 5 months to be inducted into the profession... Went to Sokoto, just 3 days after induction, for interview, meant for a Mandatory 1 year training. Finished it and was shortlisted for NYSC about 2 weeks after. Finished NYSC and was invited for a job interview at Lag by a private firm(I guess I passed the interview, because I was always asked not to take another job, that the need to put finishing touches in one of their firms at Ibadan). Well, I stayed about a month and I wasn't comfortable staying that long, as it has never happened since I finished school. I applied for an opening in State Govt owned organization and I was invited for interview. After the interview, I was I formed that they are scared to hire me, as my profession is kinda "prostitution". I told them, they shouldn't be scared. On 26th Sept, I had a mail, for me to come and collect my appointment letter and start work on 2nd Oct... Well, my long throat was for the private firm, as I saw my growth in knowledge there. Besides, state govt and their pay wahala... I refused to go for the letter, while I called the private firm to inform them of the situation and my preference...This made the HRM to plead and assure me that I have the job and I should give them 3 weeks. Having waited and calling for me to come and collect the letter for 4 days...I decided to mail back and reject the offer from the govt organisation. The man called and reminded me that he once said that I will not stay...I politely responded that it was better I reject the offer than accept it and later leave in few days or weeks. (he wasn't too happy but he liked my sincerity). He is a good friend till date and one of my very few Professor friends. 30th Oct, I was called to come to Lag, collect my appointment letter and resume on 5th Nov...The funny thing is, as I was trying to familiarise and enjoy the work there, I had another offer 2 weeks after starting, from a Fed Govt Parastatal in PH and it was a better offer because of job security and closer home, not necessarily the pay. It wasn't easy, as I was battling how to get a soft landing, and not necessarily making this private firm feel bad. I searched for a replacement for them and had to form a lie on why I can no longer work for them... (don't ask what the lie was). Sorry for the long epistle Yeah, I may have kinda rejected few jobs. |
wait a minute...no...no...no... What did you just say? smhYou are not corrupt sir. You are corruption. #allpoliticianslie |
My driving skills is about 65% that of 007...ain't scared of even snow. Rainy days only improve them. My only fear is the damage water can do to my fan belt...yeah, it's a saloon car. However, it's good to be safe than sorry. ..take the op's advice and free me... ![]() |
