No bro, I think its pronounced as "yawn-day"

Bro, it is a Korean name and the Hy is pronounced as Sh while the dai is day, so the pronunciation of Hyundai is Shunday...
Politics / Ikoyi #13b Cash Discovery - My Take by Stoicbaba(m): 9:29am On Apr 22, 2017
Without conceding or seeking to exonerate anyone who is to be apportioned blame, where necessary, I must state my take;

That such a huge amount of money was discovered: was either a very good job by the whistle blowing entity, or a very shabby job by a supposedly "intelligence" agency.

That a cash amount could be designated for intelligent operation and such not domiciled in a bank, for secret/special duties: it isn't a new event worldwide as such could not be traced.

That such a special duty(including the amount involved) was not communicated to the new NSA(if at all it wasn't) and onward explanation of same to the current President: begs for explanation from the NIA boss.

So, if the "special" operation was concluded, such money should have been returned to the CBN or if it wasn't, the NSA should be fully aware of the cash and the ongoing operation.

Equally, if the information is true about an operation and the NIA boss is coming out to explain same to the current President, I feel proper investigation should have been the first step and not a media frenzy that is ongoing. Because, those kind of operations is always carried out with absolute deniability attached.

So, I bet the NIA boss may have done a bad job in handling the situation OR the EFCC in its bid to be seen to do a good job, rushed over the exposure of the stash...

These are my deductions and like I said earlier, does not in anyway intended to exonerate ANYONE...(I would have said more, but most social media visitors have problems with reading )

As a popular pool, that hotel is supposed to have life guards on stand-by whether or not they're having a busy day at the pool angry It could have been prevented if there was a lifeguard to save them or at least raise alarm so they can be saved on time. angry

People that visit the pool have to observe the rules and know their limits. As a learner myself, nothing fit carry me go the deep part of pool.

RIP, Feel sorry for their parents.

Crime / The Voice Of The Voiceless by Stoicbaba(m): 12:32pm On Apr 17, 2017
After going through the pictures of destructions and those that were murdered allegedly by fulani herdsmen/criminals, I can't but wonder when all these boldness all began...

It is a pity to note that it coincides with the beginning of this current administration. For I wonder what it will take before a firm stand is taken by the people we call, our leaders.

When Nnamdi Kanu called Nigeria, a zoo, I frowned at the statement, yet each day, a tale of these kind of killings all but confirm his reasonings and that there are calculated attempt at subduing other ethnic/religion by force...

I weep at the lives being murdered everyday in Kaduna, Benue, Enugu and other states... (tears rolling down). Especially when they are being intimidated not to defend themselves (if they keep guns for defense...The government agents will arrest them for illegal possession of firearm OR knives and spears...They will be charged of planning treason). While the evil ones that murder them in their sleep and homes are moving freely, unabated with firearms (excuses being made for them, that they are not carrying weapons for destruction)...tears rolling down.

What will it take, for our government to be sincere in handling this issue?

I challenge our so called leaders...rise up now and protect those within your jurisdiction or very soon, the dog will turn around and attack the owner...yes, I mean very soon.

No matter where your children and wives are, they will be hunted by foreigners. .. you all will shed an inconsolable tears, you will mourn and weep...yet no one will come to your aid.

Your guards will murder you in your sleep, your drivers will turn against you, your maids will poison you.

...For there is no rest to the wicked.

As for the youths, who turn everything to be about politics, religion etc...I shake my head for you all, for your state shall never be better, rather it will deteriorate and you will curse no other, but your foolishness and lack of action. certainly, no one will be there to help you...

If you take this statements to be curses...It is rather a prayer against those who can but fail to act. If you change and act now, with your little ability, blessings shall attend to you, now and for your posterity...

Sports / Lions Don't Compare Themselves With Humans - Ibrahimovic by Stoicbaba(m): 7:31am On Apr 05, 2017
Ibracadabra at it again...

After the Tuesday EPL match between Man Utd and Everton that ended in one all draw. The ManU talisman was asked if he thinks he is the best player in EPL, having scored their late equaliser via the spot kick, but he responded that He thinks Lukaku is stronger and Aguero better all round.
Probably, he meant they were better placed to carry the highest goal scorers, taking into consideration age.
However, when he was pressed further by the Journalist, if he would still consider himself better, re responded in a comical way, thus; "Lions don't compare themselves with human"... ;DIbracadabra at it again...
