Harbioollah: This is why i still stick with GTB.
I think its too late now. The embassy would definitely reject his Zenith account as i think they look at how regularly money has been entering the account for the past six months. And since he hasn't been banking with Zenith for a while, its gonna cost him. I am delighted to know that you understand my plight. How can a bank be like this ? Imagine a bank that should serve the purpose of helping you achieve your goals and dreams is now your debacle. |

Galads: Enterprise bank formerly spring bank. Very stupid bank, operated with them since 2006 up till 2012 and during this intervals, I had never had an atm card even if I had applied several times. will advice you to pull off your cash, go activate your zenith bank and at same time apply for atm, you get it 5 working days. Don't allow enterprise bank scatter your future o. I have done my research, Heritage Bank is a regional bank and a product of the remnant of that funny bank SOCIETIE GENERAL BANK (largely owned by late Dr. Olusola Saraki, the father of the Senate President Bukola Saraki) and now Heritage Bank has acquired Enterprise Bank. I wish I knew all this. I am at their main branch in Ilorin currently, there's a woman with her baby sitting and playing on the table their customer service unit and the guy is laughing as if he is at home playing with his son, the guy here just told me even the prepaid card isn't possible. Thanks |

meimoks: Maybe you should go and activate your zenith bank account in the interim thanks. One problem with that option is that the embassy will surely be skeptical of an account you reopened just to deposit money and print the statement. That for sure is a ground for refusal and that's why I am in pains |

gurus in the house pls enlighten me with your comments.... I am applying for student visa for Czech Republic. One of the requirements is my bank statement(which is ok for the requirement) AND the photocopy of my ATM CARD. I bank with Enterprise bank and I have since applied for the ATM CARD from my branch in Kwara State. I went to the bank after 2 weeks but was thrown into a sea of bewilderment when the guy told me they have stopped producing ATM cards cuz they are undergoing some operation and organization changes. I called their customer service where I was told this MIGHT not be true. Now I am planning to travel to their headquarters in Lagos to discuss my problem with them. Now my predicament is that my appointment is so near and I need this ATM CARD within 5 working days (Friday). Guys pls what can I do?.....by the way pls if u have an account with Enterprise bank pls consider tour future and interest while u bank with them. |

dcitizen: @daniel cool,
here is the solution to your challenge.
Recognistion of your sssce or gce can be done here in nigeria. The process is simple and straightforward. Go to abuja and get ur way to ministry of education to get your document authenticated. After that, take the said document to minstry of foreign affair to legalise the document. Finally, take the legalised document to czech embassy at abuja to superlegaised it. Superlegalisation costs 5000 naira and it is only done on tuesday from 10am to 4pm. Only on tuesday. Authentication at moe cost between 1000 to 1500 for express or a day job and the same for legalisation at minstry of foreign affair(moa). U can completed this process in two days if you leave for abuja on sunday. If you need contact for moe and moa job, i can give you a contact. Somebody can do the superlegisation for you. Pls ensure that you ssce is valid. Only the original certificate is superligalised. Not the photocopy. Call the embassy to confirm bros pls I need your help on this legalization and super legalization. Pls kindly send me ya email or email me.Pls I need to have this done and I am far from Abuja. |

From the information at my disposal, u can do the recognition after you arrive Czech Republic. All u have to do is work on your visa, then notarize your docs and take them to the Czech Republic for recognition. danielcool: Hello good day all, I was searching for details about Czech until I came across this trend. I need a little help here, I recently applied to Tomas Bata University in Zlín. I got a letter say I have my place but for my admission letter to be sent to my address here in Nigeria i have to get my Secondary School Certificate Recognized there in Czech, So i called the school and they told me i have to take my Certificate to my ministry of education get it notarized and after which i have to take it to the embassy in my country to get it legalized before i send it for recognition. Please I want to know if anyone here passed through this process and if yes how long did it take for it to get recognized in czech.
I attached the letter i received but sorry i had to erase the house address
Thank you |

connect2danny: Its nothing more than what is stated on their website. No touts and racketeers around the building, The officials were very friendly, took their time to explain the entire process bit by bit.
Depending on the school, payment of tuition before interview is not mandatory. Translation of documents (basically Criminal record character and medical report) has to be done by a translator recommended by the embassy and am personally yet to do mine.
Based on what I inquire from one of the officials, the embassy are more interested in the balance on bank statement. letter of sponsorship from sponsor may not necessarily be translated
They used to be written exams. while I was there, another official told me that some students were currently writing exams, verbal visa interview commence just after the written test. by the balance on statement. Do you mean my own bank statement or that of my sponsor. And please how much is expected to be in my OWN bank statement, minimum. Bank statement of the sponsor is made optional on their website, meaning itsnt compulsory. I just want to he clear on this pls |

kaypopps: that is not true. you can credit your block account directly from the bank. request for form A , go along with your copy of passport data page, your nysc cert, your degree cert, your blocked account details, print the info for student visa on the german website because it shows that you should fund ur blocked account with a minimum of 7980 for student visa(that is the proof you need to show for the tranfer of the blocked money which is for ur lliving expenses),purpose of tranfer- lliving expenses for visa write a letter of the bank authorizing them to debit ur account for the equivalent naira of the euro you want to send. shikena . they will gladly tranfer it for you wow what a tip....i hope this will work with GTB, I will talk to them 2mao. Tnx bro |

thank God this thread is alive once again..i have also been offered admission to study Mechanical Engineering at Czech Technical University in Prague. pls is it true that there exist age restriction on both the visa for undergraduate and postgraduate studies. on the bank statement of the sponsor, i think that is optional as written on their website. Pls kindly enlighten us. Are u in Czech Republic. The denial or approval rate?....thanks in advance bro Demaejy: 1- The embassy have their own translator as of last time I checked. Check the embassy website, you will see the contact of him.
2 - Yes, at least first semester tuition. If you have checked the visa requirements you will see " Proof of tuition payment "
3 - Check the embassy website they explained everything in detailed. Note that he must have money on his own account as well as his sponsor making two statement of accounts and you must show your debit card. No sane embassy ignores the importance of inflow and outflow of cash in a account. Avoid money lodgement.
4 - It is advised to use Government General/State Hospital in your state.
Hope have answered your questions? Goodluck |

victz: I don't know if they do it in your state. There is a kind of biometric data that will be taking from you. Your finger-prints will be taking. Other security measure will be taking too. Try your state and see if you can get it done there. The only place I know they do it is Alagbon. That was were my coursin did his own. There is no harm in trying. You can try the police headquarters in your state and be sure before coming to Lagos. I have asked here and was told to come with 22K just for a piece of paper in the name of criminal record character. My plan now is to travel down to Lagos hoping that I can get it for a far cheaper price and probably the same day. Thanks for your reply bro |
