Guys, any trading platform that does not honor buy or sell limits should be rejected, cos it will make u loose a lot of money by buying at outrageous or unregulated price s or selling below target price

We don't have that luxury of seeing those details on these apps yet.
I have also tried limits and they always failed.
We can hope for more competition to see who offers better services going forward.

Who are the people manipulating prices
Don't believe everything you read or hear o cool
When market is ready, nobody will stop its movement either downward or upward cool

Oga have u heard of market makers(your stock brokers, e.g stanbic ibtc) they control a huge part of some company's share, they have both the knife and the yam.

Who told you am speaking based on hearsay. I have access to realtime market activities on the floor. And have monitored market activities for many years.
And yes market prices are also manipulated to move upwards.
No natural forces of demand and supply determining price. All are artificially created in NSE by the market makers.

"When the market is ready"!! Who is the market?? Abeg let's stop deceiving ourselves and accept reality. The earlier the better!
Investment / Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by stokfrick: 11:18am On Oct 29, 2019
Nigerian stock market don CAST.
Broad day light manipulation everywhere! Just to prevent prices from moving up.
Very sad indeed!!!

MSCI started their activity for the year by going for a selection of some banking stocks that were already in their portfolio

How come Fidelity cannot break this 2.92 resistance It stayed long at 3.05 and then came back to 2.92.

Don't worry, there are some weak hands that plan to sell at DAT price. They are moved by the bull ride of the other penny banks. But as soon as they are done selling, that resistance will be broken. More so, this pullback is necessary and will be shallow and some of them weak hands will come back to buy at higher price.
Also watching the pullback volume carefully, u'll notice that some of the deep pockets r buying up and already positioning for dividend wink
Also adding the fact DAT especially now most prices are up, fundamentals will take the front sit.

Don't be surprised if it doesn't gain 15% after result show (not saying it may not get to 4.5) but this is NSE
Same thing should apply to other stocks enjoying d recent rally. After results, price movement of stocks will depend largely on dividend yield. And fidelity will surely give a better dividend yield. Well it all depends on their share price then grin
