Regarding payment, it's done via bank transfer. No card payment option. It takes at most 2 business days to reflect. Only person I can remember complaining about withdrawal issues, she was duly compensated by passfolio.

Regarding buying/selling, when you're converting currency, there's spread. The rate at which you buy is not the same as the rate at which you sell.
With passfolio, you buy at 484/usd and sell at 475/usd. All Nigerian brokers have such spread. Also, if you choose to avoid spread, you can deposit and withdraw via a domiciliary account. However, I think withdrawal fee is pegged at 35usd.

If you plan on day trading, passfolio charges 100usd PA for you to have full access (features such as stop loss)

I'll choose passfolio over any Nigerian broker

But passfolio has issues. alot of complains in this thread about it ranging from bank transfer/withdrawal issues, to platform sluggishness
to lack of card payment options.

Secondly, some one here complained that they charge clients money to place buy/sell limit orders meaning your only option is buying at market price. This is the first time I am hearing of this kind of service.

So how long have you been with them and what have your personal experience with them been like?

So apart from trading 212, are there no other good online foreign brokers that those resident in Nigeria can register with easily?

They should just ban these stock option and allow stock investment/trading to go on naturally. No need for all these investment/trading wars.
It'll cause more problems for stock traders and make the stock market loose its beauty

Pls during registration on T212, how do I attach my bank statement ? I have a hard copy of the past 4months bank statement (51 pages).

I have never withdrawn from any of my platforms including T212 so I can't say about withdrawals.
What I advise to ensure you get your payment in USD is to fund your account via a dorm account.
If you have to do a card transaction, get a debit card (ATM) for your dorm account and use.
There is then no way they will be converting to naira when all they have is your USD account card.

So far, my UBA and StanbicIBTC USD cards have worked.
Don't know if there are any further restrictions as to volume of cash per period.

A dollar card can't operate without a dorm account.
From my days as a banker, I can tell that every card originates from the base account from which it is operated.

From your personal experiences using dollar cards tied to dom accounts, which banks have their dollar card working with T212 for withdrawal and deposit(through Gpay).
Are there banks whose dollar card do not respond with T212?

Secondly, can a dollar card operate without a dom account?

There is absolute nothing these brokers can offer you that T212 cannot.
Robinhood use to reject Nigerian investors years back, don't know if the policy has changed.

Pls which bank's USD card does T212 honor for now. Also, Which do you use. Any other person's input is also welcomed.

I disagree with the telegram group. This is a company, you should contact the customer care department if you have any question. It is not a one man Ikeja business. You won’t ask google, Facebook, Robinhood or Ameritrade to create a telegram group for you

But other fintechs like it also have their telegram groups. And through this telegram group, custmercare can instantly reach out to clients.
They don't also have a phone contact.

All withdrawals have been processed on time except for three. Two withdrawals had an error saying the bank was unavailable at the time of the request. When this happens we resubmit the withdrawal periodically until it processes. One of these happened maybe 1-2 weeks ago and was completed and there is another one right now we are working on processing.

One additional problem has come up with a misconfiguration in Flutterwave that we are working to fix ASAP that is impacting one withdrawal (I'm guessing yours). We only recently launched the Nigeria forex support so this bug is new but Flutterwave should fix the issue Wednesday Nigeria time. You did select instant so it should have processed by now - if you're the user that emailed support we already replied and gave a reward for the amount of the fees because of the issue. You can buy stock as low as $1 but each platforms have different minimum amount to deposit. I'm using Bamboo, their minimum amount to deposit is $20

Does bamboo have a phone contact or telegram group?

I opted for passfolio, you don't need a bill just bvn and passport.

It's also great for taxation, won't say more about this

Having tried all of them ,t212 is the best for trading, limited ETFs and difficult to fund.

Passfolio is the best for funding , fees , but has teething issues (a lot), mostly ux and functions.

All in I've settled with t212 for fast trades and passfolio for long term.

One key advantage of passfolio for long term, less fees and you can withdraw in dollars even if you deposited in naira, which isn't an option on trove, bamboo and chaka.

Pls, Can u clarify on what u mean by "Mostly ux and functions?"

My fear with these foreign brokers is that, going by the red flag/bad orientation they already have about Nigerians shouldn't we be afraid that they might ban Nigerians at any moment just like some're already doing? Then what becomes of someone's hard earned money?

NKLA is a very volatile stock.
Interestingly, you intend holding short term as your technical charts might have shown.

They are fundamentally far from profitability as they are looking at first production in 2021 with orders being received for manufacturing of trucks.

If you are confident of what the charts is saying, then time your entry perfectly and trade purely on technical grounds.

Your point is good. But talking about profitability as a yardstick for upward/downward price movements- I have notice most US stocks rallying up have not even been profitable over some period of time and have been reporting -ive EPS. So what do u say?
