For God's sake, is this how the NSE wants to boost investors confidence in the NSE?
How on earth could they be so heartless to tie down peoples money?are investors the cause of Morgan's problem? This method is just too bad!
It must be changed!

For all Morgan Capital clients like me should know these

NSE suspension was to protect your investments So no trading while there's management issue.
Morgan Capital Bank account is currently frozen so Morgan Capital cannot run away with your money.

So the new way to protect investors investment is to bar them from having access to their stocks, while they sit down and watch their money go down angry

From my experience, if you place a buy limit order on stock, it won't be executed until he stock gets to your limit price.

e.g if Oando currently trading for N5, and you place your buy limit order @N4.80, your orders won't be implemented until the gets to N4.80.

Have u used Itrade platform b4?
I don't think u have, cos u would have understood where I am coming from!
I am not talking of when your order gets executed. What I am talking about is the time it takes for it to appear in the bid or ask window of the platform, immediately after clicking the submit button! Because it has to appear in the bid window first b4 u start waiting for the market to get to ur price.
That of itrade appears instantly, immediately after clicking submit!

I can't see it on the BID window yet.

Though i noticed some BIDs with more orders.

My question is, since the BID is lower than the current price, with it appear on as BIDs NSE system immediately?

Exactly my point!
U wouldn't see your bid or sell order in the respective bid or sell window until 10 or more mins after u click submit! And if it does not appear on the bid window, it annot be executed! This is my problem with lead trader. With this kind of system you just stay and watch, while others with instant execution platform get their orders filled in and executed fast!

Well, I have been trading with lead for six years, and 80% of my orders are executed within +/-2 mins.
Any delay More than 30mins is usually due to the bid/ offers on the stock.

If you're buying stock with full like CONOIL(Aug/sep preriod) your order might not be executed in two days.

If selling stocks like, starcoms grin, Dunlop grin, Japul grin
Your orders might not be executed within two years grin

The orders u r talking about, do u enter them as limit orders or market orders?

There's a problem here! Leadtrader? No way! Not even for a medium to long term investor. Instant entry/exit of an order is very key!
The best 4 a trader would have been meristem or any broker with an itrade platform but their charges 4%(total buy and sell charges) are too high for jijo or short termers!
Pls if any of u know any broker using Itrade platform with low charges pls let us know!

U can try it if u doubt me!

Guys have u noticed that when you enter a limit/market order trade on lead trader, it takes up to not less than 10mins for your order to appear in the
Buy and sell order window on other fast real time platforms like the I trade platform. Meaning that leadtrader platform is not capable of real time instant execution on buy or sell orders.
And this is not good at all for a smart active trader cos it will always lead to loosing golden opportunities!

But I also noticed that that of meritrade is instant execution

You are right. Morgan laid a legacy for others to follow (itrade) in terms of commision. I wish they rectify their problem on time.
If they increase their commission, better! But it should come along with increased quality of service! angry

@ mercy

I can tell there is a block of 10k out of the 222,119 unit traded today.

FO is one of the stock you need to hold a long spoon to eat with the big boys on nse grin

Its almost impossible for u not to have a block of 10k units traded out of 222,119

Its possible DT no single trade of 10,000 units occurred to change/ move d price to d trading price on d floor.

By this I mean, if d stock price is 137, if there is a bid of 9000 units @130 it will fly if there is an equivalent offer. Bt for the price to move from 137 to 130 on the price list, a block trade of 10k units must be traded for a large cap stock eg fo or a block sale of 50k units for small caps stocks eg fcmb

This point / rule I raised here is very important if u want to be good in maniputing stock prices. U can do it if u own substantial units of a stock and also have d muscle to buy. You can push d price up or down. Not only mm can do it

So mercy, do u think its possible the above condition was not met and they did not manipulate the prices?
Just want to be sure. Cos this scenario has played out in this fo before and I lost reasonably due to it.
