PoliticsRe: FG Insists On Fuel Price Slash At Meeting With Dangote Refinery, Marketers by stokfrick: 3:52pm On Jul 07
As at mid to late February before the Iran war started, brent was 69-75$/ per barrel, while pump price of fuel from dangote refinery was b/w 780-850.
So why has he refused to drop the price back to where it was before the war started?
This business man is a thief and heartless.

You lie.The failed government will be kicked out next yr. I thought they could Sustain one thing they call achievement. Which is the ASi.Then again they are failing on it so the market will soon enter speed line of red till the failed government is kicked out.
Hmm, and if they don't get kicked out?
Emotions don't win elections in Nigeria.
We go dey here now.
But I for like make them kick am out oh, but if we face the facts, presently e go hard.

“My first interpretation of the H2 2026 outlook is in the context of the pre-election year we are currently in. In pre-election years, the stock market tends to be strong from January to May, and then we start seeing some weakening from June. That decline tends to be very strong in August and September — in fact, in the pre-election years we analysed, the ASI was actually negative in both months.”- Mr. Abiodun Ogunniyi, Head of Research, GTI Securities

It will be terrible if this trend continues till August! sad
There won't be much bear, cos the forthcoming election outcome is very predictable and almost like walk in the park for the incumbent government.
You can tell from the recent elections.

They succeeded in wasting my time today. I bidded for a share and it was on pending list for a long time. I later thought the order was executed as my order turned green. I am surprised to see that my money was credited back and no share appeared on my portfolio.

Lesson learnt :You need to register with two to three stockbrokers in case one fails you. This is another level of diversification. cool
Pls can you check if they sent you any purchase contract note in your email

I just tire for parents these days. They have just decided to turn everything upside down.
No decency, no morals whatsoever, no common sense. Just do everything anyhow, and carelessly. I wonder the kind of children we are raising for the next generation.
They just end up contaminating other decent kids.

Someone as enlightened as you are should also have heard that the solar panel tax is to be imposed on residents in Lagos Government owned housing estates and not state wide. It only makes common sense that if one is affected, all you need do is simply pack out. It is always unfortunate when people that are presumed to be knowledgeable join the bandwagon of misinformation.
My brother just give it a little more time, they will extend it to other non government owned houses.
This country is just cursed with very wicked individuals as leaders and followers.
Just to provide stable regular power is rocket science. Ok, people now work hard to generate their own power, and you're looking for how to frustrate them.
In developed countries you are paid by the government to contribute the excess solar power you generated to the grid.

Mankind2024:
UBA’s strategic positioning in financial derivatives is expected to yield substantial profits in the second half of the year. The bank has already taken a conservative approach by fully provisioning for worst-case outcomes.
So what banks now do is to just make provisions for loans from profit available without any effort to recover the loan, and CBN will just facilitate it. While shareholders are the sacrificial lambs.
is that not encouraging corruption?
I don't understand.

Stanbic looks like it's entering a new phase of repricing. Is it possible that other tier 1 banks will follow suit, considering the new capital consolidation and frontier reclassification of ngx.

What I understand is that some people here are surprised and intimidated by some other peoples achievements and refuse to accept it publicly even though they know deep down it's true.
The truth is mankinds achievements is very possible, though I don't know him personally.
Even without playing the very long term game, ngx is not like nyse and has a pattern that can be mastered even if you decide to play the medium/short term game regularly.
All you need is discipline and consistency.

All these nonsense happening especially in lagos are what contribute to increasing house rent.
Leaving this God forsaken country is the best thing that can happen to any family. That's why I am not too keen on building any house.
