LegendHero:Sometimes when you want to pity the government, only to realise that they can make N90b available for pilgrimage, then you realise that they do not deserve any consideration. Let the Labour Unions hold out for as much as N120k per month, which is less than $100. That would take us close to the 2011 era when the minimum wage of N18,000 was more than $100 (N16,000). If there is no money to continue paying the N120k minimum wage, the political class should bear the brunt until they start working for free. Only then will Nigerians conclude with the wasteful government that Nigeria is not as rich as we continue to waste on the political class, and renegotiate a minimum wage that is acceptable to all. |
Exactly! |
He eventually realised he had a responsibility as the CSO of the state. |
When an ant thinks she built the world, mistaking an anthill for the world skyscrapers. My own happiness is that at the said event, she had to see Tinubu as her President.
|
A party that can just give it's presidential ticket to a political prostitute and ticket hunter who was not even a member of the party and only saw it as a Special Purpose Vehicle, is not worthy of the INEC registration that it has. |
And it came to pass that Obi contesting the 2023 presidential election, was the best pathway for Tinubu attaining the Nigerian Presidency. |
The cost is the price for curiosity. |
TimeManager:It was highly irresponsible of the Governor. He has started to learn that political leadership is not the same as corporate leadership. |
raskymonojendor:He wanted to show solidarity with terrorists. All those who showed solidarity with Kanu when he was granted bail, all lived to regret their actions. |
Good actions by the Governor in dissociating from IPOB and also accepting his responsibility as the CSO of the state that he previously disregarded when IPOB began their threats. |
PresidObi:I do not recall that bodejo is asking that he must have his way as the leader of a people who already have democratic and constitutional leadership. Every separatist state in the world, who are hoping to break free from their mother country, have their separatist ambitions being championed by the recognised leadership of that region. I ask again, who the hell is the riff-raff called Nnamdi Kanu and his IPOB to be demanding that they must be listened to and engaged in discussion by the government of Nigeria? |
And some say we should release the mad man who started all this nonsense? A madman who wanted to use terrorism to supplant the existing democratic and constitutional leadership of the Igbo people of the 5 SouthEast states within the greater Nigeria? Some even said dialogue with him. As in dialogue with any riff-raff who manages to inflict terror on the people just to have his own personal way? How can any mad man just wake up and insist he is the one who must be obeyed and whose demands must be accepted by all who already have a recognised political representation in the country. If Kanu can be accepted, then any other mad man with violence and threats to dispense can also be accepted as speaking for a people who have all turned cowards. Kanu will only be free when he dies. |
alizma:The OP or the Mods have edited the headline to reflect the actual news content before they moved it to the front page. This was the previous headline. Which is a threat that was never made in the news content. "We are going to deal with Aisha Yesufu and her family" |
She tried for her kids and was, there for her grand kids. She lived a fulfilled life. |
ganisucks:Every poster has seen that you are the one being mischievous. You do not have to stoop so low. Admit your error and edit your title accordingly. |
Sensational headline. Topic and content are in total disagreement. |
Esama:You mean childish like "not my President" or "not my National Anthem"? As we all can see now, reality will always be reality, while delusion will always stay lonely and isolated. Can you see how bitter and isolated she looks at that event?
|
blacknp:She has no choice but to live in reality. |
Obi was dragged mercilessly by Reno. The shame was too much for Adaobi to bear. If Anambra citizens were dragging Obi the way Reno is dragging the charlatan, he would have used his 8yr tenure to outperform Ngige who used only 3years.
|
The camera man caught her napping, as she looks at a page on the event program that displays President Tinubu of Nigeria. When we tell you that who God has blessed, no riff-raff can curse. Despite the sorrow in her heart, she could not help to see Tinubu as President even when she refuses to stand for the national anthem of her country. For those who live in delusion, remember that your delusion cannot undo reality. See President Tinubu staring back at the deluded bitter soul whose candidate was defeated at the last election.

I love that Yoruba youths are learning how to give gbas for gbos when it is coming from where the sun rises. |
Eagleways:Reason with commonsense. Tinubu is, already the President of all of Nigeria. Atiku and Osinbajo are already Vice Presidents, so they can only aspire to the Presidency. Only those who have remained at the state level or never been in the Presidency have been mentioned. If Tinubu can rule Lagos excellently, he would do so for Nigeria, and time will tell so. Focus on the politicians whose level is still suitable for regional leadership, like Obi, like Fashola, like Umahi, Like Kwankwaso. Tinubu is not at that level being already the Federal President. |
Kafirbigot:Who are the they? Any riff-raff constituting a nuisance to public peace would be put down. The government of Nigeria does not recognize they, but recognize those who have been elected democratically to represent the people and make demands on their behalf. Any rabid terrorist will be put down. |
Some people just like fighting foolish issues. The leadership has always determined what is the national anthem, the followership is meant to comply. There was a public competition to determine the post independence national anthem that was adopted on 1st October 1960. Just as there was also a public competition to determine the military national anthem in 1978. The democratic leadership now has thought it best to return to the initial anthem, and this had support from the different political parties who constitute the National Assembly. This happened via a democratic and constitutional process. So any mgbeke feeling funky and using that to protest privately, should keep their protest private. |
What is the rationale behind your comparison of Palestine with a non existing Biafra? Why do you lots like comparing apples to oranges? One is a people whose land that they have occupied for over a thousand years was encroach on by Jewish refugees from Europe who had no where else to go but to be looking for where their ancestors had previously committed genocide just to usurp and occupy. The other is a people who are a part of a country where they already exploit their citizenship to access opportunities in every nook and cranny of that country, but a certain self appointed riff-raff who does not consider the democratic rights of the people, wants to use fear and terror to control the people and usurp the existing democratic leadership and constitutional representation they already have within the Nigerian state. Simply put, if Igbos want to be separated from Nigeria, the political leadership as voted by Igbos would table that demand within the allowed democratic process. Any riff-raff terrorist that wants to use terrorism to advance his own seperatist perspective and persuasion, will be put down. |
Hahahahahaha! Time for abuse to be heaped on his head by the fascist mob. |
Melagros:Exactly! I have worked on many oil projects in Nigeria and along the coast of West Africa. Crude Oil is nothing unique to any particular part of the world or West Africa. |
AustineE1:The Igbo would always remain Igbo. |
Ok |
MEGAWATCH:Na you go chase am commot? Or he will sign a bill that will chase himself away? |
spyder880:I like how even the greatest of Peter Obi supporters finally acknowledge he is fit only for the regional level of politics. Or you small minds think Atiku or Osinbajo were left out of these permutations owing to slight or error? A former Vice President is only fit to become President, while the local champions should stay at their local level until they can rub shoulders with those at the national level. President Tinubu, na man you be.
