Peter Obi is a man of modest means. He is neither a thief or drug lord. You know spending drug money is usually extravaganza

Modest means but rich enough to hide his wealth in offshore accounts under his daughter's name?

He is not a thief but a wholesomely corrupt charlatan who domiciled state funds in the bank he had interests and was a former Chairman.

Or do we talk about investing state funds in the brewery he also had significant interests?

Which Governor was found with N250m cash in his convoy?

Her Majesty over His Excellency, any day any time.

You cannot give what you do not have.

Obi does not have standard.

Little wonder the Anambrarians then were complaining bitterly about how useless he was as a Governor.

You mean as President, this is the quality he will provide on a national scale because it is multiples being installed?

Will you as Governor or President provide this 15th Century infrastructure and pay the contractor for a job well done?

Peter Obi is so shamelessly stingy.

Like a tale of 2 ICT Centers between 2 Senators.

Even you complained about this rubbish charlatan when he was a useless Governor.

You know that Borehole is rubbish and typical of Obi's obsession with cheap articles.

One was installed by a very rich man hiding his wealth in foreign offshore accounts under his daughter's name.

He was infamous for always using cheap articles and even as Governor he was providing cheap infrastructure that could not compete with the standard of his predecessors or successors.

The other was installed by a Musician who is only just climbing the ladder to riches.

Those who love quality will vote for Ayra Starr over a charlatan.

Her Majesty's Water Service over His Excellency's Water Supply.

Oga shut that latrine.
Youre talking nonsense.

That personality you’re according Sanwo, was Yar’ Adua’s and Jonathan’s. Sanwo is just a houseboy of Bladablu. It’s not humility. It’s cluelessness.
Sanwo is a bot. That’s what you see.

Who was accessible to Jonathan and Yar'Adua the recluse?

Even Obasanjo was more outgoing and accessible than any of those 2 you mentioned.

Shut the latrine in your house.

Sanwo Olu is becoming too petty and idle at the moment.

The problem with Sanwo-Olu is that he is too humble, accessible, and available for Nigerians who have been so mentally abused and dehumanized by the military and those in power over the years.

This commendable feature of Sanwo-Olu is a weakness when juxtaposed with the masses around him, hence why he becomes an easy target to be maligned and vilified with every opportunity.

No Governor in any state in any particular crisis situation has embraced the protesters the way Sanwo-Olu did during the End SARS protest, yet he was insulted while in their midst, but still took their complaints personally to Aso Rock to deliver to President Buhari for prompt action.

We all know that he declared a curfew to eventually end the protests and allow economic activities to return to the Alausa and Lekki axes of Lagos, but we all saw how the subsequent Police/Army assault on the stubborn protesters at the Lekki toll gate was put on his head and how the assets of the state were vandalized as a result with many misguided youth vowing then and attempting to get him sacked at his re-election in 2023.

Meanwhile, the politicians who do not care about anyone striking or protesting, or being killed extra-judicially in the states where they rule, have become the darling candidates to be supported.

Politics / Re: I’m Learning On The Job, I Won’t Drag Power With Obaseki — Omobayo Godwins by StOla: 6:03am On Apr 09
The new deputy governor was unambiguous that his becoming deputy governor, months to the expiration of the eight-year tenure of Obaseki, was part of the political permutations for Ighodalo to defeat his closest contenders like LP’s Olumide Akpata and Monday Okpebholo of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Godwins boasted that he has robust grassroot support from his base in Akoko Edo, one of the local governments in the Edo North Senatorial District, to boost the chances of Ighodalo, who hails from Ewohimi in the Esan South-East Local Government Area of Edo Central Senatorial District.

StOla:
That singular move is to eliminate Akoko-Edo support for Olumide Akpata.

When we that know the political game give our assessment of a political move, political babies should learn and not argue. Some even tried to correct my assertion by claiming that Olumide Akpata is not from Akoko-Edo, as if I even made such a claim to begin with. That somebody is projected to get support from a particular region does not mean he originates from that region, but could draw familial sympathies from there.

Following Naija politics since 1996 with Abacha´s 5 political parties no be beans.

Now we have received the very identical message from the horse´s mouth.

Maybe the political babies will still argue with this fact.

You want to use our eastern region oil money build road and still want to destroy our business.

It won't work.

You are still living in the old and decayed past of Eastern Region where NigerDelta oil money was being used to develop Enugu, and when the NigerDelta struggle for secession was lead by Isaac Adaka Boro, his group was violently quenched by Aguiyi-Ironsi and Ojukwu, while Adaka Boro himself was locked up for Treason.

Even the SouthWest does not hold on to the Midwest of Edo and Delta, the way you SouthEasterners have refused to stand alone without the former parts that are now part of SouthSouth with Edo and Delta states.

Is it a case of Inferiority complex or a need to return to the past when you fed fat off the minority NigerDelta?

The only saving grace Onwuanibe has in this whole saga is that the Minster of Works is an Igbo man that can actually influence the contractors to reroute the road.

If a Ronu from the Jagaban Lagos circle was the minister of works, it would have been Otilo.

I’m sure it’s been long their hearts have been bleeding that an Igbo man owns such an investment in Lagos.

When Tinubu has time, he will also help the rudderless LP put its house in order.

Great news for Nigerians.

I noticed that those who always rushed to post news about Dollar to Naira exchange rates in February and early March, seem not to be interested in that hobby anymore.

So what changed for them?

Betting against the Naira and stockpiling Dollars while criticizing the government for failing is no longer a profitable venture?

But Isreal is crazy enough to strike the Iranian embassy in Syria? Smh.

Isreal is just making things more difficult for the US in the middle east and US is genuinely worried, Biden in particular is concerned that the guys in Israel may be ruining his chances especially in the middle of an election year. it's just as simple as that.

If you see how much Biden had raised and how desperate Trump is to catch up then Biden will press the neck of Netanyahu long enough at least until after he wins his second term bid for the US Presidency.

Isreal has been a complete nuisance to the United States for many years now.

The US only have a Middle-East problem largely because of Israel.

Time for US to play neutral or fair as it concerns the problems of the Middle-East

Any Southerner contesting in 2027 to unseat a Southern President is wasting his/her time.

By 2031, power goes North with SouthSouth as Vice.

By 2039, power returns South, to the SouthSouth.
