So sad. May their souls rest in peace. I warned earlier. Lagos state tried but still failed to demolish as many houses as possible. StOla: Mende wey I know like the back of my hand.
Many built houses that later sank into the ground.
Pako bridge linking Mende at Ajose street to Ojota, used to have a house that only the top window of the 1st floor was still above the ground. It eventually got demolished and the mechanics around there expanded their workshop over it.
All the canal pathway within Mende has been turned into one estate or the other. In those days, you will stand on the ground near the swamp area of Mende, and the ground will be bouncing.
Same thing applied to Arowojobe Estate in Mende, but people kept on sandfilling the swamps and building houses like no man's business.
Gone are the days Alligators used to be found in the canal areas of Mende |

Realtruth2023: How is it a perfect example? Donald Trump was once a democrat before he became a republican when he joined politics. So what in essence are you trying to prove. Jumping ship in a party depends on your motives. Here is Nigeria most of the politicians jump ship because of the stomachs and access to the treasury like Obanikoro who was in PDP before going to APC and so many other Yoruba politicians who were in PDP before going to APC. Like Afikuyomi who was in PDP before going to APC. I can give you a lot of examples. You guys have an agenda handed down to you by your WhatsApp admin which is smear PO's name so that he will not be popular anymore by 2027. It is easy to see the Bull shit in your actions, the unfortunate things about your plan is so far Emi Lo Kan is still commiting economic blunders, you are boosting PO's popularity the more. It always hurt you lots when you are reminded that the sinner you want to canonize as a saint, is no different from any other regular Nigerian politician. Other politicians must be smeared by you lots in an action that is not bullshit, but you begin hyperventilating when the truth about your manchurian candidate is laid bare. Who cares about popularity that cannot win election ahead of those who already basked in same popularity. Let him continue to take his place at the back line while boosting his popularity so he can get ahead. |

Goodvibes007: 1. There is. Labour a liberal will always push liberal views like LGBTQ stuff and give out or increase social benefits usually for low income. Tax cooperation and people more to fund their spending. Immigration friendly.
Conservatives are conservative. The conserve, spend less money, often reduce taxes of cooperations and business and not so keen about LGBTQ stuffs. Less immigration friendly e.t.c
2. Your are right. They don't change political party like Nigerian politicians that jump from one party to the other. They have honour. A good example of a Nigerian politician that jumps around is the one below. You illustrated your point with the perfect example. Kudos!

DeepSight: Legal legitimacy yes, but not really popular legitimacy as it is a valid point that the majority of the electorate voted against him. Its almost like a US president who loses the popular vote.
Written in history, but not written in gold. Thus far, I am sure not even you will deny that the memory Nigerians are developing of Tinubu is a painful and unpleasant one. The people will remember this time with pain, and not with happy nostalgia. Not even you can change that.
And that is truly sad for someone who has a valid claim to be a fighter for democracy and freedom in this country (with NADECO). The majority that voted against him, did they vote for a single candidate who was then denied victory? If we are to ridicle the winner for not winning majority of votes cast despite being the candidate with the highest votes and the only candidate who surpassed the required minimum electoral spread that qualified him to be so declared as validly elected, is it the losers who came behind him with even more majority votes against them that we should now accord any regard? Did you see the President in Kenya who won both on social media and actual votes? Did you see the crisis his government was engulfed with because he tried to implement a tax policy so that government would have more funds to provide the citizens with infrastructure and services? 13 people died in the protest and riots that ensued. Is that not a clear reminder that despite the euphoria of electoral victory, the business of running a country requires taking hard decisions that do not have to be popular or palatable? Any of the candidates and supporters of candidates in the 2023 Nigerian presidential election, who advocated oil subsidy removal and the floating of the currency exchange, do not have any morality to lament about the obvious consequences of those policies as we now experience them. I am only sad for the little minority of Nigerians who voted for unsung candidates that did not advocate for subsidy removal. |

Look at the clusterfucck of Inflation and our currency reduced to a memecoin....
he will never have the legitimacy he sorely seeks, let em "enjoy" his pyrrhic "victory"..... we shall see in the next election cycle, and this time, he will not have it easy.... if he is alive to run sef because who knows *shrugs* Stop boasting with your social media legitimacy. President Tinubu does not need it. The legitimacy that makes him the validly elected President of Nigeria is what makes him occupy Aso Rock and directing the affairs of Nigeria, both locally and internationally. What is quite embarrassing to the many political prostitutes and ticket hunters he contested against, is that he attained the Presidency of Nigeria on his very 1st attempt. 1st nomination form purchase, 1st party candidates clearance, 1st party presidential candidacy after winning the primaries, 1st presidential election contest. He succeeded where many have failed despite all their political prostitution, and where many will still never succeed. He has already written his name in the history books of Nigerian leadership. |

Let him occupy the office while it still lasts but the history is clear
BTW this is not the first time that multiple parties are contesting in the election, but this is the first time that the fufu who was declared winner got half of the votes
there was a time where multiple supposed heavyweights ran but Tinubu own diff.... illegal govt Your own preferred candidate even scored less. Yet, Tinubu is President making policies that affect over 200million Nigerians, while the other failed candidates are still campaigning to one day attain that office and realigning with all manner of structures of criminality to achieve what Tinubu achieved on his very 1st attempt? Tinubu is grateful to the many political prostitutes and ticket hunters who contested and split the votes, so that he can have a very easy win. |

Stope being undemocratic by trying to silence free speech. It is a right. That is not an opinion. It is a false claim that is even treasonous. Free speech does not allow for false claims. And it is not his right to claim that a loser won. You guys should learn to be civilised and understand that democracy does not mean everyone wins. Some will win and some will lose. A rigged election una go struggle tire
that legitimacy that Tinubu so seeks he does not have it he won't get it let him be the aso rock occupant thar he is till its time to pack out whenever that is The very "we" who gave him more votes than the other candidates got. Are you the one to give him legitimacy or he is the one to implement policies that will affect you and the other failed candidates? Both the electoral umpire and the courts have given him legitimacy as it concerns both the Nigerian constitution and electoral law. Tinubu does not need your social media legitimacy, nor is he afraid to use the power of his office. At least he was the least rejected of all the candidates who contested. You know by how many votes Atiku, Obi, and Kwankwaso were rejected? Shame no catch you for them? Why are you suprised when we are not practising a 2-party democracy that requires the candidates to surpass 50% of valid votes cast? Get over your loss. |

They retain their seats as MP but only resign party leadership, which inherently shows the very weakness of the office of Prime Minister in a parliamentary democracy, both by its manner of attainment and subsequent discharge. |

They now need to register with FIRS, SEC, CBN and CAC to come under full Nigerian financial investment regulations. Even their employees must pay Personal income tax while their platform users must pay capital gains tax.
May God bless Nigeria for ever! Check my signature for free stuffs! Everyone must pay tax, as long as you earn an income and you are resident in Nigeria. Even Americans and Europeans who are working outside their respective countries, pay tax to their home country as long as they are still registered as resident in that country. |

Artscollection: Cypto traders should avoid kucoin, your data is no longer safe with kucoin. What this means is that fg can assess your info on request. What are you running from? Why must your transaction be secret and hidden from financial audit? There are countries where you must pay tax on any income made, even on cryptocurrency trading platforms, and your national ID number is a requirement before you can even register on such platforms. So keep running, but as long as you want to use a platform that the government allows to operate within its national space, the rules remain the same everywhere. I commend the government for establishing all manner of controls and ensuring everyone is captured in the tax bracket. No one sbould be left out, be it a worker in an office, or a digital content creator on social media. All must pay tax as long as income is earned. |
