PoliticsRe: Who Will You Pick To Lead Your Region If Regional Government Is Reintroduced? by StOla: 8:01pm On May 31, 2024
11Monkeys:
You can still make him your regional champion. How is that difficult?
I know you are pained that Tinubu is already above that level.

We have already made Tinubu the President of all of Nigeria. Our national leader who would guide the regional leaders like Peter Obi if his Igbo people choose to continue with the performance he gave Anambra State.

The thing pain you enter your bone marrow.

President Tinubu no dey look any riff raff face.

For those asking about Tinubu, it only requires the application of common sense.

1) Who is the president right now?

2) What does the constitution say about the president holding another executive position?

It's very easy and simple once you use common sense.

Someone up there said that I voted for someone in the last election. Hallucination is a terrible thing and I can only sympathise with him. People who exist in the real world know that I have never voted for any Nigerian politician.

Unfortunately some people exist in their own private world.
Some people harbour ignorance like they harbour stolen goods.

They hide it so far away from the light of knowledge.

How come you didn't include the master strategist on the list?

You don't want Tinubu to rule your South West region but he is your preferred choice for Nigeria, right?

Damned hypocrite.
Is Tinubu not the President of Nigeria already.

Reason before vomiting ignorance.

The south-west list is incomplete without Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu

For South-east we should be looking at list that will have the likes of
Peter Obi
Kingsley Moghalu
Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe
Tinubu is the President already.

PoliticsRe: Anthem Change: The military was more democratic by calling for competition by StOla: 3:47pm On May 31, 2024
DMerciful:
This is technically not a change but reverting back to the old anthem.

Remember that Obj military govt was an illegitimate govt
Exactly!

It is a return to what the military unilaterally decided to change.

And the return passed through the democratic process.

You can decide to prefer one anthem over the other, but do not try to tell us bullshit about how the unilateral decision of an illegitimate military government to change the national anthem was more democratic because it subsequently allowed a competition to arrive at the choice, as if the previous one did not come about by a competition also.
PoliticsRe: Anthem Change: The military was more democratic by calling for competition by StOla: 3:46pm On May 31, 2024

Which one is more representative

1.
‘Arise, O Compatriots’ National Anthem written by a collective of young Nigerians, including John A. Ilechukwu, Eme Etim Akpan, B. A. Ogunnaike, Sota Omoigui and P. O. Aderibigbe in 1978

2.
Nigeria, We Hail Thee’, written by an English woman, Lillian Jean Williams.

Imagine someone from Abeokuta being the Author of God Save the King or the American national anthem.
Dude, you made a claim about democratic action of the military.

How does a military government decide to remove an anthem that a democratic Nigeria adopted upon independence in 1960, yet you say the military's action is democratic?

Then a democratic government decide to undo the autocratic action of the military government, via National Assembly Bill that is signed into law by the PRESIDENT, yet you want to cast aspersions on the democratic process while exalting the autocratic action of the military as a form of democracy because it allowed for a competition?

Did the older anthem not come about by way of a competition also and selected by a committee of eminent Nigerians?

That you in your unrehabilitated military psyche, prefer the military style of patriotism evident in the military's anthem, does not mean you should confuse the public about what was democratic and what was autocratic.

PoliticsRe: Anthem Change: The military was more democratic by calling for competition by StOla: 3:28pm On May 31, 2024
Was it not a competition on 1959 that lead to the old anthem that has now been returned?

Who did the Military consult to decide to change the anthem, when a democratic Nigeria adopted the previous anthem on 1st October 1960?

Is it not a democratic government with a National Assembly bill that has now signed into law the return of the same democratic national anthem that the military replaced with autocratic power?

So why are you trying to spin your own ignorance into a misinformation for public consumption?

Shame on your misunderstanding of whose action is actually democratic or dictatorial.

Ohaneze and South East Governors are always reactive they are never proactive

They are responsible for the issue we have in the South East 100% their inactions

Because they promised them president

What would happen if ohaneze lead protest in the South East with all igbo governors calling for kanus release at least that would send a message that leadership of the igbo nation want kanu released

I blame kanu for even agreeing to see them

Little wonder they keep losing trust of the people to ipob
You want politicians to call for the release of a terrorist who is responsible for all the deaths and carnage that the section of the country has endured since 2015?

Well, even the Jews demanded for the release of Barabbas and to have Jesus crucified.

Governor Peter Obi was caught with N250m of state funds in his convoy and transported all the way from Anambra to Lagos.

You wanted the military to block the road yesterday?

Then you come up with propaganda that even the military with its show of unprofessionalism is why IPOB informed that they cannot guarantee the safety of those who do not sit at home in compliance with the directive given by the terrorist group?
PoliticsRe: Soldiers Block Aba - Port Harcourt Expressway by StOla: 11:17am On May 31, 2024
Let them continue the sit at home until nextweek.

jmoore:
Ariaria junction section of Aba-Portharcourt road is currently blocked by army.

No cars passing through. Those on legs raise their hands before passing.
If it was IPOB that blocked the road while pedestrians passed by and raised their hands, Gidgiddy will say they voluntarily raised their hand and hailed them because they support IPOB and the forced sit at home.

If they had simply declared may 30th Biafra remembrance Day and made it a public holiday weekend wont be here

When Fulanis ravaged South East they were begged to form a security outfit they refused

Igbos would never forget the name Biafra

Igbos would never forget the Biafra war

Igbos would never stop using the Biafran flag

Igbos would never forget may 30th

It would never happen

The best things for this governors is to adopt this things and formalized them ... Simple to save lifes

Igbos also want to be President of Nigeria while not forgetting Biafra flag?

Victim all the time.

Yet, when Doyin Okupe was saying in 2014 that Nigeria despite being the biggest economy in Africa, cannot afford new trains, your people still supported and voted for Jonathan in 2015.

When the latter governments of Buhari and Tinubu have been buying brand new trains, it is still your people who pollute this forum with lamentations that it is a waste and not sustainable.

Yet, you are still the ones to lament without bearing, that the train coaches in the SouthEast is outdated.

I thought the Southeast was a lover of only basic and minimal infrastructure?
