I was chanced enouf 2 attend d wedding event and honestly speaking it was indeed a swell tyme.

I sincerely dont knw why it has to be dis bad. am experiencing same problem here. though they have been sending me some unvaluable letters, like dividend warrant and account opening form. but the main koko as been left aside.
I was @ dere office last year dey told me latest end of jan i will get it and if i dnt i shud show my face by feb. Men i gas go shira 4 dem be4 end of d week. i think dey r not regulated @all.

@poster i think leaving ur job for forex isn't a gud idea. forex comprises of gains and losses. it takes time to get a perfect working system, and there are some prerequisite be4 u cud venture into forex.
so i guess you need to consider all dis be4 taking a bold step.

you could only redraw funds from your account via the medium you used to fund the account.
Things to note

[li]It takes 4-5 working days to credit your domicilary account during transfer[/li]
[li]Uba may help you send money to your broker but you can't redraw via that account (isn't that crazy)[/li]
[li]You need to choose a broker with good operating skills (i recommend North Finance)[/li]
[li]If you are concerned about flexibility and smooth transaction (i suggest you open domicilary with GTB)[/li]

God has been so kind 2 me and my household, but to be specific about what i appreciate most in my achievement, am rather more thankful about successful completion of my Software Engineering course @ NIIT. Having spent 3years + on series of courses am finally through. Most importantly i was qualified to partake in an international course and the same God gave me the privilege to meet up with the prerequisite and the fees.

I guess u can apply immediately, but is always advisable to redraw your appeal when reapplying, and make sure you are applying 4 the same purpose. not tryin student visa today and visitors visa tommorow. they need u to be accurate and precise.
Are u still using the normal green passport to apply, cos i heard from next year everyone would be entitle to use just the electronic passport which would be made available online be4 u apply. just time ur document are accurate. they like filty excuses, talking from experience.

Based on your question, i believe share is an english word getting part of the worth of the company, so u are entitle bonus and dividend which is part of the money the company makes.
then i guess stock market is a kind of investing into stocks. so u could purchase stocks from companies selling their IPO(initial public offer).
so based on your question they are more of the same thing with slight difference in stock market we have future,bond,stocks etc. but dont be confused they all serve virtually same purpose.
Though am not a broker but am an investor so i have little ideas on stock and i tend to pick enough interest in it.

It is no news here that release of certificates by company registras after public or rights offers take as long as six month to a year in some cases.

Following the difficulties in the delivery of share certificates to investors, the Securities and Exchange Commission and Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) has given December 31st, 2008 as the deadline for the total phase out of the issuance of share certificates to the investing public.

This was the resolve at a meeting between regulatory bodies of the capital market recently. It was said that the issuance of hard copies would be replaced with the electronic system, which would be handled by the CSCS. Shareholders were advised to begin the demobilisation of the share certificates into the CSCS system before the end of the deadline.

All Initial Public Offers (IPO), Rights issues and bonus certificates are to be issued electronically to CSCS accounts of subscribers. This means that prospective investors should approach brokers, so that CSCS accounts would be opened for them for future purposes.

The regulators and operators agreed that the CBN capital verification for banks will be done after the conclusion of the allotment process and that only suspicious accounts will be affected by the verification while the CSCS account of those not affected will be credited with the units allotted within 15 working days from the date of allotment clearance from SEC.

Hey guy, GTB dont just give master card, (You sounded so automatic) its only issued on request and when u have successfully opened a domicilary account with them.
But what i think is getting a valid master card from Zenith bank, note is not d normal credit card ,they have up to 3 different master cards thereof, so walk up to any zenith nearby and specify web surfer card. u can get d full details on there site perhaps u apply for it via net after confirmed registration process with utility and gov. issued id. u then go to the bank with any amount frm $100 and above, and u pay $20 for gettin d card, i guess u pay dat just once in every year provided d card is valid.

Wat i think and personally do is investing mostly in stocks, though kinda long term investment but to some extent your money is safe and secured and make sure you keep some cash aside 4 some miscellaneous and unexpected expenses dat may crop up.
though i wouldn't advice u to invest in forex, but i have 50% of my wealth on forex trading and is working 4 me, well i guess it's working cos i do d trading myself but i need to tell u it's time consuming getting an accurate trend 2 trade on.
Try buy into Dangote flour mills, i guess its been extended to 10th of oct.
Fidelity Bank offer is out.
international breweries is on.
NAHCO is out as well
AfriBank will be out very soon.
