ADC National Chairman calls on Federal Government of Nigeria to immediately end ASUU Strike and let the students go back to School. Breaking News: 27th/06/2022. ADC National Chairman, Chief. Ralphs Nwosu, has officially called on the Federal Government of Nigeria to immediately resolve the ASUU Strike crisis that has been lingering for months now. In a Press release made available to media and members of the Press today the 26th of June, 2022, Chief Ralph Nwosu expressed extreme disgust over the unresolved dispute between the Federal Government of Nigeria and ASUU. Chief. Ralph Nwosu said he is saddened about the contempt of the APC government for education and youth development, noting that such is pathetic and largely responsible for the troubles in the land. How else would a leader or government explain that "since February 14 this year, students in public universities have been at home, as academic activities have been put on hold following the strike by members of the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU. It's equally unfortunate to note that other staff unions in the university sector have also joined the wagon of embarking on industrial action. The unions are demanding better welfare packages, more funds to run the universities, a stop to the indiscriminate setting up of new universities, the discontinuation of the use of the Integrated Personnel Payroll Information System, IPPIS, as the payment platform in the university system among others. ADC is aware that series of meetings have held between the government and the unions, but noted that so far nothing tangible has come out of those meetings. "This is a clear indictment of the present administration, the APC as a party and the two ruling parties that dominate the national assembly" As a result of such colossus leadership failure, some of our young men and females have been forced into negatives and crimes. Education is at the soul of any national development and the youth hold the ace in economic, technology, innovation and entrepreneurship to move any nation from anywhere it may be on the ladder to gain speed and move up. So one wonders why the government holds education and youths development in such great contempt. Nwosu maintains that It is morally wrong and immoral for students to remain at home because of avoidable strike. The ASUU strike is completely unfortunate and represents the degeneration of values and leadership. The Federal Government of Nigeria should as a matter of urgent concern declare a state of emergency on the matter and find a lasting and permanent solution to the ASUU Strike, and ensure our students go back to school at all cost within a fortnight. . We are playing with the future of a whole generation and by extension our whole future. The Federal Government should look for money, just as it looked for money to execute elections, build rails from Nigeria to Niger, to sort out ASUU. Human development comes before infrastructural development." Chief Ralph Nwosu, Stated.

Chimaraymond455:Under which party ? |
Ebi2233:The problem was the Uplands stance. After Odili, it should have gone to the Riverine with Ogoni as Deputy. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. After Amaechi's tenure also, he tried to move it to the Riverine, still didn't work because his upland brother Woke, fought against him and took the Governorship. So this time around, this can't continue. |
Ebi2233:Not at all. The tone of the state is in favour of Ogoni as Deputy. After the Ijaw 8 years, power should go to the Ogoni people |
Ebi2233:What has that got to do with offering good governance? He is used to Portharcourt yet him and his boss stole N117 billion from Rivers State treasury when pensioners and teachers are being owed for years. Try dey honest small abeg. |
Ebi2233:Stop spewing your ignorance everywhere please. Do your findings properly and stop peddling falsehood |
Ebi2233:It's time for an Ijaw/Ogoni ticket. That's the right way to go. Upland has had power 23 years already. |
Ebi2233:Sure. But the feel of the people favours Tonye Cole now. Rivers people are not happy with Wike and his illicit financial dealings with Rivers State funds. |
Ebi2233:It's the turn of the Ijaws in Rivers State, all parties understand that. |
Rivers State Governorship Candidates And Their Chances 1. ARCH TONYE COLE: He is of the APC. He is a businessman who has been able to manage businesses profitably. His sense of direction is unparalleled. He's got the mettle to mix human and material resources of Rivers State for the ultimate benefit of all. He strongly believes that he can take Rivers State from it's current rubble to a place where dignity and hope reign supreme. He is so optimistic and drawing from what he has done in the corporate world, one cannot but build strong hope around him for a Rivers State of possibilities. His chances (35%). He needs to work harder. 2. CHIEF DUMO LULU-BRIGGS: He is of the Accord Party. He is a manager of human and material resources. He is a politician. He is a philanthropist. He is empathetic and compassionate. He has shown rare steadfastness and resilience in addition to maintaining focus, discipline, sense of responsibility, vision and resilience in his endeavours. His respect for his fellow man is beyond description. His chances (30%). 3. PRINCE UGO BEKE: He is of APGA. He is a businessman. He is a leader. He is a politician. He believes that setting the right priorities will eventually produce positive results for Rivers people. He believes that Rivers State needs to be rescued from the current state of motion without movement to a thriving space where government acts as the enabler for economic development. He is determined. His chances (18%). 4. SIM FUBARA: He is of the PDP. He resigned recently as Accountant-General of Rivers State Government and was picked by Governor Wike. It is said that he is a generous man. He is a young man. That should be a plus for him. The negative against him is the N117 billion of Rivers State fund withdrawn over the counter by him without due process. He is yet to clear himself from the EFCC's dragnet. His chances (8%). 5. MRS BEATRICE ITUBO: She is of the LP. She is a strong labour leader. She hasn't wavered in the struggle to get the Government of Rivers State to pay the much-needed attention that the workers of Rivers State need. She is dogged. She is irrepressible. Her chances (5%). 6. VICTOR FINGESI: He is of the ADP. His motive to become Governor is not yet to be articulated. His chances (3%). 7. SOBOMABO JACKRICH: He is of the NRM. He is an estranged supporter of Gov. Wike. He believes that the funds that accrued to Rivers State under Wike were not properly used. His chances (1%).

©️ 2022 All rights reserved. Blood Moon PROLOGUE Fire...everywhere...screams...fear. These emotions raced through my very being as I watched my city burn... The invasion had come as a surprise, the King my Father, once the most feared in the southern kingdoms, had met his better...if you could call them that... "Francis! Find your siblings and come with me!" My father's roar brought me back to reality, we couldn't save the city, it was too late. I had to save my family... They were closer to the palace now, had to move quickly to mother's hut, a secret compartment made underneath served as a hiding spot for the vulnerable among the royals...they must be there! Running now...quickly, the door is open...not a good sign, "Mother...Mother...!" No response...A lamp by the corner of the room shone dimly, I rushed to it and lifted it up...oh no...blood on the floor...my mother's necklace. The blood trail led outside the door, toward the forest, I made to follow when I heard it...the low growl, terrible smell, something was behind me...a wild dog? A wolf? I turned back abruptly,...nothing. I have to find her...there may still be time... I turned back quickly, my mind on the trail...then I saw it, towering over me, man or beast...I couldn't tell...a mixture of both, legs like a wolf but standing upright like a man, white fur covering his body, and the face of a wolf. In his right hand my mother...bleeding, his claws piercing through her neck. My eyes met his, and he came for me...last I remember was searing pain, a bite on my shoulder, and the world went dark...

Gunmen have attacked the home of APC Governorship Aspirant, Prince Tonye Princewill in Port Harcourt, the early hours of today. The assailants did not cart away with any valuables but left when they could not find Tonye Princewill. Prince Tonye Princewill released this statement few minutes ago on the incident: Princewill Press Release I can confirm that in the early hours of this morning my house was broken in to. The target was clearly me, as the intruders headed straight for what they thought was my room, broke in and met my absence. Nothing of value was taken, except the hard drive of the CCTV recorder, which leads me to conclude, they had only one objective. My elimination. I want to thank God that the devil is a liar and His children will always be protected. Thankfully I am well and nobody in my household was hurt, but this is a stark reminder that the 2023 political season has started and those who can not win on the field, will seek other ways to attain power. It may have worked in the past, but not here and not now. Let me assure my well wishers and my supporters that this incident has not deterred me, rather it has made me more committed to their cause. A more peaceful Rivers state, where all can sleep with both eyes closed and our youths can engage in meaningful activities, that can put food on their family’s tables. Brick house is still our destination. We are clearly a threat to someone. That person and their group of persons will soon be exposed. In the meantime, I ask for your prayers and your support and some privacy. Any additional detail we have will be released to you via the security agencies. Let them do their jobs. Men from the security agencies are currently on the scene and I have every confidence that justice will be done.
