BusinessRe: Interested Partners For The Haulage Biz Meet Here by stpat1(op):
Hello guys, I am so happy that we have people with like drive for success and excellence and also the technical know how and experience to achieve it.

I am calling interested partners to a meeting on 18th May 2013 by 1pm Noon. I think the time is okay because the location might not be close to everyone so then we can finish in time and everyone can still get back home in due time. It will an opportunity for us to sit meet in person and discuss on how to achieve our collective dream.

I hope this date and time is convenient for most people. Its a Sunday. For the location I am looking at a place around Acme, that is around Oba Akran and not far from Ikeja or Ogba. This location is ideal because there is space for us to use and I can provide the chairs we need and the environment is also conducive.

I am calling on everyone to pls make out time to be there.

BusinessRe: Interested Partners For The Haulage Biz Meet Here by stpat1(op): 7:21am On May 04, 2013
@godelo. If you read the first post, I mentioned that 10% of the earnings are set aside for maintenance and other unforeseen occurrences. So whether the trucks break down or not, the money must be set aside.

BusinessRe: Interested Partners For The Haulage Biz Meet Here by stpat1(op): 4:54am On May 04, 2013
@Alex, @oloyedayo

There is no minimum amount to be invested. That is why I explained that the profit is to be shared in percentage. Or if you choose the second option of having a fixed % of return on investment.
Its a win win situation.

Welcome on board.
BusinessRe: Interested Partners For The Haulage Biz Meet Here by stpat1(op): 11:58pm On May 03, 2013
Ok. I believe there should be 2 experienced managers. I will be one of the managers, by this it doesn't mean I have access to funds at my beck and call cos there must be at least 2 other signatory for funds to be released. We will also have an office rep.

As a manager, I will be responsible for the coordination of the trucks and human resources and will also be saddled with the responsibility of getting the most profitable jobs for our trucks (which by God's grace is always available), estimate repairs and maintenance of the trucks etc.

For the cost of the trucks, A good truck should go for about 3.5m - 4m for Mack 25 - 30 ton trucks.

For the jobs. There are different offers on ground now but let me use what can be earned on the least.
the max that be made can be put at say 45k - 50k

The least that can be earned by a sound truck daily is 25,000. So for a week we should have 150,000, for a month it will be 600,000.

Did I answer your question?
BusinessInterested Partners For The Haulage Biz Meet Here by stpat1(op):
We have decided to Open a thread for interested partners who are interested in investing in he Haulage biz to meet here so we can discuss openly and this avenue will make it easier for ideas and opinions to be vetted and scrutinized in the best interest of the biz.

The Vision
To be a renown support partner in offering logistic and haulage solutions to construction companies in the country. To have a fleet of Trucks and Machinery to deliver quality support in quality time.

How we hope to achieve our goal

We are inviting investors to come together, to pool our resources and expertise together and grow to an enviable height within the shortest possible time.

What We Need

For a start we are looking to acquiring a minimum of 3 trucks of 30 tons to take care of existing contracts on ground. I am convincingly sure that within the short time, we shall grow to a height everyone will want to reckon with.

We have about 4 interested people already and we decide to make our discussion here open for everyone to be able to join in and make contribution or constructive criticism.

@peacemaker
@chukwuwike2ny
@oduz
@isokai

Pls feel free to contribute here and let's work this out.

Breakdown of How It will Work.
There will be 2 options.

(1) PARTNERS
(2) INVESTORS

PARTNERS
The profit is shared in % of how much was invested.

If Investor A invests #1,000,000, investor B invests #500,000 and investor C invests #100,000. Total = #1,600,000. So #1,600,000 divided by 100 = #16,000

This means that Investor A's investment is 62.5% of the total investment, Investor B's investment is 31.25% of the total investment while investor C's investment is 6.25%.

20% of the profit is set aside for maintenance, Tax and other expenditure.

For Example,

If the profit for the month is #1,000,000.
#200,000 is set aside for Maintenance, Tax etc making #800,000 available to shared amongst Partners.

So
Investor A will get #500,000.
Investor B will get #250,000
Investor C will get #50,000

INVESTOR

The Investor is given an agreed fixed % of invested funds as ROI (Return on Investment) monthly. This investor is also free to withdraw the principal fund invested over an agreed period of time.

Example

If the agreed ROI is 5% monthly of invested funds, and the principal refunded after 10 months.

If #500,00 was invested, then the investor gets #25,000 monthly and #525,000 at the end of the 10th month.

This is just my own Opinion. Feel free to contribute.

If you or anyone have a sound double axle 10 tyre dump tipper truck, I pay 150k weekly and I pay upfront so no story.

If you have a lowbed truck, I pay 250k per week. I pay upfront so no story. If your lowbed is in sound condition I can pay for 2 weeks upfront straight. I need to use it for nothing less six months.

If you or anyone can get a direct tokunbo sound low bed truck, I can assure you that its a wonderful investment.

I am also looking at the possibility of about 10 people max for a partnership to buy the low bed or dump trucks and engage it in the contract then we split the returns on percentage of how much was invested. I tell you its a good investment. Everything is open.

Anyone or persons interested or need more details can reach me on 07085694495, 08060089362 or saintpatrics@gmail.com.

From what I see you writing op, it only shows that you are trying to extort people. So that makes me wonder why you are trying to bastardise those that charged when you are also doing same.

You sound more hungry to me.

BusinessRe: Transport And Haulage Business by stpat1(m): 8:39pm On Apr 26, 2013
Depilot: Just keep in mind that trucks mostly don't break down right next door to mecho shop.
Think about the process you have to go through to fix a broken truck next to the highway. Let us also say that the truck is full of customer's goods, which can not be left on the truck overnight.
This means the truck has to be repaired the same day. This also means your reliable mecho must be available and part to fix the truck must also be ready.

How do you handle this type of scenario? Because this might happen once or twice a month.

Be a smart business owner, just don't go into a new business by only looking at the pouring of the honey, it is also critical to pay attention to the inevitable rain fall.

It sounds like a great business, but get to know the business first before diving into it.
My brother, I just folded my arms to read all the sweet sweet talks of some managers. they never say the other part of the business. They promise all sorts and at the end of the first or second week they start to give excuses for not being able to meet up.

Well for me, as a manager with 2 trucks in my possession, I can not offer any body more than 300k per month. I put a lot of stuffs into consideration before settling for this. The owners of my trucks are outside the country so I can not always call them now and then if there is a fault to be fixed or situation.

The truck must be delivered in good condition. As a manager, I have come to understand that there are a lot of circumstances that affect trucks. From mechanical to natural weather condition, to drivers etc.

I don't like stories so I pay upfront for the month. I give you 300k upfront for your 30ton 10 tyre truck and I take care of the expenses.

I no fit shout. saintpatrics@gmail.com 08060089362
