When you dropped out of school and jumped into Mallam Audu's trailer carrying Cows from Bornu through Igboland to Lagos to come and sell Gala and La Casera inside Lagos hold-ups and sleep under Lagos bridges, didn't we warn you?

Sorry sir, I think you must've mistaken me for your parents

Thank you for telling them to move out of that Lagos , I don’t know Wetin some people see for that Lagos wey Dey make dem sleep around shanty towns , when they can easily get accommodation and convenience in another states. The government won’t allow the shanty towns to remain forever , there will always be a constant development

True that, however, some have their businesses in Lagos and it's not easy starting afresh in another State

Cement cost have gone way overboard and the small shanties the poor are managing are being destroyed. People cannot afford normal housing in lagos. The best bet is to move back to their villages or other States with affordable housing

As much as I do not believe in voodoo, but that she deliberately makes friends with people who do such nasty things is a big red flag.

So save yourself from dying early, move her back to her parents house and officially end things with her. Ensure to take your child with you if you can otherwise, let them be with her for the time being till they grow to an appreciable age

I didn’t say 20k is a lot of money.

The reason why the dollar value is irrelevant is because the same way Nigerians abroad shouldn’t be converting to naira when spending is the same way Nigerians in Nigeria shouldn’t be valuing stuff based on how many dollars it cost the giver

What is the essence of rating my friend as living in the US when he behaves like someone living in Nigeria? Anyways, to each Mallam his own kettle. I stand by what I posted

Do you live in the USA? Why is the dollar value important to you?

Except u want to live in denial, why won’t the dollar value be important? And how is 20k a lot of money these days?

But what if he has sent same amount to several other persons who are in need. Don't judge who you don't see. I know what I am saying. Sometimes we feel someone is not doing something right until we find ourselves in such position.
My humble opinion.

Then he should’ve waited till he has something “reasonable” to send. There are some kind of money someone will give to you and make you look like a beggar

Lol...this is worse than insult. It's better to not send anything than ring someone up after 16 years in the abroad just to send 12$.

Some people will say it's 'entitlement mentality'. But if I see you for road, you dey mind your business I come hala say I know say life hard, take 50 naira go find biscuit chop, before you die for our neck. You go reason better blow for mouth. After all, you no beg me for food or for money. Despite the fact that I just gave you my 'hard earned' money, you'd know in your heart of hearts that I just undermined you.

For 16years, bro has been managing to survive, How would you message him out of the blues to send him 12$. One carton of indomie.

Your comment is the only reasonable comment I've seen so far. You just spoke my mind.

It is better you even send shoes, or other items than send a paltry $12. Is there any reasonable thing u can buy with $12 in the US apart from food and groceries?

Do you realize you will be the center of mockery if you give that useless boy the 100k? Imagine him being with his friends and saying things like “them dey beg me to marry that useless girl, then use money to beg me”. He then goes ahead to show the alert he received from you as proof that he’s been begged to marry your sister. If he even manages to marry her, your sister will be so ridiculed in the marriage by him, his friends and his family.

It won’t end there. Whenever she gives birth, he will come for more money for hospital bills. After all, na u force am to marry your sister

Being a family man with 5 children and a Pregnant wife is not easy.

Here are the jobs I do to survive myself and family

1) MARKETING JOB: I do this part time and what I earn with this depends on how many products myself and partner sells. Usually between ₦ 25,000-₦ 50,000. On one good month I earned as high as ₦80,000.

The job is not easy as we have to travel and trek long distances just to reach new customers. You will talk and explain until your mouth dries up and some customers will not still buy.

Our boss is nice and gives us good food after each outing.

When I read the above, I got very upset. You need to be STOPPED! What is wrong with you?? What happened to family planning

if you think he was spending his own personal money when donating which amounts to more than half of what was donated for his campaign, then he has more than enough to run his campaign without donations.

In fact he has more than enough money he stole from Anambra state so he shouldn’t ask for donations.

He has been the only governor that EFCC never for one day invited for questioning so your idea of him stealing is already rubbish. And yes, he has more than enough to run his campaign without donations but people willingly donated not to him, but his campaign team

Poor people are very myopic. While the rich make, save and invest, the poor spend the little they make on frivolities. Why someone will rent a house and upgrade it when he should be thinking of building his own is something I still can't figure.

How much did he use to upgrade the house? And how much do they use to build house? U think the amount is comparable?

Irritating how?! I'm only asking simple innocent questions. Why would anyone want to friend some eager JJC from Nigeria with all sorts of warped ideas and expectations, not to talk of affectations?
Just an innocent, polite question!

Did you bring friends from birth? Were you not a jjc at some point in your life too? Before you gained any experience in your job (if you have any), were you not once a rookie? Be nice to people and remove that fake “politeness” you have up there

Before you commit huge funds into purchasing items, always personally vet the item physically before you pay. Once you pay, it will be difficult to get back your money. How do you commit over 500k and didn’t check the items physically before handing over the money, the carelessness of the complainant is over the roof.

I have bought many gadgets from nairaland and I usually love to do physical verification before I pay. If it’s not within my State or reach, I will abort mission. I won’t die if I don’t buy the item no matter how ridiculously cheap!
