Asides the transportation cost, there are also clearing costs at the ports and other fringe costs in offloading the products into NNPC from outside the country.

Moreso, the crude can be bought in Naira (not Dollar) thereby reducing the pressure of acquiring dollar for external trade between Marketers and the external Refineries who do not trade in Naira. Dangote refinery buys in Naira and also sells in Naira

If these Chinese firms decide to relocate their business to other countries, there will be:
1. No tax to collect from them by the Ogun State Government
2. All Nigerian workers would be fired
3. Ogun State will not be able to borrow loans from China
3. No other Chinese firm and even Asian firm would want to invest in Ogun State
4. The internally generated revenue by Ogun State would dwindle thereby affecting the output of the State.
