Must everything be competition?

This is a very stupid comment. The person posted an update to the election and all you could pick from it is "competitions"

So small-minded and stupid.

With the number of anti-Buharis around, I doubt and hope not.

The doctors will intentionally make a mistake during a procedure. And that will be it.

" It's worth celebrating though" - Nairalanders.

WTF?! is the suppose to be a doubt in the celebration. This is a feat more than 90% can not make.

And to the half-brained Tolu Ogunlesi, you can get a PhD and see what it is for.

Whateva u like say.. but first of all go and correct ur igbophobia attitude.. is it a new thing that your parents tell u bad things not to marry igbo especially ur women!? undecided

So why are u complaining now?

Lol... What's this one saying?! Igbophobia...

If you have bad attitude and they've rejected you before. That's on you. Don't blame it on being Igbo or the in-laws being non-igbo.

Corruption is like Communication and Tango... it takes two.

If obj was corrupt, you are telling those Churches were stupid or dumb that try can't say NO or exclaim.

Check this Primate's purse, there will be pints of corruption.

Imagine having somebody like 1Rebel or Kellibae as an in-law or family friend, the marriage is doomed.

If small minded people like these do not exist on both side of the family, everything is cool. But if there is at least, hmm....

A lot of Africans are tribalist. This is the issue.

If you have a girl/guy that is from another tribe and immediate family accepted you, it doesn't end there unless you will prefer to keep your family outreach very small.

Friends of your bae, friends of your in-law, your extends family and that of your in-law... Are they inline? If not, you are running a risk of broken marriage. People can easily be influenced negatively. If there is a little mishap, the outside immediately relates it to the tribe. And like that it's you vs some stupid myths, superstitions and assumptions.

success is HARD WORK, SACRIFICE AND
PERSEVERANCE, all these I believe u don't need any grade to qualify for. There are many successful
people who do not own a degree. They just
work really hard and aimed for one vision =
SUCCESS. With this, they sacrifice and do
whatever it takes to be successful and
what they have been dreaming of. However,
this does not mean that one may not study
hard, we need proper education still.
just because they were poor in academics
doesn’t mean that they cannot be successful.
There are several great personalities who were
failures at first but then became a success,
gained fame and glory. For eg: Albert
Einstein… he was poor in academics and got
scolded by teachers a lot. They even said that
he wouldn’t amount much to life. But he went
on to develop many theories in physics,
especially the theory of relativity and E =
mc^2 which is known as the most famous
equation in the world. He even received the
Nobel Prize for Physics.
If one wants success, one has to have basic
knowledge, willpower, responsibility, common
sense, leadership skills, capability to think and
reason with and competitiveness, for, it is not
only the good academic grades that can pave
your path to success, but these factors too.
Not all jobs require great grades. Not all IPS
and IAS officers have great grades. Not all
engineers and doctors are rank holders, yet
they have made a success out of their lives.
Though that doesn’t mean that we don’t need
to study or get good grades. But, its not the
only thing required for success. It is one
among the many factors for being
successful…. A successful entrepreneur, has an
understanding of how to make a buck. They
possess the talent of taking in a buck and
turning it into ten. Some may have gotten Cs
and Ds in high school, but they might be the
ones who can think ahead and earn the
maximum profit.
So, I’ll say, good academic grades is only one
of the factors and not the only factor that
makes us successful in life.

Those successful entrepreneurs eventually brought people with excellent grades to help them ensure they never fails.

Bill Gates said "Although I dropped out of college and got lucky pursuing a career in software, getting a degree is a much surer path to success".

All of these top successful entrepreneurs are not lazy f*cks like these new ones springing out everyday. They worked extremely hard and learnt what they couldn't in school from other places.

She seems to have a business of her own so that shouldnt be a big deal

Business of her own... Doing Make-up?

A business that will soon run out of order like the dinosaurs once every single woman knows to do it which is the trend is leading to.

This girl was a lazy person at school.
Honours in your certificate simply means you didn't do extra year at school. It doesn't mean anything extra.

She claimed not to do some exams in 2nd year.. Dial it back, that's 2014. And that year, she was already on Instagram meaning she had a very good phone which she coulda used to pay school fees if her issue was money.

Summary, this girl wants us to celebrate mediocre, to praise laziness (and maybe stupidity). But we won't. We've had enough of these mediocrities.

Also, all these "I will get my own business" shut needs to stop. It's discouraging our upcoming generation. School may not be compulsory but Education is. And these days, you only get those in schools.

Peace!
