This is the story of a young boy whose parents were murdered during 2002 riots in Kaduna. He was aged 11 years at the time. His parents, Mr Austine and Mrs Josephine Moses, were missionaries until they met their untimely death. The boy left his house to play football but returned home to see that all his parents had laboured for had been razed down and he would never see his mother and father again. He was taken to London by his uncle almost immediately after the incident. While in London, he began deploying his football skills. Though his parents were murdered, his passion for football was never killed. He played football for his school and later for a local Tandrige League club until Crystal Palace FC approached him. From that point, his career progressed in leaps and bounds. This player played for England's under 16, 17, 19 and 21 teams between 2005 and 2010 scoring 11 goals for England during this period. He later moved to Wigan Athletic and now he plays for Chelsea. This footballer is called VICTOR MOSES. His story is a touching one, We share his pains. We also share his courage. He had a choice not to step into Nigeria again but he didn't take that option. When the call to serve his fatherland came, Moses dumped England and embraced Nigeria. That is patriotism! Today, we see a Victor Moses bringing joy to every Nigerian including those who may have inspired his parent's death... That is Love! On Sunday, Moses would stand for the National Anthem and pledge allegiance to a country that couldn't defend his parents. That is faith! Moses would deliver the "African Cup of Nations" trophy to Nigeria not minding what had happened in the past. That is forgiveness! Moses rose through bitterness and despair to the limelight of hope and courage. He never gave up on his country. He persevered. That is purpose! If someone like Victor Moses, despite the bitter past, Never gave up on Nigeria, then why should we? ONE NIGERIA, ONE LOVE!!! - Wole StreetJournal (For Hope For Nigeria). |

kheart: Federer ll ve done better dan murray base on head to head.Forget head to head, Federer can not match this guyz anymore. He struggled throughout the tournament, check his game against Tsonga. Djokovic won but it was a great match. |
jiraiyas: I dont agree ,Novak had a 5 set game with Waranka in quaters ,Ħ☺w did he retaliate in the semis ?he outplayed Ferrer(world number 5 now 4) in 3 set (6-3 6-2 6-2). S̶̲̥̅Ơ̴̴̴̴̴̴͡ that's № excuse .So are you trying to compare Ferrer and Federer, Murray played Federer and had just a day rest before facing world NO 1. He dropped just two sets before the final and it was against Federer. He was tired and psychologically out played, check the number of unforced errors today and you will understand better. Djokovic was a better player today no doubt but he had advantage. |
Djokovic defeated Andy Murray to defend his title. Novak Djokovic wore down Andy Murray in a gruelling four-set final to clinch a hat-trick of Australian Open titles on Rod Laver Arena on Sunday. The Serbian world number one lost the opening set in a tiebreaker but got progressively stronger to dominate the suffering Murray and win 6-7 (2/7), 7-6 (7/3), 6-3, 6-2 in 3hr 40min. It was Djokovic's fourth Australian crown and his sixth Grand Slam title overall to confirm himself as the game's premier player. Djokovic, 25, became the first man in the Open Era and the third man ever to win three consecutive Australian Open titles, joining Australians Jack Crawford (1931-33) and five-time winner Roy Emerson (1963-67). Murray, the British world number three, began well but he battled a left hamstring injury and blistered feet as Djokovic stepped up, winning the important points and most of the lung-busting long rallies. It was Djokovic's second win over Murray in a Grand Slam final after the 2011 Australian final, and ended the Scot's unbeaten 13-match run in the majors since his victory over the Serb in last September's US Open decider. Djokovic confirmed his standing as the number one ranked player while Murray will remain in the third position behind Roger Federer. It continued Djokovic's dominance on the Melbourne hardcourt surface and capped an impressive fortnight where he recovered from a draining five-setter over five hours with Stanislas Wawrinka in the fourth round to score emphatic wins over Tomas Berdych and David Ferrer to reach the final. http://au.sports.yahoo.com/news/article/-/15964568/djokovic-wins-third-consecutive-australian-open/ |
Lol not at all, I am just a better human than both of them. |
Sometimes we need to learn to fight our own demon. Now all the bride family will be his enemies, her parent will feel the pain more, infront of all their friends, co-workers, colleagues etc you humiliated them that much without even a single consideration? If they are not the cause of your pain why taking it out on the innocent people? The groom does not deserve to be their son inlaw. |
