What's the difference between Mark Zuckerberg and a mosquito? One stops sucking after you slap it

Congrats to Mark Zuckerberg who poked
his wife and now they have a baby.
Bottom line is if you're going to use
Facebook use protection.

If Mark Zuckerberg runs for President
do I have to vote for him or can I just
fake 'wow', 'like', or 'haha' him?

What Should I Send?

A girl was passing by and saw her boyfriend,
Akpos standing by the ATM.
She immediately hid and sent a romantic text
to him, "Honey if you are sleeping right now,
send me your dreams. If
you are laughing, send me your laughter. If
you are eating, send me some food. If you are
crying, send me your tears. If you are
withdrawing from the ATM, send me some
money."
Akpos replies, "I'm in the toilet what should I
send?"

When I die!

When I die, I want to die like my grandfather

Nairaland / General / Governor Under Attack For Criticizing Jonathan by study4free(m): 12:48am On Sep 02, 2016
– PDP chieftain Onuesoke attacks Governor Masari for criticizing former president Goodluck Jonathan over Niger Delta agitation – Masari had said that for six years Jonathan failed to develop the region despite huge revenues from oil within his administration – But according to Onuesoke, Jonathan was president of the whole nation, as such would not have concentrated on the development of Niger Delta alone at the expense of other parts of the country Chief Sunny Onuesoke, a former Peoples Democratic Party governorship aspirant in Delta state, has slammed Governor Aminu Masari of Katsina state for taking a swipe at former president Goodluck Jonathan. Masari had on Tuesday, August 29, said that for six years a Niger Delta president failed to develop the region despite huge revenues from oil within the administration. Although Masari did not name anyone, the reference to a Niger Delta president was apparently made to Goodluck Jonathan.

PDP chieftain Onuesoke attacks Governor Masari of Katsina for taking a swipe at former president Goodluck Jonathan over Niger Delta agitation However, Masari has been countered by Onuesoke, who said Jonathan was president of the whole nation, as such would not have concentrated on the development of Niger Delta alone at the expense of other parts of the country, Vanguard reports. Onuesoke, in a statement in Warri, while reacting to Masari’s statement, said the governor should have directed such accusation to his Northern leaders, who ruled Nigeria for a greater part of the 56 years as a nation, yet there was nothing to show for it nationally.

He added that there was so much underdevelopment, poverty and illiteracy in the Northern part of Nigeria for these 56 years. Listing the various achievements of Jonathan during his six years reign, Onuesoke said the former president administration implemented its agenda for national transformation in priority areas, including power, rehabilitation and expansion of national infrastructure, agricultural development, education and employment generation among others. Governor Masari of Katsina state He said despite coming from Niger Delta, Jonathan concentrated more in developing the Northern and other parts of the country because he believed his constituency was the whole Nigeria and not Niger Delta. He said: “The educational sector under his administration achieved a tremendous transformation as 12 federal universities of which four are situated in the North- West cities of Dutsinma in Katsina, Dutse in Jigawa, Gusau in Zamfara and Birnin Kebbi in Kebbi State, while 125 almajirai schools were constructed and commissioned with adequate teaching facilities to provide basic qualitative education to the less privileged in the society.” Governor Masari had challenged ex- president Jonathan and other Niger Delta leaders to “come clean” on how they managed the region’s resources. Masari also lamented that the way resources were lavished by the past PDP administration is the major reason some states in the country cannot pay workers’ salaries regularly.

Nairaland / General / APC Reveals How Obj, GEJ And Yaradua Aided Recession by study4free(m): 12:28am On Sep 02, 2016
– The APC has has reacted to an attack by the PDP regarding the nation’s recession – APC says the PDP is to be blamed for the recession which the nation is currently experiencing – The ruling party has faulted past presidents, Obasanjo, Jonathan and late Yaradua The All Progressives Congress (APC) has reacted to attacks by the opposition party, claiming that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is to be blamed for Nigeria’s recession. APC on Thursday, September 1, launched an acerbic counter-attack on the opposition PDP, accusing the party and Nigeria’s past presidents produced under its platform of bringing the current economic recession upon the nation. The ruling party said the 16 years misrule of the PDP plunged Nigeria into the current economic chaos……

PDP’s several years in power produced ex- presidents Olusegun Obasanjo, Umar Musa Yar’Adua and Goodluck Jonathan. APC said that the statement by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Wednesday “is the latest in the party’s insensitive plot to deflect attention from the voodoo economics and reckless fiscal policies the country was subjected to during its 16- year rule. “The warning signs were glaring to the immediate-past administration but it choose the path of economic sabotage by looking the other way and squandering the country’s commonwealth – a reckless decision that has brought the country to its knees,” APC stated. The party in the statement signed by its national scribe, Mai Mala Buni was formally reacting to attacks by the PDP on the President Muhammadu Buhari’s lack of capacity to steer the economy. Following the official declaration by the National Bureau of Statistics NBS that Nigeria’s economy was in a recession, the PDP had taken APC to the cleaners, saying the ruling party is confused as to how best to manage the economy and reverse its dwindling fortunes. Two former governors of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Prof. Charles Soludo and Emir of Kano, Muhammad Sanusi II had recently taken a swipe at the economic trajectory of the APC-led administration, describing it as archaic, indefinite and rudderless. ‘President Buhari Committed To Resuscitating Economy’ However, the APC assured Nigerians that the President Muhammadu Buhari APC-led administration remains solidly committed to resuscitating the economy in the quickest possible time and in the best interest of the people.

Nairaland / General / Man Who Named Dog Buhari Makes More Revelations [photo] by study4free(m): 8:44am On Aug 26, 2016
– Joachim Chinakwe Iroko, who was arraigned and remanded for naming his dog ‘Buhari’, has spoken out over the incident – Iroko also revealed his experience in prison and the lessons he had learnt from his arrest and detention – He further gave a reason he named his dog after the president and said he has other dogs with notable names Just after his release from prison, Joachim Chinakwe Iroko, the man who named his dog Buhari, has revealed that he does not hate President Muhammadu Buhari. He, in fact, said the president was his mentor and that he had other dogs named after other prominent leaders of the world. Iroko, the man who named his dog Buhari Iroko, a 40-year-old native of Delta state, was arraigned at the Ota Magistrate’s Court, for conduct likely to cause breach of peace and remanded in Ibara Prisons in Abeokuta, Ogun state. The incident led to serious criticism against the Nigerian law enforcement agencies as well as the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari. However, the presidency released a statement on Thursday, August 26, 2016 saying Buhari did not order Iroko’s arrest over what it termed a laughing matter. Vanguard reports that after his release from prison, Iroko said he had learnt a lot of lessons.

“I am so happy. It is a joy to me. I have missed my family; that was most painful. “Prison is a place to experienced in one’s life. It is like a rehabilitation home: you learn many things there and there are many people you may not have the opportunity to talk to.

“But in prison, you will sit down with them and discuss. There are many things you take for granted, but when you go to prison you know there is law. “The only thing I am regretting about my coming to prison is the intimidation from the Hausa community. Going to prison is a golden moment for me,” he said. Continuing, he said: “As a matter of fact, they misunderstood me. I have three dogs: one bears Obama, one bears Joe, an abbreviation of my name. The third is named Buhari.

“I named these dogs after my role models. My late dog was named after Nelson Mandela. I don’t just give any name to my dogs. “I give reputable names to my dogs. It is love I have for Buhari; he is my role model. “Buhari is not the President of the North. He is the President of Nigeria. I see no reason why Northerners should intimidate me: Nigeria is one. “I see no reason why they will be intimidating me. It is my right to name my dog any name. “Thank God, I have regained my freedom. The most painful thing is the way they treated my dog. I am not happy that they killed my dog, while I was in detention. “It is my dog, it is my pet. I love my dogs. They have no right to kill my dog.

“Nigerians should know that there are other dogs in other areas that bear Jack as name. Why is Buhari so special. It is a name that has been existing for several years.”

Politics / I Discussed National Matters With Buhari – Soyinka [video] by study4free(m): 10:51am On Aug 15, 2016
Nobel laureate, Prof. Wole Soyinka, on Thursday met behind closed doors with President Muhammadu Buhari.
The meeting, which lasted about an hour, was held inside the President’s office at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Soyinka was accompanied by a former Managing Director, Daily Times of Nigeria, Dr. Yemi Ogunbiyi.
The agenda of the meeting described as a private one was not made public and the Presidency did not issue any statement
on it.
As he emerged from the President’s office after the meeting, the Nobel laureate was visibly surprised to see State House
correspondents who were already laying ambush for him in front of the Press Gallery.
“I didn’t come to see you people,” he said as he attempted to break through a barricade set up by the journalists.
When it became clear to him that the reporters would not relent, Soyinka said, “I came to discuss national and international
matters, general matters, that’s all!”
When further probed about the details of the discussion, he said he would not divulge such.
Clearly not comfortable with press interview, Soyinka declared, “I will be holding a press conference in about a week. You
can ask me any question then, but now, please I will just like to get away.”
With that the journalists made way for him to leave the premises.

Politics / Nigeria Has Become A Poor Country - Buhari [video] by study4free(m): 10:37am On Aug 15, 2016
President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday lamented that Nigeria has suddenly become a poor country as a result of
the sharp drop in price of oil.
He however said the prudent manner his administration had been handling the nation’s resources had made it
impossible for people to know that there is severe shortage in the country.
According to a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina, the President spoke while
receiving the United Nations Population Fund’s Executive Director and Under Secretary-General of the United Nations,
Prof. Babatunde Osotimehin, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
He said commitment to transparency and accountability was serving the government in good stead, despite severe
shortage of resources in the country.
“It has been a very difficult year for Nigeria. Before we came to office, petroleum sold for about $100 per barrel. Then
it crashed to $37, and now oscillates between $40 and $45 per barrel.
“Suddenly, we’re a poor country, but commitment to transparency and accountability is not making people know that
there is severe shortage,” the President said.
Asking UNFPA to bear with Nigeria in whichever area the country could not live up to its responsibilities for now,
Buhari said exploding population and different cultural practices in the country provide fertile ground for research to
organisations like UNFPA.
The President thanked the UN agency for its commitment to saving lives in Nigeria, particularly of women and children.
