please we need advice on the next thing to do concerning an issue about a Canadian visa. A nigerian travel agent assisted us to apply for a visa and told my brother that it was an internship. to cut the long story short we never heard anything from the canadian visa center after biometrics for over 1yr. so we asked the agent to cancel the application. right now hes not talking to us. we re trying to apply for a canadian tourist visa and the agent is not saying anything to us because we need the previous details he used for the other application. what do we do now? how do we get the information's he used previously? please advice pls on how to retrieve my brothers information so we can go ahead to apply again.

Not true. I have seen 8 and above.

Get the right learning material, practice wide and you're good. The trick is to follow instructions. Know your punctuations. Know your tenses. Don't be too casual. Get a writing template, practice before your test and replicate in your actual test.

If you need to build yourself up with the Use of English language, you can get the book: A-Z JAMB Use of English by Dele Ashade.
I always recommend people go through that book first before practicing with any other English language proficiency test study material.

A 5 can't fly. We can be of help if you need to rewrite. There are other easier substitutes to IELTS. You can take the PTE core which is much easier or a mildly CELPIP.

Please WES is still requesting CIPM sends them transcripts for the Associate degree, after they have received transcripts for the diploma certificate. I am confused here as CIPM said they can’t send any other documents aside what they sent. Please has anyone evaluated their CIPM of recent. Please help!

Which of the two evaluation order did you create. Check that you didn't mix the order up from your end.

Victory is sweet. I thank God for the success of CIMA. I began September last year, wrote strategic case study on November 2023 and pass with a 90marks at first attempt. Just yesterday, my certificates of ACMA, CGMA got to me. I must confess, this is one of the greatest achievements of my life. Kept checking my certificates again and again. God did this. My wife and I got married (traditionally) in January 2022. And we have a baby together (my son is 8 months old). So we want to have our court wedding this month, however her international passport shows her maiden name. I have some questions:

1. Should she do a newspaper publication of change of name, as well as swear an affidavit, before or after the court wedding?

2. Does she need to do a change of name on her passport after our court wedding? We do not want problems at the embassy. Please, I need answers. It is urgent.

Change of name is not compulsory. If you choose to change, then it's after "court wedding"

Please a sincere question, why do people retake IELTS when they can easily follow the PNP route?
Retaking IELTS is extremely expensive why not channel the resources to PNP route or is there something I don't seem to understand?
Please someone should enlighten me because I see a lot of people retaking IELTS

You need the right point sometimes to get nomination. If retaking language test give you that point, why not??

Use WES. You get a college degree equivalent.

I have taken the IELTS and scored an overall 6.5. I hold a master's degree in petroleum engineering and have had my credentials evaluated by WES. I have been working as a project supervisor/site engineer for about five years in a refinery.

My husband has a degree in computer science but no relevant work experience; he is currently selling cars.

Retake IELTS or other English language proficiency test. A higher score will do you well in the pool.

You might want to consider taking the PTE test. It's easier to pass compared to IELTS.

In 2020, I heard about Canada PR but I wasn't serious with it, I was scared of writing IELTS

I kept telling my brother I have not studied enough for the exam.
January 2021, I finally wrote IELTS and got in the pool, then came the long pause of ITA. And when they resumed in 2022, the scores were so high, that I had to start learning French but my French tutor suddenly increased her price .

At some point I gave up on this journey, but last year after the elections, I knew I had to get back in the pool. And then CBD came, I wrote IELTS again and got in the pool.
