Men are generally stimulated by the visual, that's the way they are wired. They are visual. |
See yourself as you truly want to be seen. Damn!! |
This is the reason why I think society should reconsider its stance on marriage, because many couples are going into marriages ill-prepared to deal with marital issues. Date yourselves as much as you can, don't be in a hurry to tie the knot because some dude just introduced you to so and so who is looking for a wife. But now that you are married, I suggest she involves some of the elders who joined the union about the abuse. |
If President Jonathan fires prof. Attahiru Jega, there would be public protests on the streets by aggrieved Nigerians, and honestly I'll join them on the streets. Jega, must be allowed to safely oversee the elections and gently step down in June after ushering Nigeria into another democratic dispensation peacefully. Then Jonathan would listen to the voice of the street for once, and not continue draconian indirect Rulership. |
Going bald is a choice. For instance, my hair-line has been receding inch by inch for the past 6 years, so what did I do? Well, I shaved it off of course. Instead of keeping a few wispy strands of hair, which is actually unattractive, soo Banky did the next best thing he shaved it all off. All this guys and old men keeping 'Afro loading hairs' should consider shaving it off. Its very liberating, at least then you are exercising a choice. |
Well they are not strange bed fellows. GEJ is tpurroc. |
Ride on o'jare. I just imagined how I would look when I'm ... Oh never mind! I bet their kids must have played a part in this rekindling of old flames. |
Yeah, you are right. I used to be one of those guys, but thankfully that's in my forgotten (and I've learnt my lessons) past. klark3: |
Well here goes nothing. I'm not married, but sex plays an important role in marriages. Please do not listen to any 'holier than thou' peeps. I have a friend who is married, and she complained to me about her hubbys' inexperience in things sexual. According to my friend, they kept it in their pants till they got married and she ended up being disappointed with him and this 'small thing' has put a cog in the wheel of their marriage because the guy in question has refused to update his sexual skills. My advice is this, tell him point blank that he sucks when it comes to sex. There are countless books on the female anatomy and everything sexual I would recommend you download one and discretely pass it along to him. 'The Female Org..asm Black Book' Read this book and teach him. I used to suck in sex, but I read books, 'practiced' and today I am more than manageable in the sack, I can make any womans' toes curl when I go down on her. 'nuff said. |
Some years down the line, you would laugh at yourself for even thinking that your ex-boyfriend was irreplaceable. Yeah, there is always this withdrawal effect one has when something he/she craves is taken away. It will pass. If you like write a hit song for him, you would eventually come to grips with your feelings and carry on with your life. |
Honestly speaking, it would be difficult for me to date someone with a disability. When I say disability, I mean someone with a pronounced disability for instance someone who is lame or someone who had polio. I'm saying this based on my current level of understanding, acceptance and comfort. |
Nothing worth learning, unless what I learn would be how not to be like him when I lead men. blackfase: |
Thanks man, this man has tried his best. But unfortunately, it is not enough because he has refused to do what is right for Nigeria. |
lol.. I give it to *wait for it* ..... Chief T.A. Orji of Abia state, NO! I'm just kidding. When I saw the title, the first name that came to mind was Gov. Godswill Akpabio of Akwa-Ibom state, God bless that man. In succession would be Gov. Babatunde R. Fashola of Lagos state. I'm not from Akwa-Ibom, but I know people who are walking their talk and the governor is one of them. |
'Agreeded' Riskymallam: |
What? Please let it be a rumor. I enjoyed d'banj from way back, but my respect for him came down a notch when it was rumored that he bought a suit for 1M. At that point I just wrote him off. |
Op, you rock. I agree 100% wit the sex part, ladies would be acting like they are doing guys a favor. At the end of the day when he is hitting it, they'll be like 'Baby, don't stop.. Don't stop.. Harder.. HARDERRRRR!! Oh gawd I'm cu,mm..ing' Thank you jare! |
No! No!! No!!! This is unacceptable. |
We shall see, it would surely look like a Nollywood movie gone bad. |
Wrong is wrong, no matter who says it or who does it, I can't remember who made that statement, but it aptly describes what Nigeria is going through at this moment. Straight to the matter, corruption in Nigeria did not start in President Jonathans' tenure. But you would agree with me that it has evolved during his tenure into a creative expression. His tenure has been characterized by an ample load of promises to the citizens, with little or no concrete object for them to hold onto as a dividend of his 6 years in office. His tenure has been fraught with one corruption scandal after another. Many of which were publicized by the media, but none of which was thoroughly investigated and swiftly prosecuted. Eventually these cases, were swept under the carpet. Some of these scandals did not need further investigations as such, for there were incontrovertible proof that the malfeasance had being perpetrated. All that was required was the exercise of Nigerias' judicial and prosecutory muscle as mandated by the constitution so that these individuals would have been formally charged, and taken to a law court and subsequently sentenced to serve time. Many of these scandals, would have made honest men cringe largely due to their wantonness. The large-scale misappropriation, misdirection and gross embezzlement of funds, all happening under his watch. A true leader would have stepped down, tender an apology to the teeming populace that supported his election in 2011 for thoroughly failing them. Not so our president, instead he continues to wine and dine with 'corrupt' politicians, not so recently he was quoted as saying 'stealing is not corruption'. Ride on sir. What amuses me the most is the gusto with which he borrows, gradually digging a trench that Nigeria would spend the better part of her years getting out of. Not forgetting his various economic faux pas, incessant devaluation of the Naira and a general lack of an economic road-map for Nigeria to follow. Further entrenching himself in history as the most inept C-In-C to ever rule Nigeria. On the one hand, he has carried out various revolutionary projects across the nation, I cannot deny him that, while on the other hand his 'rulership' has been characterized by an increase in the skills and brilliance with which corruption is now being perpetrated. Gradually pervading the system in a trickle down effect, because like the saying goes 'A fish rots from its head'. Its no news that corruption in Nigeria has become systemic. Money grabbing, economic miscalculations and the misleading of the Nigerian public. I don't want to go into the security issues currently bedeviling Nigeria, an issue that would have been stamped out before it became the menace it is now. I do not want a leader with a questionable integrity, I do not want a leader that pats 'corrupt people' on the back. I do not want a petty man at the helm of affairs in my country, a man who takes every constructive or not so constructive criticism as the work of his political detractors. Every statement by the citizens or the opposition is taken as a personal affront. I say NO! to such a 'leader'. I say enough is enough |
No, so many things are left out. Well with the scenario you painted, it might work in that context. But its too rigid, not flexible. What if we are in an 'unromantic' bar? What if we are at the movies? Too rigid, thumbs up on your writing though. |
Unlike the male folk, the female folk can pull so many things off without being berated or chastised by 'society'. This is one of those things they can pull off. |
Its alright, neither would I comfydan: |
Hopefully you do get the thrust of the 'argument' presented, marriage really shouldn't be much of an issue. iphanyiuma: |
